Okay guys! I just watch DD and I have to say.. I LOVE IT!!! On contrary to what people said about how messy and disjoint the music is, this is soooo JYP. I remember the first time I listen to Twice signal and was like... what? but the song grew on me and I just can't let them out from my head. I love how this mv reminds me a lot of WG TDT. As for the visual, the all slay it! Without doubt! Can't wait for their live and the members' interactions. So.. I know I'm late, but could someone tell me who's the leader and who's the maknae? Dang! I saw Itzy's second teaser, it was the kind of tone that I love I saw a lot of bash about how it wasn't something that most people have expected and was relieved that Somi isn't a part of it. But on the contrary, I love it and couldn't help but to imagine if Somi was in it. I guess, I'm just an oddball for always liking less mainstream music. My Somi's favorite hairstyle would be the one without bang! Just anything without cutesy style I guess. She's perfect in everything, so I can't pick one. Although I must agree that her graduation style is the best one.

Uhm.. I thought big hit will never ever debut a girl group? Especially after that scandal. Anyway, I think Itzy will slays this year if that's the case. No competitor for best new girl group, which is a great timing! I just hope it won't clash with Somi's debut. 2nd Quarter means the end half of the year, right? So is that a no no to her March debut? :/ It's sad that we have to wait for another 6 months or more if it's true, but I think the timing would be better. Nothing rush and well planned. Hmmm.. yes, that could also be one of the reason. And tbh, it's the most make sense out of it if you link them all together. But I still believe that she was cut off from the group, thus led her to this bold decision. I mean, being a soloist under JYP is a bad choice, they don't have freedom and barely got any promotion. So maybe that's why she chose to leave, instead of waiting for who knows how long. (I'm worried about Lily M's future) About getting an offer to join TBL while she's still in JYP though, I don't think that was the case. She has no label for about a month after ending her contract with JYP. Although there could be a possibility that this was just a media play, so she wouldn't look like she's betraying JYP. But again, she doesn't look like the type that would do such a thing. But okay, let's just leave this behind and look forward to MARCH DEBUT!!!! And I agree with you. As long as she's happy, I'm happy. I just need to learn how to be more ignorant with people who bash her without any solid reason. Yes, like you said "maybe". Hence we don't know that for sure, there's also a possibility that "maybe" JYP might not include her in ITZY (same goes with Liliy M) thus why she left the company. But again we don't know that for sure. I'm not bitter of ITZY, trust me, I'm actually rooting for them. I was aiming more towards those JYP bitter stan who would inevitably comparing their success. While for rational people like us would understand that it's dumb to compare them. And sorry if my rant looks like I'm aiming mad or resenting at JYP, I just want an excuse to slap him with fermented kimchi just because he made us wait this long~ sorry not sorry ITZY has no doubt will be successful. I don't even need to wait for them to drop their MV to know that. We're talking about JYP girl group here. They're the only company that has a long run history of a successful girl group. So with Somi suddenly decline being a part of it makes me think that she's burning the ticket to a patently success in a long term. And that doesn't make sense to me. Why would Somi leave this big opportunity? Unless: 1. She's not a part of it, and the company wants something else for her which she decline, 2. She doesn't want to steal the spot light for her friends thus solo is the only way, but JYP didn't give her the opportunity, so she left. 3. She's just tired of waiting and want to do something different. Just a bunch of theory in my head. I know that JYP wants her to stay, at least we know that for sure. This girl has been waiting to debut in JYPGG for so long, then when she's in it, she left? No, that doesn't sit well to me. EDIT: okay, unless maybe she has her own other reason. But we would never know unless she tells us herself. Let's~ We're on the same boat here~ Long term career is the key here. No doubt she'll garner lots of attention when she finally debut. I love her bed hair more than whenever they style her hair in a cute way (not that I'm complaining since it suits her too) Talking about her music choice, would you guys prefer a friendly-mainstream type of music that general public would definitely like or something different/not mainstream which might be risky in the selling department? As a Meu myself, loving f(x) music for not being public friendly makes it hard for me in the long run. We got less and less promotion... but this is a group coming from SM we're talking about. They have tons of artists, so of course they would focus on their "assets" that make more money. TBL has only a few if I'm not mistaken. So hopefully they won't neglect Somi even "if" her debut fail or going under expectation. I honestly prefer something daring/different musically, but there's this heartache in me that makes me want her to success more than JYPNGG (which I also love omg I'm in dilemma) just so I can slap JYP with a fermented kimchi!

I'm rooting for both jypngg and solo somi honestly. itzy looks promising, they sort of have that missA + wonder girls vibe going on. And being a big fan of WG back in the days, it's kinda suck that Somi isn't part of this group But let's hope that Somi solo will go smoothly along with massive promotion here and there. TBL is really new to me. I'm not a fan of ZionT, so I'm not sure if they're promoting him well or not. Although I'm sure that there're still something more to add to her departure from JYP, but this is the kind of thing that Somi would do imo. And I hate the fact that she's too selfless.
