Does anyone have any idea where I can watch Terrace House: Boys and Girls in the city aside from netflix? Since netflix doesn't work on my country and http://www1.newasiantv.co/search/terrace-house.html misnamed the bgnd to bgitc, so basically that site does not have bgitc. Thank you.

Hyunjoo didn't come across as bitter from their break-up. She even re-created that sticker pose with Daeun for fun on insta.

And the funniest thing about all this, Hyunwoo is happily dating someone already (based on his sister's msg) so ....

With the help of the PD it looks like HW played both these girls like a fiddle.

Just saw the English translation for the reunion show. Was so happy to see some very cute interactions between Do Gyun and Jang Mi. This was the couple I shipped the hardest. The main reason that the outcome was so disappointing for me.

I probably shouldn't have turned to Twitter for spoilers. Show's over and the reunion episode is supposed to be a nice get together but people still be being nasty and saying HJ/HW couple deserved it and still calling HJ a snake. HJ redeemed herself especially towards the end of the series as we got to see more of her personality but then just because HW decides to choose her, everything is negated and she's back to being nothing but a snake. HJ did nothing wrong. I still don't understand why people drag her. You can support YJ without having to drag HJ. People be preaching at how mature and classy queen YJ is but can't act the same way.

Not a fan of HJ. But you are absolutely right. This girl does not deserve so much hate. Especially as she is likely a victim of PD editing. Everyone has their good side and bad side. You could not pay me enough to go on one of these reality shows.

I really enjoyed watching Heart Signal and the love story - so disappointed in the ending and felt the sorrow. Now, Today with subs it is a bit more clearer.

It doesn’t make sense ...What is bothering me about the end is the last five seconds of Hyun Woo & Hyun Joo. If this is their true feelings (he has chosen this girl over a girl he’s waited 5 years for) and with all this passion inside, meets his love with hands in his pockets and she has hers in her coat and the last second of screen time he is scratching his head, then that means to me, as an observer, there is no romance. (I know Korean culture is reserved, but is that a real response??) it looks like a producer chosen ending, sliced edited as best they could. All the cast would be under contract (I am reminded of, about 10 years ago, “The Bachelor†contract was leaked online, it allowed for choices by producers, misrepresentations of circumstances and audio to occur...). One more thing, I thought it was really odd as well, the panel mentioned an audio rumor last episode. Still, I enjoy Reality shows, because it’s mostly in there - I do believe YJ/HW really liked each other.

The fact that a member of the panel had to step in with a super long post to tell people to back off and that members of the cast are hesitant to come back to film the special episodes because of the hate, just shows how much people took it too far for a heavily edited reality show.

This is seriously ridiculous. Why can’t people try to act less like they know everything and just move on from insulting and putting down people they don’t even know?

Do people wake up in the morning and think: « Today I am going to that total stranger’s instagram to write him some hate comment, I probably should start thinking about what to write while taking my breakfast... Â»? I seriously am trying to figure out the thought process because I have never left a hate comment to anyone and never felt the need to do so.

Have to agree with you. On this forum we can say, "this one is my favorite, but this one is not" and the celebrities themselves are safe from our truncated opinions but going on the celebrities instagram and attacking them is taking things way too far.

Agree, so happy about this friendship. I am going to say something snarky. But I can't help myself. So apologies to Hyun Joo fans ahead of time. I really tried to like that girl, I really really tried. But she is too much like this girl I knew in high school. Sorry.

Anyway, One thing that Young Ju and Jang Mi have in common. They experienced Hyun Joo stealing their man (okay, that was the snarky part and I am sure many will disagree.) Very disappointed with the outcome but that is the way love goes. Hyun Woo mentioned that he has seen Young Ju before the show and had feelings for her even back then. Men are so fickle in their behavior (alright, Hyun Joo can't be blamed for that.) Young Ju and Jang Mi are both such solid and strong beautiful women they will definitely move on to better things.

Maybe that's the thing. I feel like she posts cryptic posts on purpose ("After the rain, the land is firm", "I don't need to talk to you", etc) and when people are bashing WJ and HW she is suddenly MIA.  She replies to JM who appears to be consoling her.  The whole thing just feels off.

Agreed, Jaeho is a great guy. I wish him all the best in life. If they are not together now, for me it's Daeun's loss tbh. It's kinda sad when I remember that scene with Youngjoo and Jaeho said how he was always been the one who get dumped in all his relationships and he wondered what he did wrong.  

Daeun has moved on with her modeling and actress career. She got the exposure she needed from this show and moved on.

I agree that GB has never looked at another person and that’s admirable so I totally get why people ship him. But I never get when people say HW hasn’t been clear with his emotions. He’s opened up so many times about it to her and the group without saying her name; communication styles are different for everyone so I accept that she didn’t always hear it as it was intended. GB definitely has the record on initiating things withYJ but it’s not like HW’s ever initiated dates with HJ either. Their first date was a mix&match, everybody except DG had an initial interest in their Christmas date because it was the first one. In ep 11, HJ even said herself that HW had been avoiding her since then so how is that being forward to her?

Anywhoo I’m worried about where HW’s head is at now, after witnessing YJxGB’s interaction. Strange that YJ took issue with HW choosing HJ 2nd but didn’t mind that GB did the same. Yes HWxHJ have history (that was unavoidable) and I still don’t get why HW chose HJ but it’s bizarre that YJ says in the preview she thought HW purposefully chose the place she wanted to go to avoid her. That’s an odd interpretation but things must have felt that way in the moment for her. Colour me confused â€â™€

Also, have you heard about the potential for no reunion special?? (Ahh I need one ) The producers are not sure because the cast said they are uncomfortable with the hate comments they’ve been subjected to over last few weeks. So sad that some viewers attack people who are entitled to their own flaws, emotions and decisions and for choices made months ago at that.

It is is a shame that the caste is getting hate comments. Totally uncalled for especially as I think there was so much manipulation in editing by the PD in attempt to gain ratings. I doubt that these normal but highly successful people were given any preparation for the fall-out of being exposed to the world. I cannot blame them if they do not have a reunion. The emotional roller coaster that they experienced during the filming of the show is likely still very raw for them.

I saw the episode and... I lost the excitement. I'm tired of predicting what they really feel Personally think Youngjoo was pissed at Hyunwoo cuz she thought he chose the other location to avoid her and it was clear as day how she was purposely avoiding him when she came back from her date with Gyubin.. that could also be why he voted for hyunjoo but again, we are only shown what we are shown and he could be totally smitten with Hyunjoo now. I've learnt not to trust anything being shown.

Ep 12 is one of my favorite ones. It embraces all the thing: twist, emotional roller coaster and fun. I felt really interesting and excited, even jumped when "Hello darkness, my old friend" bgm was turned on. DG-JM is the smooth and funny date out of 4. DE-JH, sorry to say but it's quite lame which didn't catch my attention. HW-HJ is awkward and then comfortable and then awkward again. All I can see a disappointed HW and a poor HJ. At the end of their date, he mentioned YJ again. It's like he thought about YJ almost during their date and that's why I feel really bad for HJ. She just stucks in HW-YJ love game. YJ and GB date, GB is really smart and thoughtful. Their date feels comfortable and friendly, nothing's special. After that, HW sit alone with "Hello darkness, my old friend" bgm and I can understand why he chooses HJ and YJ chooses GB. Both of them feel tired and exhausted. Next week will be the last ep, and YJ-HW ship still seems optimistic. Another point,although DG chooses JM, I feel he still likes HJ and JM notices that, too. Aigooo. 

I think you've nailed it. At this point I don't care about the shipping anymore. I am just happy to see such positive post by them on instagram. I think all of them will get over all the drama faster than the viewers will.

I think JH has become close friends with HW and thus YJ. He is just a cool guy all around. So not surprised by HW and JH hanging out together.

Feeling so bad for HW. He is a sensitive artistic type and not ready for the world of being in the fish bowl of celebrity. When he signed up for the show I don't think he was prepared for the social Tsunami afterward. Apparently HW and YJ are still close as her sister knows enough about his situation to comment on his losing weight.

He must know youngjoo is insecure about hyunjoo. She even said she thought he was giving the cookie to her and he even brought that confusion up to jaeho... I also don’t get why he chose hyunjoo as the second one

HW thinking is a question wrapped up in a mystery. He is the most naive guy I have ever seen when it comes to romance. It is obvious he is in love with YJ. So boy get a clue!

I follow both DG and JM on instagram from what I can see they are both flying solo. Also from their post I can see that they are both still the most adorable people. I hope they at least established a lasting friendship.

Just wanted to share that a few weeks back DG posted a picture of himself and his nephew on instagram and I commented on how cute and adorable his nephew was. To my surprise DG replied back "Thank you." I was so touched. At least this show seems to not have had any affect on this mans kind heart and generosity.

They exchanged their cookies but production edited out the part YJ gave her cookies to HW. 

The production tried to make viewers think that YJ return back his cookies.

It would be nice for a prologue to have the singles from Heart Signal 1 meet Heart Signal 2 cast. These would be my wish list couples: Young Joo x Hyun Woo (Jane Austen’s Persuasion- just saying), Jae Hoe x Serin (Mr & Mrs Host), Dae Un x Hyun Chan (Classy Chefs), Gyu Bin x Ji Hye (they look the same when they laugh), Joo Won x Hyun Joo (He loves to show off and she would giggle the whole time), and Jang Mi x Do Gyun (he could be a Acupuncture Doc in any major city in US and be paid well- parents would have a franchise then).

JM's situation in episode 10 is breaking my heart right now. I am just not feeling DG and HJ as a couple. 

welp. I haven't got time to watch the ep10 yet because of my weekend trip, but super curious with all this drama around daeun so I just watched the clip from youtube and have a look to the screenshot of her DM message...lol, she definitely snapped.

Girl really need to practice on not taking every little thing personally. It's kinda funny for someone who aspire to be celebrity she seems totally unprepared on how to handle negative comments and public scrutiny. There are stark differences between her reaction compare to HJ who also received a lot of hate from crazy shipper but matured enough to ignore it and keep her cool. DE probably thinks that the situation was totally unfair for her to be blamed for something she didn't do (giving spoiler) and all the hate comments was definitely uncalled for, but there are better way to deal with haters. Even if she's there to prove her innocence, do not fuel the evil fire by giving these crazies power over her.  

To her defense, I think it's not the first time for that person to leave hateful and/or click-bait DMs on her instagram because she begin her reply with "you come again/here you are again" so she probably had enough with this particular person and in the end threaten to sue if the person dare to cause trouble again but because we did not see the other DMs we don't know the extent of nastiness that person probably throws at her, so we kinda lose context in that aspect.

Even so, it's true that her reply was totally childish when she took that bait and mentioned YJ. But the way I see it from her wording, I don't interpret it as she has a major beef with YJ or implied that everyone should directed the hate to YJ instead, but the tone of it was more like "mocking" the commenter's standard of glorifying her faves when in reality they had a bias and skewed view on looking into things. It's pretty sarcastic but not in a way that directly jab and drag YJ.

 

Now about the double date "drama", all I can say is poor HW. LOL. Every time he tried to express his feeling sincerely to YJ (he even googled the animal that reminds him of her, how sweet), in the end it always cause a misunderstanding, like literally nobody gets him and his cryptic message

The moment DE randomly connect the cookie drawing to HJ just because she brought home lesser panda doll from her zoo date and talking about the plot twist that might happen at the end of the show, we saw how defensive and frustrated HW looked. It definitely a sly and petty move, but I don't think she realized that it was literally a trigger and forbidden words in YJxHW relationship. Of course she knows about HJ-HW-YJ love triangle, but i don't think she knows well enough about YJ's insecurities and how the misunderstanding happen between them just like us viewer did, so Idk if it was as bad as we make it out to be because the situation is different now, they already have that heart-to-heart talk, there's no way YJ will feel as insecure as she was in episode 7. It probably cause a slight confusion on her part but they ended it on a good note, they held hands (even if it just for a bet but still heart fluttering) and look really happy as couple, so whatever shady move she plotted against the main couple, it definitely failed.

I don't judge DE for the decision to stay off social platforms for now.  I know celebrities like EXO Kai have also made the personal decision to stay off social media. To think that a celebrity should to have a thick enough skin for any platform where you can be harshly judged, criticized and trolled for any thought, comment or reaction is completely unfair. Some can do it but many others cannot and choose not to do so.

Someone on twitter has posted what happened on Da Eun insta account. Right now, DE has deleted her Insta account. Although I don't like DE rep, I feel that fan's comment is also childish as hell. DE should ignore it from the beginning but she decide to rep and give knetz more reasons to dislike and bash her. Hmmm. And the fact that DE kept mentioning HJ in their double date makes me feel off. Like JH tries his best to make everyone comfortable and give them chances but DE wants to remind HW and YJ about HJ. She definitely knows YJ still feels insecure about HJ and she keeps on attacking on that. And now together with the mess on Insta, I don't know what I have to say about DE. HJ seems more mature than her a thousand times.    

Does that mean no more puppy pictures?!

Agree. I really like her though. I know she showed interest in Hyuwoo before but I wonder how much her asking Hyunwoo on a date at this time was the producers idea in order to make some drama. I think in these reality shows some situations are bound to be contrived by the production staff for ratings.

I don't understand why some think JH is bossy, controlling and manipulative. He is the founder of a multi million dollar company before the age of 30. To me that is a person who knows how to take charge. He was a wonderful facilitator for communication between YJ and HW. He really did listen to HW and then took charge to help because he saw his friend was hurting. He has a very flexible nature with dealing with people so to me that negates the idea that he is controlling and manipulative. Bossy, controlling and manipulative people don't listen, are insensitive and must have total control, which is in my opinion not JH. JH provides options but he allows others to make their own choice. He does listen and has a great sense of situational awareness as he showed with YJ and HW.

Why was everyone freaking out over Daeun going to Hyunwoo's restaurant? They might just be friends, they did live in a house together for a month+ and out of everyone, she seems the most amicable to me. As much as I don't really like that she's on the show probably because of her career aspiration, she comes off as a very nice person who would generally do her best to get along with everyone.

 

Watching Gyubin is so sad because he seems to try to appeal to Youngjoo that he's more than just a younger guy, but everything he does just shouts youth haha. It probably is difficult for her too because she has a younger brother so it might be a barrier that's even more difficult to overcome, aside from her strong feelings for Hyunwoo.

 

I'm so glad that the editors cleared up the whole Gyubin entering the girls' room!!! And through this episode you can see that the guys actually have been inside the girls' room at least a few times...glad to know that this show isn't (as) scripted as it came off the last episode.

 

Watching Jangmi and Do Gyun's date was so refreshing~ I sympathize with Hyunjoo but I really loved the chemistry between Jangmi and Do Gyun...and also, did you guys see what looked like little attempts of skinship when they were at the wine bar towards the end of the date (when they were exchanging the hand creams)???? That made me so happy~ Idk how Americanized Jangmi is (she's from Flushing/Queens and despite being fluent in Korean, she does have a slight accent), but it seems like she's a lot more comfortable with skinship and almost seems to have to restrain herself from initiating it because she's on the show??? I just wanted her to grab Do Gyun's hand so badly to see his reaction  .

Both men and women in American culture are more forward when it comes to moving a relationship. I think this is a good thing especially for Do Gyun who is very reserve. I am shipping Jangmi with Do Gyun.

Thanks for the info. Surprised that they care. Not really surprised that they made snarky remarks. Anyway, I was thinking that  jaeho having the nickname "Princeton" is because he is a Korea prince who went to school overseas but only the OP of this forum can tell us for sure.
