btw, i noticed that NB decided to post 2 more articles on iKON after my lil rant earlier today. Pann is trash and the comments do not = the general korean public but more like anti's from other fandoms. if NB continues with this garbage, I'm going to take a screen cap of the korean anti's sharing the Pann link to bash iKON but it may cause some fan wars...I feel like this is the only way to prove that the comments aren't from the general public.

yea no problem and please do share away! i kind of wish the larger iKON twitter groups like iKON Global would do the same with reassuring international fans. I don't know if they have any Korean administrators that keep track of this kind of stuff, but it would be great if they would just let the i-fans know that those negative translated posts are not even "news" in Korea and that the comments are always filled with anti's. I kind of wish I could help them lol

guys. I wouldn't get so worked up over the articles on Netizenbuzz, Soompi, or Allkpop. Those translated posts are always filled with anti's comments and are not indicative of what the general public thinks. On other group's DC galls/fancafes, crazy fans will deliberately share the link so they can all flock to the iKON related post and spam/vote/b*tch/complain. Believe me as I've seen it myself. I think it's entirely misleading that Allkpop, Soompi, and Netizenbuzz start off the titles with "Netizens..." because in fact, the general Korean public has no issues with iKON. All the articles on major Korean news portals right now are about iKON winning on Inkigayo or about their concert and about what monster rookies they are. Don't let those articles get you down. I did notice that it was funny how some international YG support groups on twitter like "YG United" re-tweeted negative articles of IKON. Not very "united" to me. It really makes me want to do my own type of translation site but I'm not tech savvy nor do I have the time because of work and being a wife. Yea, YG media plays like crazy but that ain't no surprise. He called another group prior to iKON the "next Big Bang" but I guess people are clearly having some memory loss. On iKON's DC gallery, it is true that korean iKON fans are upset and embarrassed at YG for the media play but like I mentioned before, this type of petty news is not news at all in Korea. I'm just personally sad that international fans are getting an entirely different message and are thinking that netizens hate iKON which is entirely false. Anyways, "iKON inkigayo" is still trending at #5 on Naver! More people see that than any of those "translated articles" this post was in response to:

I used to listen to his songs back in the 90's with my mom (embarrassed) he had an appearance on hidden singer this weekend and since then, his song topped all of the charts including hitting the melon roof several times yesterday so the timing was not the best. iKON DC gall is taking it bad... let's be positive!

A lot of k-pop idols these days reveal almost too much with video and audio teasers. I think YG wanted people to be genuinely curious and watch the m/v's or stream the songs to know what the album is about. Yes! But for the first 3 links you posted...since they are Korean websites, please search for iKON in Korean so copy & paste "ì•„ì´ì½˜" about an hour before their album comes out and search to your heart's desire. When the album comes out, I would probably focus on streaming the songs or watching the videos. Luckily for international fans, this is zZzZ time for Korea so you guys can help out a lot! I'll be at work so I won't be able to spazz with you guys. Hope someone takes over the chart duties as well as trending duties (if you can read Korean).

hey guys! make sure to search for these words on Naver, Melon, and Daum search engines to keep it trending (with that order for priority). I would suggest that you start trending 1 hour before 00:00 (maybe right after the V app special?) Trending topics are important and by having the public be aware of the half album release, this is a huge way of gaining lots and lots of casual streamers. I would say try the following: ì•„ì´ì½˜ ì•„ì´ì½˜ 리듬 타 ì•„ì´ì½˜ ì—ì–´í”Œë ˆì¸ ^ FYI in chronological order it says iKON, iKON Rhythm Ta, and then iKON Airplane (YG has the title as Airplane in English but I typed it in Korean just in case).
