I'd agree, but I feel like she's doing more while the other members are just doing the kinda crappy covers and junk. It's not as if they're doing comebacks without her. Besides, I'd say she could join them for those covers too. I mean why not? isn't she supposed to be training? Doing idol things? :/ Yeah there's a language barrier, but she can at least dance and rap I feel. From my vantage point, it seems as if she could be spending more time focusing on integrating herself to a point where she can keep up as a functional stage performing member of the group.

So maybe she isn't holding things up, maybe she is. Taking the possibility into consideration (and I know I'm late as hell to this train), but Alex's other obligations are pissing me the hell off. It's as if she or her agents aren't aware of the nature of the industry they're trying to push her in.

That would at least make more sense than this shit! Not saying I want a picket fence ending or some crap. I mean if the story ends with Luffy having perfectly achieved his goal and the last thing we're left with is the crew with and King Luffy and Nami's actually been logically and cohesivley produced by Oda as a partner to Luffy or at a relationship or connection that's essentially more than platonic, but functionally as free and lively and up as they are now, that'd be cool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't really have a preference for pairings for Luffy I know you know that if you analyze this franchise, you will find nothing but a bunch of fucking ichifuckingruki lmao. Even if it was meant to be platonic, you can't deny Kubo had a hard-on for these two being together hahaha.

So I think we can all kindof give Kubo a pass when it comes to lose ends and the actual meat of the series. Bankai/Zanpakuto/Shikai unseen, character potentials unexplored, infinite lose ends and crap that doesn't make sense etc. etc. etc. etc. I say "kinda" cause he still had 15 freakin years. So as far as that goes....what much else can you say that hasn't already been said since it's kinda been going on for years now. What I believe we cannot give a pass on, specifically because it didn't need to be done (and unlike the above, hasn't existed as an ongoing problem for years as it really just happened now) is the romance, god. After Naruto and now this, I have officially been broken. I'll just say that given the past 15 years of BLEACH content and the nature of what it has been, we're on some fanfiction ish. Sure it's been 10 years, but you don't just jump to major ass conclusions like this with no prior establishment or set up or meaningful anything over the course of 15 years of a franchise and 685 chapters and then boom say "This is how it is" on chapter 686 and the last day of said 15 year period. Yes, he was clearly rushed and BLEACH was being canceled but that doesn't equal these choices lol. Even if it was that hard to pick pairings, just screw it all then and don't focus on that crap. I mean IchiHime makes no~ sense. It takes fucking two and they've had virtually no interaction, much less meaingful interaction throughout the entire damn story, especially compared to other characters. Only exception being when he and the crew went to save her in Hueco Mundo, and that's even a fraction, because how many times throughout that saga did they even actually speak to one another. How many times was it of any legit standout substance. RukiRenji makes no goddamn sense. There was no development for that whatsoever. You could have made the argument that Renji might have felt something for Rukia that was romantic, but then you'd have the same problem as IchiHime. They don't see those people that way. You can't just remedy all of that with a little bit of sudden possible vagueness in a panel or two in one chapter after fifteen years. Tatsuki and Keigo makes even goddamn less sense than both of those. Okay maybe not that much less but at least an argument could be made for at least one of the people in the two above.
