thank you! so when you applied for your colleges, did you get into the rly good ones? bc im worried about my grades in math i take the harder classes... but the way it's done is just weird in my school or smth and i have like a b rn i have a low b, including a low b last semester (precalc)   like i don't want a community college, but i want to go to a renowned school ya know not those unis that are just okay

I overheard my friend saying that gay marriage was "disgusting", and it's been rubbing me the wrong way since last week.     Everyone deserves the right to marry who they want to marry. Why does it matter if you think it's wrong? You don't own the world; you don't make decisions of what's right and wrong for others. We, ourselves, decide what is right.  If you find it disgusting, suit yourself. However, just because someone is gay, doesn't mean that they don't deserve equal rights.     Also, you may think that it's okay to degrade others with different sexual orientations, but what you're doing is putting people down. For what? Their sexual orientation. Not their personalities, their crimes, etc. Their orientation.   In this world, if it's not right to degrade sex, race, etc., then it's damn not right to slam someone down for their sexual preferences.   /rant

how do you find the eccentricity of ellipses? is it only for ellipses?     and how can you tell if a hyperbola is horizontal/vertical? y^2 is first -> vertical x^2 is first -> horizontal?   also how do you find the transverse axis length/conjugate axis length for hyperbolas? thankies ~~

do you guys use any sites to study for any of your AP social studies courses?   im taking ap world and i have my test tomorrow... it's over 5 chapters of classic periods, and the test will definitely not be vague (i.e. the tradition and encounters book will be the whole test, not the general outlook) i haven't even read the last chapter for this unit...     help.... i have a princeton ap review book, but it's way too general w/ the content im using getafive to watch the lessons to help me... ;___;
