You are correct in saying that we generally lock and delete threads of that nature. However, I can understand her point of view in this case as well. A good portion of the posts were actually contributing to a conversation instead of outright bashing. It seems that she tried her best to try and salvage the decent comments and get rid of any and everything that appeared to be off topic. Locking and removing it may have been the best solution, but she was within her right to try and remove comments instead. In any case, the thread has been removed and hopefully the issue with this ends here. Apologies if you feel that things were mishandled. You cannot see any warning other points but your own, so you are assuming without any knowledge that nothing was done about the user. From what I see another mod warned you because you posted a gif that explicitly wished death on someone (real, joke, or otherwise the rules state it is not accepted here). You are welcomed to appeal that warning if you hadn't already done so. That username is not warn worthy. Well, we only ban people that consistently break the rules enough to reach 10 points (or post something that garners an automatic ban). Beyond that we cannot say why that user was banned.
