Hi Mods, what is your course of action when an OP of an artist thread is very outdated.
The E-Girls Thread was last updated in September last year, and they are very active currently and have released more music since then.
The answer depends on the status of the user holding the OP.
If that user is active around the forum you will have to PM him or her (you'd need to ask the user to update the OP, or you'd request that the user turn the OP over to you).
If the user isn't active around the forum, that inactivity would have to reach 2 full months before we step in to give the OP to you. If you happen to get in touch the with OP and he or she doesn't want to update, or doesn't want to give up the OP nothing can be done about it.

Go to your inbox, compose new message, and then type the names into the designated boxes. In the top box you put one name and then put the others into the box underneath it.

Sorry for popping in, I was banned from the bashing thread and just need some clarification, more details in the spoiler.
In context, it was a bash against an idol and their fandom by using comparisons. I wasn't correcting anyone or defending SNSD from another bash. I don't believe I've defended in the bashing thread before either, despite having 2 posts of the same nature as this a few weeks ago not be contested or taken down. I'm sorry if this seems like complaining but I created the post in full respect to the rules of the bashing thread. I don't need my post back or anything, that's not the issue. I'm confused as to why I had to be banned for it.
The mod that banned you from the bashing thread isn't online at the moment, but I will forward your message to that mod.

Yes you do. All computers/devices using the same WIFI will show as having the same IP address, so we just take not of shared IP addresses.

I read through every comment in this thread, and surprisingly it hasn't turned into a bashing thread. The comments are tame and I see actual discussion so far. It's not against the rules to have discussions like this. I will keep an eye on it though.

You can only make the votes public during the initial creation of a poll. If you have already created a poll and not marked for the votes to be public, then you cannot go back and change it.
When you create a new poll there will be a box that says "make votes public" Be sure to mark that with the new poll.

I'd like to ask question regarding the function of "My Media" like how do you put your file/data into it? or in general, what is that function for?
Any attachment that you upload to the site would be stored there. However, that function has been disabled so it technically has no function.

Right click, open up notifications in a new tab, delete your notifications, and then it should be working from there. This happens when you receive a notification from someone with a special character in their name.

But of course it doesn't work as the search bar is disabled, so is the tag function.
It's a matter of sacrificing something small so that we won't have to sacrifice the greater site function. As soon as things go back to normal the function will be enabled again.

I guess you replied before I edited my post. It's disabled and not removed. You can always search using Google. I never really found the search function to be as accurate anyway

Also quick question . Do mods get payed ? I mean you guys have a pretty hard task ( seriously who would want to be a mod ) . If not why would anyone waste their time regulating a forum full of trolls and ungrateful people claiming you're biased ? What's in it for u guys ? Sorry if its too personal , im just curious
In addition to caring about the community I think of it as another one of my hobbies. I've been a mod for 3 years now, so I'm pretty use to the negative aspects already (I vent if I have to and then move on along).
No pay, its a volunteer job. In my case I've been modding at various sites I join since my teens and I always try to become part of the staff if I think I'm going to stick around that particular site. Why?

It depends on the type of badge you are referring to. The badges that have anime pictures can be bought in the marketplace. The unique badges (such as the Jack Sparrow badge I have displayed), can be won during the upscale events that the events team host. I personally have mine as a perk for being a moderator. Hope this helps.

u mods are really something Did you actually read through the replies, or did you just assume it should be closed based upon the controversial topic? Controversial discussion isn't forbidden, and when/if that threads turns ugly it will be closed. The replies in that thread are tasteful and contribute to a conversation that is currently happening in the U.S. Now, look at the thread you just linked and see that the intention is to bash, and was not created to have a conversation that is sensitive and controversial. The OP clearly stated why they hated the fandom they are speaking about. Do you see the difference? I surely hope that you do.

?That's not something we can answer for you. I suppose when the site traffic returns to normal we will no longer need these periods of safe mode (but I can't give you a specific timeframe).
