Tencent organized a LPL bootcamp to help the LPL teams who qualified for Worlds (hint: it doesn’t work well) it was supposed to last until next week after group stages ended but it was abruptly ended yesterday apparently they organized it specifically only for EDG even the CN casters confirmed this. EDG didn’t even want to scrims with RNG and WE. Granted this is only rumours but the bootcamp part is apparently true

Jesus EDG is in a very bad spot one more lost and they’re out of contention for quarterfinals With this lost they’re also eliminated for first seed contention for playoffs because of the head to head rules If they lose to any non SKT team again then they’re projected to be dead last in their group because of the same system If C9 scores two more wins against AHQ and them again EDG will be dead last in the group and even if AHQ and EDG are tied 1-1 in the head to head system they’re still out of playoff contention The only way they can survive is if they can 3-0 in the second week but it’s practically reaching now
