  1. Don't hold me back.

Lee Soo Man gets escorted out of the SM building and in their first comeback since his departure, SHINee whips out the handheld mics and sings HARD live. (Correct me if I'm wrong but back in the day, you had to sing live on Music Bank.)

I know, I'm quick to point a finger at Lee Soo Man for every offense (while acknowledging his massive contributions and impact to and in Kpop) but I refuse to believe this is a coincidence. I think, at some point, he became pro lip syncing on music shows. However, Onew sang I'm On The Way live on one of the music shows during his 2022 Dice promotions, so maybe I just crapped on my...whole point to this post.

    Okay, hold me back.

  2. I immediately considered it a successful comeback cause the title track and album slaps but that's self-centered thinking. I'm so happy they are getting wins and appear to be having fun doing the HARD challenge with other idols.

Speaking of HARD challenge, it's good to see HYBE and SM idols putting past agency  management drama aside and joining together for challenges, which I do enjoy watching.

  3. I'm a little afraid that EDGEee (okay, SHINee) is painting itself into a corner with the back to back harder sounding comebacks. I love the songs but I'm seeing some newer reactors soiling themselves and they shouldn't cause SHINee might whip out the dueling accordions in their next comeback but that's what you "normally" get with SHINee, a whatever they're in the mood for title track paired with amazing album tracks.

TLDR: SHINee may be building up expectations for an edgier sound. Lose the expectations.😐
