I think F(x) making it big might be for the members sake/sanity. RPPP/Red Light promotions brought a lot of negative attention to F(x)/Sulli/Krystal. The members might feel like the group has run its course if this comeback doesn't get positive feedback. This is probably on Krystal's mind. Sorry to say but as an outsider, Krystal carries the group. Out of all the members leaving, Krystal's would have the worst impact. It would be interesting to see if SM would keep the group going without her.
