  1. OMG let me join the hype.

I stan Yuri so much and Wei Yang as well <3

    I've replayed Yuri's parts at least 90 times.... it's so addictive:D

But where are the live performances? I want to see if they changed the choreo 'cuz on the debut stage they did >.<

Maybe they're rich and that's why they can make a good debut <33

P.S. I was checking iTunes for days if there  O21 is up there already and then I realised they are 021 there -__- y u do this company??

P.S.S. Am I the only one who thinks Jiyoung's voice is super weird when she sings after Yuri? :( either her tone is not good or idk what... when she did the 4th verse and high note she was good.... idk -_-

probably sounds to me jiyoung has more deeper voice and is forced to sound cutsey

  2. I really doubt they will add a ninth member. At this point I don't see where they would see a need. I guess you could always go younger and pick up another full rapper or a combo rapper/sub-vocal like Sungah.

I just don't know if the other girls would want to split income with another girls when they don't really need another person.

There are only two reason you bring in another person. One if someone like Hyuna is planning to "graduate" or "retire" from the idol business due to her aging out. At that point you bring in someone with lead or main vocal capability. The same would be said if you were losing someone like Erine. You bring in a main rapper. The other would be if you feel this group needs a 19 or 20 year old visual to go after the young crowd and uncle fans. That would be someone you are grooming to be the next face of your group and visual.

I just think that just like you will not get another member of GG to replace Jessica, I don't think Nine Muses will add another member.

I don't know, what do you guys think? Does Nine Muses need a ninth member? What position would you all want if one were added?

probably if they add another member they are gonna be a visual and probably the new youngest or something

im assuming they are gonna pick someone who has younger features really just because thats what is trending for girl groups it seems.

  3. What an interesting question. I agree with alot of what you say but wouldn't say it was Sera and the girls. I don't think they were ever early Sistar with Hyorin dominating the group. The closest would be their debut and pre-2013. By 2013 you see the emergence of Kyungri and Hyemi getting her due. I think you see the Nine Muses vocal line standing out and not just leaning on Sera. There are times on Dolls, Wild and Glue that I find Hyuna, Hyemi and Kyungri's vocals better than Sera's.

As far as Sojin and Keumjo go, they are replacing three veterans. Sera is a better vocal than Keumjo but she has more experience. Sojin IMO is a better dancer than Eunji and better singer than Lee Sem but she doesn't make up for the sorely missed rap skills. Also Sojin is definitely a bit camera shy. I see lately that Keumjo is trying to come out more and that's a good sign for your Maknae. I think 2013 was the "golden period" for Namyu because you had an experienced group with great song after great song in one year. But I don't see much odf a drop off with quality of music or members. Think about it, with two rookie members they have put out three great comebacks. That's better than the original group did when they were rookies.

hmm im wondering at this point if they are gonna add a ninth member or not

they dont have to but i feel like they will add a new member next comeback

  4. I understand what they are saying but it's very frustrating. I was putting together a list of my favorite Nine Muses B-side songs since their debut and a lot of their B-side songs are better than a lot of title tracks from other groups. I know that in their hearts they want to win and feel like they should have already won. This is the same group that put out MVs for Dolls, Wild, Gun and Glue in one year and couldn't get a win with at least one of those songs. Are you kidding me.

So while I understand to them it's not about popularity but really it is about popularity and how you are viewed by the public in their industry. Popularity gets you a lot of advertisers and top notch ones at that seeking you out. Popularity gets Minha a chance to star in dramas and be courted by studios to star in dramas. So while popularity means nothing and says nothing about musical talent or the quality of your music, in the kpop world it does effect the standard of living for these ladies.

fact of the matter is obviously korea sleeps on actual quality good shit

nine muses is purely ignored probably due to so many member changes but still dont mean they took any steps backwards
