I actually don't particularly like bestie's new single. The MV's cute and the girl with purple hair (not quite sure what her name is) is super, super cute but the song isn't outstanding to me. I don't want to say that SISTAR owns a concept like that because they definitely don't but I think I've had my fill of that style~ I guess I'm just a weird girl

I think that it's still possible to gain more fans through variety shows the problem is whether or not it's possible for them to go on variety shows altogether. One of the aspects that fans love the most about their fave groups is how the group members react to each other. SISTAR do go on lots of variety shows but it's mostly alone or with just one other member. And, if I'm recalling correctly, the only time they got a entire show to themselves was hello baby with leeteuk (which really turned into a competition between the members over who could be mother of the week) a lot of times I read posts and comments about how SISTAR don't seem to ~get along or ~mesh well and how people think that it's just a group of four girls who'd rather be doing something else with there time and I think that's where SISTAR lose some people who could become hard core fans. I think that SISTAR have personalities that fangirls could love only fangirls are usually poised to hate them because usually when SISTAR is brought up, it's in regards to competitions with other groups. I think a lot of sones are into SISTAR but really aren't here for the constant comparisons, the constant "sistar's coming for snsd's wig." I think the same thing is true for fornias. what SISTAR need is some kind of variety show that isn't about competition where they can show off how close they are with each other and other girl group members. they need a show where they don't have to worry about ~coming off arrogant (literally they could blink in the sunlight and people would call them disrespectful--although that pretty true for most girl groups) and can display talents that they have that don't necessarily have to do with music and performing. Basically, they need their OWN variety show --a good one with a great mc and games without high stakes. But I don't think that STARSHIP is going to invest in that any time soon. plus I think that SISTAR could kill with another Loving U-ish concept. I think people wouldn't be able to resist if they did the fun beach girls thing again. I really wish they could do something similar to Mihimaru GT, or M-Flo, it would shock and awe for sure.
