so cute
side note, some people think hao blew hanbin a kiss when he said "oh... interesting" (kiss in between the two words) and then hanbin's like "what's interesting???" and a bit giggly. i don't think i believe it, sounds too crazy, but i am noting it here because i've already seen it discussed a lot lmao
Oh, I saw too many crazy theories on twt about it
tbh the sound was more like him clicking his tongue, I wouldn’t think too much about it

I know that they aren't technically Kpop idols, but since they are idols kind of created using a kpop system with Produce, does anyone have any thoughts on JO1 or INI?
Both groups were formed through the Produce Japan shows as permanent groups, and I've gotten into them lately (mostly JO1 due to their cover of Super).
Since they're still popular idols, I doubt we'd get anything major compared to major musicians in Japan (like Ayumi Hamasaki), but some things have been fun to check out.
There was the time some members went on a gay radio station and tried to guess the most popular member among gay men. I'm waiting for the day this happens in Korea lol.
They did have a photoshoot in a gay club apparently (not sure if it actually is but that naked man in the 2nd pic makes me think yes). But it is just a photoshoot.
Their leader Sho is someone who seems supportive at least. At their recent concert he gave a fanboy a hug.
They apparently have quite a few male fans, especially gay men (I guess Produce JP was popular in that demographic), so it could just be a Jiwoong situation, but in either case it is still nice to see male idols being affectionate to their male fans, since they could totally get by without doing so.
There was this moment at 10:28 when they were bowling and he said "from the boyfriend's perspective" and quickly changed it to girlfriend. Lol I remember hearing "Kareshi" and taking a double take.
One of the covers he's done recently was Elton John's "Your Song."
He also seemed to be good friends with Ryuchell before they passed away this year.
TW for the wiki article which does delve in Ryuchell's life and death a bit more.
There are other moments and thoughts on the other members, but for now thank you for reading my thesis.
Interesting, I never thought there would be a jo1/ini post here. I've been a fan of both groups since debut and I have a quite few takes regarding them.
JO1: The member that it's likely to be part of the community is Ren. Months ago he said on a program that "He wanted to live with someone he trust, no matter if it was a man or woman".
I have a hunch regarding Yonasho, mostly because he has always been supportive of male fans and also hanged out with Ryuchell. There was a quite interesting video of something Ryuchell said about Yonasho back when they debuted that it made me go
(he was telling Yonasho always commented his posts with "how cute", inviting him to meals, etc) Ryuchell was married at that time though, so that's something to consider and also they had a friendship group from Okinawa.
INI: I've been more updated with them since they're my ultimate fav jpop group and Fengfan definitely is interesting. He posted the next post on pride month:
And also, some INI members went to a radio interview and talked about social issues, Fengfan talked about lgbtq issues and also gender issues.
To be honest keeping up with the receipts it's difficult since most of the content is behind the paid wall (and jpop fans are very jealous and dont like to share paid content) and a lot of content also is not translated. But I bet they have more interesting to content that got lost and I don't remember

damn the quarantine really hit him hard
Something about him being melancholic about bp while being in quarantine but also being thankful to the people that are by his side while attaching a photo of centerz on his first post shouldn't had hit me so hard. Everyday I'm glad these two found each other while pursuing their dreams.

Hanbin saying he's not ashamed of any of his past performances on the comospolitan interview, I'm proud of him. An active (and possibly the next it boy) idol taking proud of his lgbtq influenced dance origins.
Hope fans can finally stop clutching their perls everytime someone mentions hanbin's past performances as if it's something we shouldn't be proud of it or hyping it.

Hao has been having random hetero rumors just because he’s breathing next to a girl, but out of all the tweets this response got almost 50k likes

Today is a day to be marked, they're getting bolder every day. I would like to note that every time things go down specially on Twitter they do something louder next such as posting selcas for the first time or Hanbin reaffirming in a way that Hao is his soulmate. They keep showing signs that they are on social media too and clearly don't care about fans talking about their relationship.
I know, right? It’s so refreshing to see that they don’t care about the public’s opinion and they find a way to even show more their bond and how special they are for eo. I found kinda funny how people (myself included tbh) thought they will stop after all the daily hate both get :(,:but they simply don’t care and somehow got bolder every time and I love that for them.
Also the sandwich photo next to the selfie, Hanbin knew what he was doing with that post.

Thank you so much for the thread, I’m already camping on this thread for a long time.
Since there hasn’t been that much of official content lately, I gave you all Hanbin and his “the other half of my soul” agenda. At this point, I’m mostly flabbergasted of Hanbin being that sure and proudly calling him that since they’ve only knowing each other for 6 months. Crazy, crazy.

Dear god, by the time of zb1 disbandment the haobin documentary will surpass the lotr extended version saga.

Hello guys, I've been a casual reader of this thread since 2016 and decided to put my humble input of my personal opinion of idols that could be part of the community, as always I’m up for some conversation and do feel freely to disagree with me.
2AM: Jo Kwon (he’s basically living on a glass closet, always embracing proudly lgbtq+ elements/art expression, I really admire and adore him).
SHINee: Key (another one that goes without saying).
U-Kiss: Soohyun (I will never forget those leaked messages with Jo Kwon).
EXO: Sehun (from his mysterious relationship with that chef to him confessing on a concert he likes men), Suho (his relationship with Donghwan was kinda suspicious, from Donghwan’s old instagram posts and to Suho even admitting he’s his soulmate on a Vlive and said he helped him write love songs for his debut solo album, I sincerely hope they still going strong), Kyungsoo (I can’t remember any interesting recipe at this moment, but I do admit is pure vibes).
BTS: Suga and Taehyung (them always embracing too popular lgbtq+ elements/art has made me curious, Taehyung always gave me bisexual vibes)
NCT: Ten (another one popular opinion, personally since that element on the star of NCT where his teacher confirmed he indeed didn’t have interested in women, I got the feel he is one of us). I do admit with the rest of NCT I have my doubts, specially with Jeno, but there hasn’t been anything specially concrete.
IMFACT: The whole group was kinda interesting, but if i have to go with someone is Ungjae, boy has been embracing it since the debut.
SEVENTEEN: Hoshi (let’s be honest, his relationship with Soohyuk is definitely interesting, matching items, always on dates, etc), Jun (though he’s very flirty with men, he always pinged me as a bisexual).
CIX: Hyunsuk (I adore him, from him saying on vlive his heart beats with male actors than with female actresses to him being obsessed with Maxence), the whole group is indeed interesting though.
BOYS PLANET: Boys Planet deserves a honorable mention, the program was very lively with possible members of the community. Seowon, Haruto, Woonggi, Hojin, Chen Kuanjui, etc.
ZB1: Zhang Hao (he was basically out as he could be back in his town, from all the pre-debut posts that got leaked from his old deleted accounts), Sung Hanbin (was basically a member of a house, despite most of people thinking he got deyassified from his younger self, he simply is not flamboyant personality-wise). Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin relationship simply strikes my interest, after all the content from BP and non public interactions after that it wouldn’t surprised me if they have something going on. Despite everything, honestly their bond is such a breath of fresh air.
That’s all I have on my old memory for now.

I’m kinda surprised they had to bring their passports for a domestic flight, but either way not my country not my rules, w1 should have known better
