Only a little, being able to read and type key stuff like names, shows etc is quite helpful when you're into K-Pop. Most of my core vocabulary comes from TV shows and songs, everything else I break down into component parts and use two translators. I was considering switching my sig to text for a while using the T-ARA song titles Like The First Time and I'm Really Hurt to express my feelings right now! - 네티즌들, 처ìŒì²˜ëŸ¼ ë‚´ê°€ 너무 아파.

Of course this had to happen right at the same time as a comeback (what a coincidence...) so when I'm searching for new stuff, I end up finding articles that I'd rather not instead of what I'm actually looking for.

It's not so much the scandals themselves that bother me, it's that they become the go to insult for antis lacking the ability of individual thought. See T-ARA, G-Dragon, Nichkun etc...

It's always the exact same bashing over and over and over

The way netizens generate scandals really makes me question the journalistic quality and integrity of the Korean media who just run with them without applying the slightest bit of rational thought or logic to the stories they publish.

I'm really tired of groups I like getting involved in 'scandals'

The odd thing is, the T-ARA incident last year is what brought me back to participating on the forums. I've been into k-pop for about 4 years but most of the time I just read the news articles and occasionally commented on them. I lost interest in the forums with the way 6T went long before it was shut down.

When the T-ARA thing went down I couldn't avoid posting... I'm pretty certain my first post in the AKP forums was in the T-ARA thread.

Another Ilbe 'scandal' broke yesterday. There are a couple of articles on netizenbuzz (and more on most if not all of the Korean news sites) I've spent most of today trying to translate what's going on... they were trending for hours on twitter in Korea today.

I'm not naming purely because I don't feel the need to increase the search results linking the two at this stage but my sig tells you who I'm talking about.

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about doing this photoshopping challenge... it's just with recent events... well lets just say I'm all played out when it comes to scandals (and netizens) conspiring to mess up my weekend (and trying to mess up my girls careers).

Honestly, I almost feel like taking a break from the whole k-pop thing for a while right now.

The original colour for her outfit didn't really match either (so I turned it purple just for the sake of it) What colour do you suggest?
