  1. my god, hyuna already looked great before, esp during red era. heck even in previous eras, any work she may have had done looked great on her yeah, she's already had work during this era but she still looked good with it. she rlly didn't need to alter her face further.
  2. btw guys, is there actually any way we can tell apart facial bloating from a face with a lot of fillers/botox?
  3. i also noticed ryujin on the far right in the 2019 photo: her ribs are not visible whereas in the 2022 one, her ribs are more visible, despite doing similar poses. her waist is a lot smaller in the 2022 one as well. interesting to note that her arms are still the same as it was in 2019 tho (it even looks quite toned/muscular, esp in comparison to yuna's)... from the looks of it, she only lost weight from the waist down.
  4. speaking of ryujin, i rlly do think she started losing weight during not shy era (she still looked a bit more full during wannabe era). the knee shorts that she wore in the mv highlighted how skinnier her legs had gotten compared to the older eras (except dalla dalla bc she looked skinnier there too). i don't understand what could've caused her to just start shedding weight back to her dalla dalla body (or even skinnier than that) tho, since as far as i know, she was highly praised for her curvy figure even when she was in her fullest, and i don't think i ever recalled any netizen giving her shit for it.
  5. has anyone posted abt this story? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-55941894.amp here's a photo. open at ur own risk. it's jarring how she still somehow considered herself ugly when she's far from it. she also said she wanted a smaller jaw bc whenever she'd see herself on camera, she would think that her face was too "big." if only someone told her it's all just facial distortion brought abt by the camera's focal length, not bc her face is actually big .
  6. here, i made a trace. rlly tried my best to keep my hand still but alas, this is the best i can do. there's a gradual change in shape (the shape of the nostrils of the first nose is a lot more teardrop shaped, then gradually starts becoming a bit rounder). i would use remini on this pic but remini has a reputation for botching up photos but if you are interested in seeing it anyway, here's what it looked like when i tried running it under the app:
  7. you know, even if didn't mention tzuyu or any of your faves this time, somehow i'm not even surprised you chose this time to emerge from the sewers. how's it down there pennywise? also, it's rich seeing you say "throwing a childish fit" when ur literally notorious in this thread for clowning posts that bring ur faves up. sorry to tell you this but you're not marginally better than you think you are. also, i wouldn't be surprised if you're the one clowning most of my posts just for the sake of clowning. i mean... it's just so on brand for you — it's so you. but anyways, since i'm feeling nice enough today, i'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and ignore that theory and just assume it's different ppl alright, you (and the others who clowned my post) rlly don't think the photo i posted is a sign of an alarplasty scar? ok. fine. sure. okey dokey. whatever floats your metaphorical boats. and that's literally why i posted the third pic, not only to prove the scars this time, but to prove that she's had an alarplasty overall. this time, even if they don't see the cuts in the collage pic, the change in the nostril size and shape is obvious. and mind you? i posted that photo right after the first clown react, so i don't know how the others that added more clown reacts expect themselves to explain that without sounding like an utter madman. anyways, i have nothing more to say to you. go back to luring children in the sewers.
  8. sejeong's alarplasty scar is obv here: zoomed in w/ a circle: EDIT: did somebody seriously clown this lmaooo, you blind as fuck i'll insert a better one then: there, you happy now, random clown? if you still can't see it, have an optometrist check your eyes EDIT 2: welp, looks like i might've riled up the 'sejeong is natural' truthers
  9. thank you for putting it easily into words. while netizens do perpetuate them, they didn't create those standards or expectations in the first place. it was basically started by the "elite" (pretty general term i know) which was eventually forced on us via conditioning: being conditioned that only people with those features are pretty, and that we are supposed to want those features. perhaps the only way the cycle can be broken is to start valuing one's natural appearance and acknowledging that there is nothing wrong with our own features. basically "don't fix it if it ain't broke." if your body parts/organs are still functional and working together to keep you alive, there really is no need to tweak it.
  10. tbh, i may have to disagree with the "create their expectations" part and the "their standards" part. while i would like to further expound as to why i do, it would be a very long ass paragraph (or paragraphs) that would prolly take a long ass time to scroll down, and i rlly do not have the energy rn to type out such a thing. and since you already mentioned that you have no intention of arguing abt this, i will respect that. to each their own.
  11. while that's a pretty nice sentiment and all, something abt that seems hypocritical. they could at least practice what they preach before actually preaching it. like what if they are out there telling or encouraging ppl to love themselves, but then those ppl they actually ask them for help or advice on how to love oneself? how can they help when they can't and don't even know how?... the effort is empty, pretty useless and falls short. basically, you can't help people when you don't even know how to help yourself.
  12. when you think abt it, there's something quite dystopian abt how facial and body features can trend and eventually become "outdated/out of style" just like fashion/styles/clothing. maybe it's bc it feels those parts of the body are treated like typical objects you can just throw away when you're either bored or don't like them anymore.
  13. his jaw and chin reminds me a bit of yoona's jawline... but it's hard to tell what exactly is happening.
  14. lmao not the salty ass fans threatened at sullyoon's possible ps. the comments there are the reason why more ppl really need to talk abt ps in kpop. they keep on falling for the media play orchestrated by companies regarding the so called natural beauties of their idols.
  15. wouldn't be surprised if it was media play. starship likes to push her forward; they're not rlly slick. perhaps it's another way to hide the growing amount of comments abt her alarmingly thin body: hide the negative comments with "positive" ones.
  16. trends come and go though, and i don't think thick, full lips are an exception. back then, the trend was basically having a small ass, and now any girl with them is mocked and called "flat" and stuff bc having a big ass is all the rage. also, some ppl have pointed out that most of the beauty trends rn are based on features you can naturally see on people of color, esp women and i'm inclined to agree. it's predicted that asian features are going to be the next in the list, what with the growing popularity of cat eyes/fox eyes/slanted eyes (which is a feature usually associated with asians), and it's going to worsen with the growing popularity of kpop so we might witness more and more ppl trying to adapt the softer and more petite aesthetic of asians.
  17. i kinda find it ironic that their agency gives them songs abt self love but encourages them to get ps...
  18. idk but i have a lot of suspicion towards her nose, although the photo u posted seems to be an official photo from hybe so it could photoshopped to hell and back. on a side note, she looks a bit like shuhua.
  19. i rlly can't wait for it to end i'm tired of seeing everyone and their mama with unnatural balloon lips... even my bias joined in and tbh, it doesn't rlly suit her. i just hope she's just at a "trying it out" stage and stops when it dissolves. anyways, thank you very much kardashians-jenners, esp kylie jenner, for your legacy
  20. naurrrrrrrrrr even my bias has joined the lip filler trend i want the person who started the sausage lips trend arrested for crimes against humanity her current lips is just throwing off her facial harmony imo, damn... miss xu jiaqi, why would you do this to yourself
  21. this is why i'll never be okay with minors debuting in kpop. sure, this has happened before, but it wasn't as frequent. we are literally getting more and more groups with all-minor members. although they are closer to my age, i literally stan like zero groups from 4th gen.
