yeah, amber has a pretty strong mindset and sense of self from what i can gather. she's prolly had ppl from the agency suggest she get ps but we all know how she is. she even called out that guy who said sulli needed to lose weight on her arms. she and shuhua are kinda alike in that they call out ppl's bs. not sure abt sulli tho, since amber is the only f(x) member i know the most abt.

that's the thing tho: in this recent generation, they are literally debuting more and more minors, all of whom are naïve and eager to please and have very fragile self-esteem (teenhood is literally the stage where teens are still trying to discover themselves and forming their sense of identity, so they are very malleable to manipulation of any sort). it's also hard to get any support when, in some agencies, trainees' phones are literally confiscated so they can't contact their loved ones any time, and it's prolly hard to see their families/parents frequently when trainee schedules are already packed.

I think Seohyun, Tiffany, Key, Seulgi, Jisoo, Felix, Amber & Krystal come under this category.

btw, i remember someone mentioned beomgyu recently and when i was scrolling through twitter i saw those pics. the eyelid area looks very shiny and made me think "is he wearing double eyelid tape to change his lid shape?" since they look deeper sometimes but maybe its just my eyes and i need to wear my glasses more often lmao

the shiny area over his eyelid reminded me of those glue type of the eyelid tape

yeah, i think he is wearing eyelid tape. my bias wears it too so i kinda know what it looks like.

if you look closely at her closed lids, you can see a shimmery film/strip across her eyelids.

in the third pic, if u zoom in, you can see something peculiar sticking out in between her eyelids. the lighting in the fourth photo also makes the tape obvious.

if you see these things in your biases' eyelids, chances are they are wearing eyelid tape.

i think he's gotten lip fillers, and maybe subtle eyelid surgery. as for his nose... he got included in kpoprocedure's post abt idols with subtle rhinoplasties, so i think he may have had his nostrils tweaked as well.

okay so i just found out there's a surgery for lip reduction (which i def think wasn't possible). it's called reduction cheiloplasty.

i feel you. i've said this before but not everyone just suits thick lips (and i have thick lips myself). my bias recently got lip fillers and her vibes have totally changed; she went from having this elegant queenly vibe to... looking like your common ig model/influencer girlie (don't get me wrong, she's still gorgeous tho, but there was rlly nothing wrong with her thin lips). i just kinda wish she hadn't gotten them bc she totally rocked thin lips.

a bit unrelated but... am i the only one who is genuinely terrified of surgery (not just cosmetic surgery but surgery in general)? the thought of having some part of my body getting cut open or cut off, or foreign stuff like implants inserted in my body rlly gives me the heebie jeebies... i remember when i was young i had a problem with my appendix and when the doctor said there's a possibility of getting surgery for appendix removal (thankfully it healed by itself so it never happened) i started bawling my eyes out; i had watched waaaaayyyy too many dramas where a character dies in the middle of surgery. it makes me wonder if any of the idols (esp the ones rlly forced to get ps) ever fear possibly getting botched or even have something go wrong in the middle of the surgery...

yeah he does get nasal bridge fillers from time to time to smooth out his nose and add a bit of height to his bridge...

kinda reminds me of chanyeol's nose: he had a more hooked nose back then, but he would get bridge fillers periodically to smooth out the bridge. he doesn't seem to do it anymore since his bridge looks bumpy again (i like his bumpy nose way better tbh )

i think about of people might immediately think jaw based on the yearbook but she does a visible mandible (last pic) but a soft jawline. i don't see changes to her nose. the first pic is not very clear so it's difficult to say about her eyelids. maybe i would suspect inner corners? just based on her insta lately but also i've seen photos from all different time periods where her inner corners actually do look like that. again could be editing or a makeup trick??? also sorry if these aren't good photos showing enough, it's really hard to find pictures that aren't likely heavily photoshopped or airbrushed.

i have a feeling she may have had a subtle buccal fat removal? her face, esp in the lower area, seemed fuller before (basing off the school pic) but now looks a bit flatter/slimmer in the recent ones. but tbh, i don't rlly keep up with her as an idol so it could be just weight loss...

yeah, that is more common to happen with silicone implants if i am not mistaken. which is why surgeons say that implants made out of bone (such as the rib) are a lot better bc they tend to give better results (and they integrate into the body better bc the body does not recognize it as a foreign object).

Rachel was my bias in April and her nose surgery was indeed severe, plus super dated, it was the type of "penis nose" we were seeing everywhere in the early 2010's. Guess DSP doesn't even have enough money to pay for a surgeon who uses up-to-date techniques...

Yea I think Minnie is largely natural besides the nose. She actually kept her natural proportions very well and looks very similar without makeup (makeup transforms her look a lot). I like that she still looks obviously Thai and hasn't tried to make herself look too pointy. I especially like her nose, before and after.

I actually think Soyeon looks great for the amount of work she has had. I can't really knock it but I do hope she knows when to stop and how to properly maintain her surgeries (artificial ages differently than natural).

tbh i just think her chin looks obv unnatural, like she could've opted for a custom chin implant that would've elongated her chin yet made it suit her at the same time, instead of the typical dorito chin implant. and she could chill out with the facial fillers as well, bc i noticed that her facial expressions are quite restrained at times.

whatever minnie may have done, it was subtle and well done... soyeon should've rlly taken notes...
