what i've been saying. and it doesn't suit some of them since some of their faces are structured in a way that accommodates smaller lips only, so if they were to get lip fillers, it would throw off their facial balance.

looks like typical fillers and botox to me. for female idols that are sooyoung's age, they are considered "old" (don't you love some good ol' ageism? ) so it wouldn't be surprising if she's done them. her face is pretty shiny too, esp her forehead area... they say if a certain area of someone's face is unusually shiny, then they most likely have fillers injected there or an implant inserted. i wonder if she got forehead filler/botox or an implant.

on one hand, this might keep real ppl, such as the idols we have now, from being further exploited and pressured to be perfect bc now that they have virtual idols to take advantage of, what's the use of hiring real ppl to be idols? at least they won't have to worry abt their idols getting into scandals, getting exhausted, or saying no, right?

do you mean her chin is somehow jutting downwards, like it's separating from her face? if so, then it could be bc nayeon has quite a weak chin. or it could be chin ptosis. my bias' chin behaves similarly to nayeon's, as in her chin tends to protrude whenever she smiles, but when she doesn't, it goes back to normal. i also thought my bias had a chin implant, but turns out she's had that sharp, jutting chin since childhood. there are just chins that behave a little differently from others. here's a sample photo:

althought it commonly affects older ppl, it can happen to younger folks as well, albeit rarely. here's an example of someone whose chin protrudes when she smiles (seems the patient isn't very old too):

so yeah, it's not necessarily bc of a chin implant (idk if chin implants are even supposed to do that, bc most of the time, they are supposedly drilled to prevent movement, but idk...)

whoever nana's surgeon is, i think they did a nice job with her overall, but i do wish she could've just left her face alone after the initial procedures.

personally, I don't think she had a jaw shave. it's botox and something to do with the chin, plus her eyes and her nose. her lower cheeks look fuller, which might be the reason why her face has changed from the angular 2014 little to no fat in the lower cheek/above jaw area to a rounder, softer lower face.

i'm so interested to see what you guys have to say here.

for nana's nose... i don't think she may have had anything done to her bridge, but she focused on the tip of her nose and nostrils instead: perhaps she had it narrowed and then rotated upwards, made it look sharper and more refined. i thought she had a nasal implant too but reconsidered upon seeing her nose bump so maybe the nose tip is the biggest factor here.

as for her jaw, i have no doubt she's gotten masseter botox, and i def don't think she's gotten a jaw shave (not even the one that leaves the mandible alone). she recently did an ig live and upon observing her face, esp cheeks, i think she got a combination of fillers and botox (esp her forehead and in between her brows, prolly to reduce scrunching) to her face. i noticed she made an expression that would normally make the area in between her brows move and scrunch, but the area stayed stiff.

irene's nose during debut vs recently:

i noticed her nostrils during her debut year had a much wider letter U shape and now they're sporting a narrower letter U shape. looking at the first photo as well, there seems to be no scarring whereas the second photo there is slight scarring (more obv on the right side but quite hard to see on the left due to the shadow). it seems she may have had her nostrils narrowed sometime after debut and not before debut as i had initially believed.

ik the last one isnt the most flattering, but it sort of shows what i mean by plasticky i think. i feel like it would look less severe if the blush wasnt so extreme. also im not sure if its weird contouring/highlighting but it sort of looks like you can see the outline of her nose implant in these.

 

 

i rlly do not like the blush they give nayeon all the time it looks so unblended and makes her look more uncanny... it's the kind of blush you see on those old porcelain dolls:

i think somebody in this thread said smth along the lines of "you can only create a suzy out of a suzy," (not sure if this was how it was phrased so forgive me) meaning a surgeon can never turn anyone else into a suzy (lookalike) or recreate her looks on someone else bc they were not born to be suzy. they can tweak features all they want but at the end of the day, genetics still reign supreme.

to be exact, apparently she was experimenting on chin filler and then decided to make it permanent by getting a chin implant.

- Nosejob,  straightening some honestly benign crookedness  and then at the least a threaded nosejob to lift it so my tip is slightly less drooping.  I'd actually really be okay with both of those as it would keep everything intact and is just a slight repositioning.

- They could take it a step further and alter or get rid of my soft hook that you can see at certain angles or change my tip. Potentially filler or implant to bridge to make it even stronger.

- Lip filler and or lift for top lip to reduce a little philtrum space. 

- I can't decide if they'd suggest a chin + wing implant or not as my jawline is square but not overtly strong, and my chin is a little blunt. I don't think they'd suggest any jaw botox

- Partial or full buccal fat removal and maybe neck contour; whatever Felix had done, my cheeks are similar to his OG ones, which I'm thankful for as it shaves 6-10+ years off. 

- forehead botox/filler, I have like two wrinkles there

- hairline revision. Not lacking of hair, but could use a boost to de-mature the hairline. 

- Partial or full verneers if you count that as a procedure. Had braces, teeth are straight and look great but still have a gap between my two front teeth, and have some teeth grinding wear on my bottom teeth. I could have the "bunny idol" thing going for the former but for the latter while It's not super noticeable they'd probably want it perfect. Could to cosmetic rebuilding with resin (?), I know that's a thing. 

None of these "problems" particularly bothers me too much, I'm lowkey pretty good looking and get a lot of regular compliments about it, but the fact I'm able to conjure/consider these ""potential" faults and fixes according to their standards is actually really fascinating! It's super toxic, honestly. Like, a lot of these boys and girls don't stand a chance, how quick you can fall down a slope of picking out things to make changes to. It's also a good reminder that most "normal" people can easily become stunning when you have the personal money and or private funding (company) to do so. It's not a surprise you have rich celebrities becoming lowkey addicted to plastic surgery - they have the backing to every whim of any and all perceived flaw.

In 2020, her nose is noticeable slimmer than years before & after. I assume she had fillers, which was discussed in this thread back around ICSM era especially after the teaser photos dropped. And add it also depends on the way ahe posed, if the photos are taken upward (looking up her nose) her nose looks pinned up. Looking from the front her nose is looks round & button. Example:

the last photo in the 2022 section tho... her upper cheeks are jumping out/protruding in a way that i've never seen before, even on naturally full faces. even during my chubbier years, my cheeks have never done that before. that kinda screams excessive filler to me. she needs to lay off the fillers or else she's going to experience filler fatigue
