nawwwww, all these articles solely hyperfixating on her visuals and her visuals only... no wonder she had to get PS and is trying to keep her weight dangerously low

i reckon she feels constant pressure to always look good bc it's what will get ppl to keep talking abt her...

he's actually been used as an example by kpoprocedure for a pollybeak nose deformity. it is a phenomenon in which the supratip (area above the tip) is overprojected/overly prominent. it is one of the most common post-op nose deformities.

i would need better photos but i def suspect a nose job and subtle epicanthoplasty (his eyes seem a tad bit wider to me). i would suspect a double eyelid surgery too but it's probably just eyelid tape (in the second to the last photo in the last set, it looks like there's something shiny sticking out in between his eyelid folds...)

Unnecessary veneers aside, this is a very... unflattering photo of Yuna. Hoping it's been edited to hell and back because that nostril show, and quite frankly the entire nosejob, is criminal. I'm not too familiar with her as I don't keep up with Itzy and I'm hoping she doesn't look this gangam unnie-ified in real life. Such unnecessary work on such a young person, especially considering she had such an already pretty face to begin with.
i actually got this from idolsgeneration on tumblr so i'm not sure if this is from a fansite (which are known to overedit idols)... that aside, yeah, i do agree. unnecessary nosejob, unnecessary veneers... rlly sad.

all the idols that seem to be getting them lately are either idols associated with being a bunny, known for having a gummy smile or both (nayeon, scoups, yuna) what's going on
fans LOVE them for those traits so erasing the uniqueness is especially strange for me in that case
yeah i noticed... also, i remember yuna used to have a more prominent gummy smile and now it's... less obvious, less "gummy," as demonstrated by the photo i posted.

speaking of veneers... i feel like yuna recently got them too...
correct me if i'm wrong, but i feel like her teeth look a bit more balanced in terms of size now than before... but at the same time, they look too big for her mouth.

the lip filler...
looks freshly injected too judging by the presence of twin lumps on her bottom lip...

the way it's mostly unnecessary work...

my friend always says that 1 nosejob is already enough and that the second nosejob is the "evil" one bc it's the one that will either make or break (mostly break) your facial harmony

okay guys... yuna, hip pads cool-sculpting etc.. DEBUNKED. this is yuna just a few days ago and its clear her hips are a normal size, not voluptuous at all. not sure what she did that day of her "you go girl" performance, but its clear her hips don't look big.
i wish we had a better angle tho... now if her hips are indeed on the skinnier side and not curvacious as what we've been led to believe... is it possible that the performance may have had filters then? makes me think back to the time they put filters on my bias' face to make her jaw slimmer during an interview

it was a blink don't miss it moment but i managed to catch the filter glitching...

Yeah that makes a lot of sense but for some reason I have never seen a kpop idol with veneers that suit them. I don't know they usually tend to usually be big on their frames, like with Nayeon and even with Joy to an extent.
I remember there was one idol on a reality show who said because of veneers his teeth were cracked and hurt.
Hyein (NewJeans) got veneers anywhere from 12-13. Yujin got them at 16. J got them at 17. All had really normal teeth and while I understand the appeal it seems to be becoming a trend that I feel is unnecessary.
i'm guessing having big veneers is a trend for them? they must be into broader smiles. the bigger the veneers, the broader the smile, i guess. it does look very unsettling to me tho

i doubt it's puberty. girls' puberty usually end at ages 14-16, and she was 15 when she debuted. and even if puberty did have a hand, it doesn't work like what we're seeing with yuna. the hip shape i had when i was 15 is still the same hip shape i have now; my hips did not go from being square shaped to pear or hourglass/curvy shaped. pretty sure the fans saying this are one of those that have been deluded to think puberty will give every girls big breasts and wide hips with little to no knowledge of the different body types (i know this bc i had this phase too

). and if i'm correct... well, these girls are in for a rude awakening when they hit adulthood.

Fans usually like some unique features, especially when they're already familiar with the idols (like Nayeon's teeth) right? Those are the changes that I just don't understand. It's so sad that there is this one standard and everyone tries to fit in. The obsession with so called perfection. In the beginning of 4th gen everyone said that it's getting better, that there will be more diversity in terms of body types, skin color and features but it went into the opposite direction.
I think it's true that part of the problem is fans praising these "extremes". So many consider Karina the most beautiful 4th gen idol and were obsessed with Yuna's U go girl stage, that establishes unrealistic standards (as much as I don't blame those girls or fans individually! It's just part of the machine)
I think more fans are admitting now that their faves got something done? Like Enhypen stans last year. But this normalising has pros and cons as well. I don't want people to feel ashamed, but I don't think ps should be about following trends and everyone feeling pressured to get something done either. If that makes sense lol
speaking of nayeon's teeth... perhaps the reason why she might've felt the need to balance out her teeth may be bc of twice's concept change? i noticed that twice is moving toward more mature concepts, and nayeon prolly felt the need to make her looks match the concept. she maybe thought that her bunny teeth looked too "childish" for their recent concepts. it certainly worked wonders and added to her childish/youthful charm back when twice was doing cute concepts, but she prolly felt the need to do away with it now so she can shed the cute image. just my two cents.

not sure if this could necessarily be a chin implant. we would need actual side by side before and after photos of her for better judgment. my mom's and baby sister's chins naturally look like this, and it's bc they have this so called "chin ptosis" which is a phenomenon in which chins extend downward due to some sort of laxity or weakness in the muscle in that area? (can't remember the explanation). so whenever they smile or they make certain facial expressions, it makes their chins jut downwards, looking like an implant has been inserted.

Upon watching some variety shows from both China and Korea, I noticed that, sometimes, there seems to be a pair (usually a male and female celebrity) that is seemingly pushed by the show as some sort of a "couple" on-screen. I kinda noticed this when Luhan and Dilraba were paired together in Keep Running, and I think the same happened to Lucas and Yuqi as well. Do these variety shows actually ask these celebs to act like a couple based on a script for PR/promotion purposes or what? Because these shows are usually considered by many to be, well, unscripted. I've also heard some users here say the same thing about how a male celeb and a female celeb are asked to play a "couple" for viewership boost.

... except in the second picture he's wearing makeup? if his waterline is overlined it could give the illusion that the eye shape is different. the guy hasn't changed a bit from his elementary/middle school days. makeup can work miracles y'all
i think kpoprocedure over-diagnoses their specimens sometimes, they're not any more accurate than your average poster on the thread imo
i have several questions though: like how would you even know he's wearing makeup in only one of the photos? the photos have been cropped down a lot. for all we know, he could be wearing makeup in both. conversely, he could be barefaced in both of them.
would you mind giving me any sample photos to demonstrate that phenomenon? as much i know makeup is a miracle tool (when used by actual skilled hands), i have doubts esp bc kpop makeup artists aren't exactly known for being "miracle workers" and have been known to give idols crappy foundation that don't match their skin, unblended blush, cheap looking lashes, obviously overlined lips (and conversely, painting foundation/bb cream around idols' lip lines) and those godawful short and straight brows that aren't even properly blended in (and most of the time don't even suit the idols), so forgive me for not believing that.

i genuinely do think mark has gotten an epicanthoplasty (a very minor one). these were the two photos that convinced me. (excuse the crappy lines, had to draw them as an additional guide; the one above is the after photo used by kpoprocedure in their post, with the below photo as the before):
aside from the tear duct exposure, i also try to check if there is a change of shape and angle to the inner eye corners. his inner eye corners used to be a lot blunter, but now has a slightly stretched, sharper look to it.
i also remember back in the previous pages, he was also speculated to use nose fillers to smoothen his nose from time to time.

I feel like this is one of the reasons why ppl assume he’s natural, actually. whenever someones features aren’t completely symmetrical or they have visual ”flaws” (like his nose bump, as an example) you sort of assume that they haven’t undergone any surgery since ps is mainly a tool to ”fix” percieved imperfections. i think the biggest reason why ppl assume he’s ps free is probably bc of his personality, though. he has a very down-to-earth, somewhat awkward vibe to him that makes him feel very ”normal” & ppl assume that someone like that wouldn’t get surgery. we have a lot of preconceptions abt ppl who get ps done & whenever ppl dont fit those we assume that they have to be natural (some other examples wld be seulgi, wonwoo, chaeyoung from Twice & zendaya). like, people who have had or want to get ps aren’t inherently bad or vain or whatever.
most ppl also assume that idols who were born naturally beautiful/attractive don't get plastic surgery either (cue the "she/he was already pretty/handsome so why would she need plastic surgery???

") and that plastic surgery is apparently only for the "ugly" which is not entirely the vase. that's probably one of the reasons why fans get pissed when their faves are accused of ps, bc to them it implies their biases are not "pretty enough" or are ugly, but they fail to realize that for kpop standards, nobody is ever pretty enough.

For real though, enough of this uninspired lowrise jeans and vaguely "punk" fashion, let's bring this shit back (ignore the predator):
bring back the visual kei, bring back the maximalist aesthetics of 2000s and 2010s kpop (everyone hates it but i love aespa's stupid futuristic concept, it's so kpop)!
(love how Changmin looks like he wants to die in every photo from this era)
this kind of fashion was rlly popular in the late 1st gen to the height of second gen. but heaven forbid a third or fourth gen getting caught with this kind of styling, fans are gonna go riot before that even happens

i noticed that if an idol just dresses even a little "eccentrically" new fans call it bad styling
edit: also, who is the predator you are referring to? idk the tea...
edit 2: nvm, it's park yoochun isn't it?

karina's epicanthoplasty work is jarringly obvious
if you were to look closely at the inner corner of her right eye, you can even see where they made the cut
