    i know she's not exactly a kpop idol, but to those who watched youth with you 2, have y'all heard of joey chua? apparently this is what she used to look like: her procedures were def well done.

    it's known that yoona has most notably had a jaw shave surgery. there was also someone who talked abt her getting a forehead implant some pages back (her forehead was suspiciously shiny in a particular spot). she's also gotten a nose job to slim down her nose a bit (she had a much wider nose with a flat bulbous tip). her nose used to be a bit flatter as well, so i suspect she may have gotten a nose implant or just nose filler to the bridge and the tip.

    y'all should see quora and their answers to questions like "is there a female kpop idol/actress that is 100% natural?" so many naïve fans are mentioning irene and even YOONA of all ppl as examples the fact that those questions even exist is proof that there are still a lot of ppl who can't fathom or process that kpop idols/actresses will inevitably get work done, no matter how small it may be.

    i think it's bc visuals are more of a focus now than it was before. also, notice how we have lots of idols who have more to show visual wise than skill/talent wise. i also remember in music shows back in the 2nd gen/early 3rd gen that idols weren't so whitewashed compared to now. that's why idols get ps that elevate their visuals to godlike levels instead of simple, natural procedures.

    srsly not everyone is meant to have thick lips. i stan a cpop idol who has naturally thin and dainty lips and she looks rlly stunning. but when she used a lip plumper (idk if it was filler considering her lips were thin again the next few days) for a photoshoot, i had to admit that it looked unnatural and uncanny on her, it looked like she had an allergic reaction. she also has a tendency of overlining her lips, which rlly doesn't suit her. thin lips are just as beautiful as thick lips (coming from someone who has thick lips as well).

    the thing is, lorry does say that her video is just speculation and not 100% factual, so there's still leeway for her to make errors in analysis, meaning anything in her video should be taken with a grain of salt and not be considered as gospel truth bc she acknowledges that she could be wrong abt them, and she allows ppl to disagree w her analyses. that's why she puts those disclaimers in her videos in the first place. even if she does turn out to be wrong abt her analysis on doja all along, she never claimed her observations as 100% correct in the first place. had she said that her celeb analysis videos were 100% truth and factual, then she deserves the criticism for not considering those factors and for being possibly inaccurate. but she didn't.

    srsly, she must've had some rlly personal personal reason for getting ps which is why she was so affected. most celebs would just brush off these speculations or keep lying and go abt their merry ways, but doja rlly went off. i feel like every insult she had told lorry was a projection of herself.

    insecurity maybe? doja is mixed (white mother, black father). she may have gotten some passing comments from her white mom (prolly unknowingly) abt her black features which may have prompted her to get work done, esp a nose job. ofc i'm not saying that this is truly the case, but my friend (who's mixed as well) has experienced this. it seems to be common for mixed kids to feel insecurity over their non-white features, and doja has admitted to feeling insecure from time to time over her black features... it doesn't help that doja is estranged from her father, who could've helped her to be more proud of her black features.

    imo, celebs def have a right to keep it to themselves, but they rlly shouldn't lie abt it either. if they don't want to spill then they can just ignore questions and keep the ppl guessing...

    tbh, they prolly have, but they're just not ready to admit it to the world yet. i'm getting the impression that the whole thing abt ps may have been a sore spot for doja, esp her nose job. you know how she has a white mother and a black father right? she may have gotten some passing comments from her white mom (prolly unknowingly) abt her black features which may have prompted her to get a nose job. ofc i'm not saying that this is truly the case, but apparently my friend (who's mixed) has experienced this. anyways, that video might have struck a nerve. most celebs just tend to ignore speculations and go abt their merry ways (i'm surprised lorry didn't get hailey on her ass as well, since hailey has once threatened a surgeon legal action iirc)...

    i think kpoprocedure mentions pic no.7 as a reference for the cheek fillers. i can see what they are talking about tho. on the left side, yoon's face seems a lot narrower, whereas on the right, it's slightly fuller/more bloated.

    when i caught a glimpse of lily's nose in one of their teasers, i instantly knew her nose wasn't natural bc it looked too tall and overprojected to actually be natural.

    btw, speaking of fansites, aside from whitewashing idols, are there fansites that have edited idols features, such as making their eyes look bigger or their noses look slimmer?
