    that's the harsh reality of kpop imo the center position should be given to the person who has strong and interesting presence and can easily get the attention of the audience with merely their performance. not every visual is just very interesting to look at performance wise.

    the comparison confused me so much bc on the left her nose looked so projected (esp the tip) compared to the one on the right, so i had the impression that the fansite ended up making her nose bridge higher than it is.

    i wouldn't be surprised. they prolly need all that media play considering their wack ass debut. i'm still mad jype gave them such a terrible song to sing to, now it has given so many ppl a bad impression of them. also, yuna being jealous of sullyoon?... kinda weird to think abt.

    i remember when she blocked someone on ig who commented that she's had ps. that commenter happened to be responding to a fan of dove who said she wanted to look like her. i feel sorry for her fans. like they wanna look like her but are unaware of the stuff she's got done to her face to look like how she is today.

    i know he's technically not a kpop idol anymore but luhan seems to be looking a lot more... different/off nowadays. he seems to be looking a little more... bloated or pillow faced lately? i'm not sure if it is just the makeup or just him aging or gaining more weight (which i'm not sure since he seems to be still as skinny as he used to be) but sometimes he looks like he got a lot of filler... the upper photo is him in his exo days, while the bottom is him in more recent years: edit: he seems to have gotten an epicanthoplasty too

    i've seen a predebut photo of him and he seems to have gotten eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty (someone also said that he may have had an implant inserted in his nose)

    yeah i do know idols edit their pics a lot. i just mentioned fansites bc all i know is that they do tend to whitewash idols, but i just didn't think they'd go as far as to give idols slimmer jawlines or, heck, even edit their noses to look not just slimmer but even higher than it is.

    now this is interesting. sullyoon's nose photoshopped to look higher and sharper? has anyone including fansites done this to an idol? her nose does somehow look less high on the right...

    if you look at her side profile, she is indeed missing her jaw mandible, but perhaps the reason why it looks quite natural/the results don't look too obvious esp at the front is most likely bc she had a pretty short jaw already, so the doctors prolly didn't have much to shave off. compare sejeong's jaw to wendy's jaw here. sejeong, from the looks of it, already had a pretty short/small face, which can explain why her jaw shave result seems to be less obv/drastic. wendy, on the other hand, seemed to have had a much longer face, hence the more dramatic looking result. at least that's what i think.

    somebody already posted this pic but imma post it again. i saw this pic of sejeong back when i used to lurk in this thread: this was during her album promotions for "i'm" in 2021, judging by the background. i was shocked with how different she looked compared to her earlier idol days. all of the procedures she's been getting has been slowly aging her. she rlly needs to slow down with the botox and the fillers

    with all of these talks of procedures in kpop, i very much fear and oppose rlly young idols debuting tbh. having watched a few snippets of my teenage girl, i couldn't but notice that some of the girls look quite... uncanny and they're still so young...

    invasive or non invasive, it still falls under cosmetic/plastic surgery. fillers and botox still count as work done, so even if they may not have done anything invasive, they're not natural either. gotta keep them faces youthful and wrinkle free

    dang... he used to have a very strong, angular chin and jawline... i can see changes on his chin, jaw, nose bridge, and his cheeks. kpop is way too obsessed with giving everyone soft youthful looks, like cmon, sculpted angular faces are great too!! not everybody needs to have soft, plump cheeks. i hate to see idols with such great bone structure getting fillers to cover up all of that or having their features like high cheekbones or strong jaws shaved off (rip irene's cheekbones). it makes them lose their uniqueness and gives them the plain yet uncanny cookie cutter idol face
