yes... apparently even in some pics idols' kneecaps are being photoshopped. beauty standards esp in kpop has rlly hit a new low that even kneecaps are unsightly to look at

yes, it might be a lot better and more convenient than surgery, however it honestly still contributes to body image issues their own fans might be facing, and it is not just bc fans don't know idols are wearing them. even if fans did know that idols are wearing them, the notion that idols are wearing them in the first place to get a curvier shape can still send the unhealthy message that non-hourglass/pear body types are undesirable/ugly. that's why i rlly don't like paddings either way.
