I really don't like the idea of "well X group had members debut at a young age too!" like, that doesn't make it okay. It's not just people being anti HYBE, it's that a LOT of people are questioning the decision to debut 14-15 year old members recently and acknowledging that it wasn't good in the past, either. When IVE leeseo debuted a lot of people were vocally against her debuting so young, same with with Wonyoung in iz*one, pd48 fans were not happy with the decision to debut a 13(?) year old, let alone her job as a center of the group. (Aside from people who were just salty their bias didn't make the cut). A lot of attention is going to NewJeans right now especially cause of min heejin being a creep, cookie as a whole, etc. It's not just one thing, it's multiple things that are alarming!! Edited to add that I don't think anyone should be expected to boycott the group or not listen to their songs but I think its OK to raise an eyebrow at the decisions made by min heejin and we *should* be placing emphasis on the fact that if companies are gonna debut members so young, they NEED to have extra precautions in place to protect the girls safety, mental health and not take away their youth from them.

I can totally see it, she’s absolutely stunning and has great energy while performing -
The lowest/minimum age someone should be to become a part* time trainee in kpop should be either 16 or 17 and they should only be able to become a full time trainee OR debut once they either graduate highschool or turn 18. I've seen many people say that it's okay for kpop idols to debut young since 14,15 etc year olds are able to have jobs but working 10 hours a week in a retail or fast food shop is 10000% different than having to live in a shitty dorm, train 10+ hours a day and have your whole life controlled by a company while having to be on strict diets.

I lovee this performance and just hypeboy in general. The dance is so upbeat and it just looks like they have fun performing it

I used to lurk a lot on OH for yrs before I actually made an account. Compared to reddit, I prefer how I can have my cute little avatar, some stickers etc and I can have some pretty level headed conversations here, unlike the reddit where you get instantly downvoted for praising a group like BP or getting your post mass reported by antis for posting a popular groups content. Stan twt is absolutely insane and I won't even attempt to interact. OH reminds me a bit of kpop tumblr esp back when I used to use it. It feels like the demographic of this site is older than stan twt and reddit which I like as well! Everyone is pretty friendly and welcoming

The girls look SO good. Jennie is giving me widowmaker vibes (from overwatch). I'm so excited! -
I’d rather have a definite position group where everyone atleast has their own niche and their own moments to shine, also saves the group from fanwars LOL. Look at Ive for example: they are a group with no set positions yet all of their fans argue over who is the main vocal between Liz and yujin, who’s the main dancer between gaeul and yujin, etc. Atleast with a definite position group, everyone knows who is who. I also think that members can always improve their weaknesses with time, practice and experience

As long as the veneers are placed and sealed/glued over the natural teeth properly, your teeth would be fine. For foods you just have to be careful with foods like apples and raw carrots! but note that i don't have veneers but know someone who does, LOL. Also danielle definitely has veneers, they're very obvious in their performances. I'm not a big fan of them, she's very very pretty but I don't think her veneers look good.- 26,514 replies

what's your opinion regarding make-up for male idols
sour candy replied to Belkiss's topic in Celebrity Photos & Videos
I'm all for male idols wearing bolder makeup, they're gonna be wearing a bunch of makeup regardless - it's just a matter of how obvious it looks -

NewJeans' debut is the biggest after Blackpink
sour candy replied to Belkiss's topic in Charts and Sales
I've been listening to hype boy and attention a lot. i think their Y2K concept is great and something about the group feels really fresh and fun! In my eyes, their debut would have been perfect if it wasn't for cookie, some of the outfits in 'attention' and min heejin being a bit creepy. In comparison to le sserafim, I think fearless was not a great debut song and their gym aesthetic for the m/v wasn't it LOL, in addition i think the garam situation stunted a lot of their potential sales and positive hype - I believe they'll be huge for their next comeback. I think newjeans seems like a better cohesive group for me than LSF, too
