  1. the picture you linked is edited tho. They edited out his nose bump. here same era, but unedited photo: edit: here photos of the same shoot/schedule as the photo that was linked:
  2. yeah it's getting harder and harder to even tell what they did because those pictures from early teens aren't reliable anymore. When I first got into kpop the eye + nose surgery were a high school graduation present. Now, those are middle school graduation presents. like, wtf? Times have changed... and fast. They're starting younger and younger. But in this industry and society it's always best to assume that they had something done (even if it's "just" fillers and botox) rather than believe they're all natural. It's just tooo normalized in Korea. If all of your friends and classmates have already done it it's more likely that you'll do it too. Especially when you are surrounded by encouragement (whether that be celebrity images or ads from plastic surgeons being plastered all over the city)
  3. again. I think these two pictures are his two different eyes. Just one image being mirrored. Because his one eye today and back then looked like the first pic and his other eye like the second pic. Why would he only cut his one eye that already had more tear duct exposure just to have a little tiny bit more, and not touch the other eye? SM doesn't really go for asymmetry or natural looks, so i don't think that explanation pulls here. (idk if anyone knows which pics these are from? but one of them also looks like it could be from a photoshoot?) here from his early teens pre-debut. The shape you drew on the now pic is already visible on his one eye even then. The then pic kpoprocedures used is most likely his other eye. and this thread has debunked the nose filler thing a lot of times already? bc we can't seem to really find non-edited pictures for proof.
  4. same tbh. I really don't agree with kpoprocedure's assumptions about Mark. 1st, it's extremely weird that they used his childhood pictures from elementary school for comparison. And 2nd, I think with the eye thing they fell into the trap of comparing his eye with less tear duct exposure with the other one which has more exposure. (these are the photos they used:)
  5. I think the off-putting thing about Mark's eyes is that they are uneven. One of his eyes is slightly more round and the other more almond shaped. The almond shaped one also has a greater tear duct exposure than the other eye. idk if that was caused by surgery or if that's just natural development tho. But the two different looking eyes is also what makes it always so obvious when a picture is mirrored lol he also has this outer crease developing which sometimes shows quite strongly and can make him look uncanny in this picture you can see the different eye-shapes, the one eye having more tear duct exposure, and the outer crease quite well imo:
  6. honestly it seems to be the contact lenses (and the stage make up imo), his eyes look totally normal when he isn't wearing them
  7. as your local exo-l I'm gonna try to provide some pics for suho. before enlistment: after discharge: he definitely looks older imo (shocker... he is in his 30s) his skin doesn't look as smooth as it did before the military (which is probably why his makeup looks so cakey?? idk anything about makeup, sorry). He said that while preparing his album his weight suddenly dropped quite a lot (you can tell that in the jacket shoot and MV he is much skinnier), so then he started working on gaining some weight back. So, his face fluctuated quite a lot this year. I feel like at times his cheeks look a lot fuller I noticed that right away during his first insta live after his discharge. idk if that is caused by weight gain, filler, or ageing though.
  8. she seems to have switched from an in-outline to an outline double-eyelid
  9. ok. I spent a lot of time yesterday looking at Jeno pics don't judge me he is freaking gorgeous and now I'm even more convinced that he doesn't have a chin implant. especially after looking at his pics from when he was a child/or pre-16yo (I doubt he got an implant that early lol) he is a child here but you already see that when he is laughing his chin sticks out more: this was not long before his 16th b-day, and his chin is already pointy af even without smiling for context this is the pic that caused people to say that he has an implant and what my quoted post is responding to: but yeah, another pic from the same night already shows that his chin looks the same as always imo, so ig this is a little reminder to always look at more than just one or two pics when making ps assumptions
  10. I don't think she holds much power or at least not as much as she wishes, but isn't she like a creative director and shareholder in SM? So, I doubt she is planning on leaving. When it comes to PS I'm pretty sure all the decisions are hers. I think it's more her succumbing to the pressure the industry has especially towards "older" women Also, I see it a lot in this thread (and other places too) that people say things like "I wish the company would stop touching xyz idol's face" which is something you can say about idols in their early years, but at some point it's definitely the idols' decision IMO. I mean, i know we like to blame everything on kpop companies, and often times it's correct that companies are the ones "convincing" idols to get xyz done, but sometimes Idols act independently.
  11. I know beauty filters are mentioned in this thread from time to time and omg... I think SM's video editors are really overdoing it lately with the beauty filter/skin smoothing in their video content. It was already quite a lot before but now... it looks like the face is out of focus the entire time. Skin isn't allowed to look like skin at all anymore ig. For comparison; about 6 months ago vs. now
  12. This. I've thought about this a lot, and I keep thinking about the pressure they must have. Especially when their members start getting surgery and get praised for their improved visuals. You often see comments like "wow, I thought they were the visual". I can imagine that really messing with their confidence and that a lot of visual position idols then feel the pressure to undergo procedures to keep their position. since, most of the times (not always obviously), visuals aren't the best vocals, dancers, etc. within their group, so they might feel "disposable" if they aren't clearly the most beautiful in the group? members get more beautiful -> visual feels need to do the same -> other members might feel need to keep up too -> visual feels more pressure... It's like a vicious cycle. idk it's been on my mind a lot.
  13. It was during Black On Black era at the NCT 2018 Fan Party in the segment where they re-wrote their profiles. And yes, I agree with you. I'm pretty sure Mark, Jaemin, Jeno, Chenle are all about the same height (but it's probably 174-175ish, 176 at max), maybe Mark is slightly shorter but not more than 1cm imo
  14. ok. idk if this information is of any help but I know that there are a lot of people online who try to claim that Chenle is 178 or even taller which I highly doubt tbh Back in 2018 on a self-written profile he claimed to be 173.5 .. this was when he was 16, so he could have grown more since then but also keep in mind that most men stop growing much more at around 16/17.(For comparison: in 2018 Jisung revealed (with a photo, this was when he was 16) that his height was 178.8. And now 3 years later it was confirmed that his height is at exactly 180, so between the ages of 17-almost 20 he has only grown 1.2cm. basically most men don't grow much more after turning 16/17, that's what I'm trying to get at) After some years of exaggerating their heights but also calling each other out for it/teasing each other, I feel like the dreamies got a bit more open to admit slightly lower numbers. Like, I think Jeno/Jaemin/Chenle used to say that they are around 177-178, but in 2020 for another self-written profile Chenle wrote down 176 and Jeno 176.8 (Renjun said 171... I honestly give him 170 at most). Jaemin keeps avoiding answering the question about his height. I'm not saying those are their real height but I think they are closer, so maybe 1-2cm less. I need one photo of them standing barefoot in a straight line, please. (Also, I think Yangyang is part of the short-line too. His height fluctuates A LOT but at his shortest he looks almost the same as Ten. I think Yangyang is max 170-171 but idk his height is a huge mystery to me)
  15. Hiii long time lurcker here. When it comes to Jeno's chin I'm not so sure. because he always had a chin that looked different depending on angle, facial expression and camera lens. I mean, if you look at that MAMA pic out of context and only compare it to pics from when he was 17 or younger then yes, it looks like an implant. But the following pics are from 2018 I think, and you can already see his chin becoming more pointy when laughing, and his facial structure wasn't even fully developed yet. I mean, of course he could've gotten the implant with 17/18 already but it still looks like natural progression to me idk. In these 2018 pics (he is 17/18 yo here) he is laughing: and here he isn't laughing but you can still see how it's getting pointier(? english?? more pointy) this is also 2018 btw The chin was always there it just got more pointy when he was 19-21 (this was when he was 19) also, it seems like SM is trying to hide his chin?(or maybe it's an insecurity of his, or I'm reading into things) he mainly poses from the front or has hands covering his chin. And on videos there often are filters as well.... I found one weird filter fail from a behind video: and here is another pic from this years' MAMA and his chin looks as usual. he just has a pointy chin imo. A chin that gets pointier the more he laughs.
