Like I was watching a video about Shakira and the person said they think she often gets fat transfers to her face to continue looking youthful. It makes a lot of sense and I definitely think more celebrities do it than we think (not just because of buccal fat removal but to look younger in general). Its also one of the issues I have with buccal fat removal. It's become such a trendy procedure and you see all these celebrities doing it but in 10, 20 years they'll have enough money to get fat transfers (or other things) to counteract the dumb procedure they got in their 20s but everyone else who doesn't have millions gets stuck with a badly aging face because of some stupid trending procedure that only looked good for a couple years. Its stupid and I hate this rise of it being everywhere on tiktok and stuff 

 

It’s so dangerous that cosmetic enhancements  become trends, because when these procedures become trendy they also become normalised and create an enviroment of social pressure go get these things done as well because everyone is doing them. We saw that with lip fillers and we are increasingly seeing that with Buccal fat removal. Only lip fillers seem to have less negative consequences than Buccal fat removal. 

This will have the effect you talked about where average middle class people are stuck with gaunt looking faces, that need to be maintained by filler, which expensive especially longterm, to look normal again while the celebs that made it popular have no monitary issues with affording the procedures to mainting their trendy look.

That is quite interesting, I didn't think of fat transfers in that discussion

So this is only what I am guessing could be the reasons but I'm not sure if what you said is possible. The fat can't be transfered into where the buccal fat used to sit, the only explanation I know is because the buccal fat sits too deep in the skull, idk if that is the only reason. Though I suppose one could transfer fat to a place above the buccal fat and that could mimick the buccal fat. I'm not sure if that would look the same though. The sources I watched never mentioned that as a solution to the buccal fat issue but I'm now interested to now if that would work.

But to be serious, I do find it interesting that this question gets brought up every few weeks, mostly without actual news or developtments towards the topic. I think I've shared my opinion quite a few times about this but I don't mind stating it again. 

Yoongi is my safest guess, I'd say, through that apparently still seems controversial here. Next one woule be Taehyung for me, no explanation needed lol. A while ago someone brought up interesting things regarding Hoseok, like him knowing and being close with Jo Kwon (I hope that's how you write his name), you can search that up, so he seems interesting too. My most vague guess would be Namjoon. And the rest seems very hard to read so I don't even have a guess. I am also not implying that everyone I brought up is absolutly gay but rather has a potential to be lgbt and in some way has expressed that. This is only my opinion and impression. 

kinda weirded out at some comments here sounding mad at the suppossed couple. It is none of our business if they are dating. If they wanna „make it super obvious“, let them, literally why care? 

We are not entitled to that information even if they „leave hints everywhere“, it‘s their private life still. 
 

It is not their fault delusional fans exist that will be upset at them for apparently dating, even when they have been „teasing“ it. You do not have a right to hate on them because you are upset that they are „flaunting“ their relationship. Some of y‘all need some fresh air and touch some gras in the real world.

They do but there is no way to get that very buccal fat back. It sits deep inside the face, so once its gone nothing can be done to get it back. Where the buccal fat sits/sat can’t be filled but above that there can. 

I think what you mean are fillers, probably for the cheeks. It is somewhat of a fix as it is temporary, so the area needs to be filled every few months for the effect to stay.

What’s why Buccal fat removal is kinda risky as it is completely irreversible and you have no way to know how your face will look in 10, 20 or 30 years. 

I wonder why anyone is surprised? I am most familiar with 3rd and 4th gen and I can tell you I only ever saw a handful of completely live performances. Most rely on some kind of lip sync, especially with hard choreography. This was not the case here obviously.

Now the focus in the industry is much more focused on having good dancers in groups because dance cannot be altered in any way through the camera while vocals performances can be. This results in underdevelopt vocal abilities in many idols. Adding the sky high expectations people have for 4th gen to that means companies will not let their idols sing live regardless of the idols choice (not that I think either of the girls minded). Basically this whole mess is a consequence of how the industrys works.

I also agree that knets are taking this entirely too far. 

I'm so torn about this song, some parts are so nice but others just... aren't.

Man after these elections I didn‘t have any hope for the country anymore but they really out here destroying every last bit of progress they had made.

I have to agree that this was lazy work by starship. I don‘t think the girls deserve the backflash (like knets always give them) but starship does for their dumb decisions. It‘s kinda disrespectful how dumb they think the people are to think this is not any kind of lip sync.

I find it fascinating that people cling to morals do hard when they immerse themselves in a industry that has always disregarded those very morals. 

Like said before everyones faves and their mothers have messed up (badly) before and will continue to do so. You are a fan of the wrong industry when you think those structures that promote behaviour like racism, fatshaming, colorism ect. will change anytime soon. 

I’m not saying that is good, obviously, but this is the way I think the kpop industry works at this moment and has in the past.

I really do hope everyone here knows you can’t change your body type no matter how much you loose weight. Thinking that you can borders on unhealthy relationship with your body for me. 

You can work out and build muscle while loosing fat but cannot literally change the way your body is build and claiming that you can is missinformation. 

I’m also leaning more towards the hip pad side, since why would she or the company choose to do unessecary procedures when you can get the same result for much less money and zero negative consequences (which you cannot garantue with cosmetic procedures). Also keep in mind Itzy have been working like insane these days I doubt theres time to rest or get procedures done that might take time to heal.

Well some people including me like those conversations. Also whenever people talk about idols I don't care about I literally just skip these parts like anyone else would and wait for someone to post something that is interessting to me. I'm kinda getting tired about the complaining about BTS on here, I could also complain about all other idols I don't care to discuss here or that I don't like but I don't because I see people enyoying their conversations and I know that this threat is not specifically catering to me.

Tbh I watched parts of the vlog too and my first thought when I came here was like they seemed pretty platonic to me as well, but I'm open to being persuaded, I mean it's fun too, literally why all of us here in the first place lol to be openly nosey about idols sexuality

Totally different degrees of intenseness. I just don't think it's that deep for the people that post here, compared to like actual shippers (maybe besides mEeEeE, you are quite intsense, love your content tho bestie)

I don’t doubt they have been touching up on aespa’s faces, but I feel like a part of why they look so uncanny could be the filters and editing in the video? everyone looked really odd to me, even red velvet, that’s why I’m saying that. Like I can’t put my finger on it but they all look different to me for some reason 

Perhaps it could be the different styling + cosmetic enhancement + weird filter/editing = oddly different look
