Armys on twitter going rabid, foaming mouth and all, at people pointing out there is the possibility that it could be a hickey not a crossfit bruise are one of the many reasons I despise a big part of this fandom.

I hate that kpop is adaping virtual idols as a new thing. What is charming about a virtual person who doesn’t even exist? You could argue that real idols are the same, not showing their “real” personality at times, but damn at least those idols exist in the real world and are living, breathing human beings. The concept of V-Idols is utterly pointless to me.

I have been active in the gay thread and only just joined this one bc I was curious about Moonbyul. As I've been reading the last few pages here I've never felt so chill, accepted and like we all are having adult conversations. This is such a gem  I'll be camping here from now on

2nd point: what are they talking about SM’s overediting and comparing it to that picture wherein she’s obviously being candid? Mind you, karina always have a neutral to smirk expressions whenever she’s always posted by SM. Literally find me a picture on aespa’s IG wherein Karina smiled as wide as their screencap?

They “trust” a screencap with too many compression artifacts  might as well trust a zoomed in oversharpened, smoothened figure and use whatever distortion it had as “evidence” of their “REAL face”

I was not implying anything, I was simply stating that her face looked tight to me and asked for others opinion, you read way too much into my statement. No need to be rude. 

I was also saying that SM edits their pictures, which is literally common knowledge in this thread (not singling out SM, all kpop labels do this). That's why spontanous fan taken pictures have a higher change of not being overly edited, thus I brought it up here. I know it's not great quality, but try finding an untouched high quality photo, it's not exactly easy. 

I also don't ''trust'' the picture I brought up, if you had read what I said you'd know I was merely saying what I thought was going on (MY opinion, not a fact) and asking what the rest though of it.

I found this picture of Karina. It seems to be relatively unedited, judging by the quality, and quite recent literally from the Seoul Music awards yesterday. She is looking a lot more uncanny than in any recent photo I've seen of her. Like her face looks super tight and her nose looks so tightly pulled away from her face. I would trust a picture like this to be more real than anything posted by Aespa or SM themselves, as this picture does not make her look flawless. If this is the closest to how she looks like irl, I'm scared how much editing their photos have been getting. I only saw this one photo, though I also didn't actively look for any more, so idk how much truth this one picture holds. What do you guys think about the pic?

It is really ridiculous though, I mean I am no fan of BB but imagine telling a grown men in real life who you can idolise or be friends with. They would get smacked very fast. 

Some fans have distorted priorities, really. But I am not surprised, this is kpop at the end of the day. My moral standarts for this industry have been overrun from day one. Pretty sad but you shouldn’t have any high and mighty expectations of this industry and its fans.

Honestly that is the very reason I hang out less on armys sides of internet. Many of them are delusional and believe only what they want to believe about the guys. The fact that every little thing, like the damn following of TOP on instagram, is always dramatized gets exhausting  when you are mature enough to understand that it literally doesn't matter in the end. 

I don't believe many army will care though if BTS do things they don't agree with, the majority will just ignore that and move on, a part will be mad for a short time and move on as well. There is only a very little part that will leave the fandom. That was what happened with Jungkook opening the world cup, at least, arguabliy the most recent and heavy controversy. 

As far as I know the most people who were mad at Yoongi were I think solos stans that thought Yoongi was dragging the group down with his opinions, not many of them were actualy army, as far as I know, though I could be wrong too. 

To be sexist and racist. Those are taught, no one is born with such opinions.

Looking at his old and new pictures, he seems fairly natural. Theres barely any pics from before he became an actor, it's really hard to say. If he did get something done it was very very subtle and looks really natural. Good for him!

Just wait for organic interest to grow and at the height of the hype drop a group like this. I think debuting this group right now is meant to flop. Invest the money somewhere else instead of wasting it on AI groups…
