Application of classical vocal fach in contemporary music are irrelevant. I don't know why some of you really desperate with your SPINTO, DRAMATIC, OR LYRIC term. No one in classical said that this vocal fach are suitable to use for contemporary singing, let alone some of you who bind it with passagio or tessitura lmao. Just major vocal type(Soprano, Mezzo, Contralto, Tenor, Baritone, and Bass) are enough. But still vocal community bind it with range although it's proved with major innacuracies for a decades. Vocal classification in contemporary music are all about timbre and colour of the voices. Again its much more complicated and need a lot more factor to differentiate someone vocal types. If you want to really want to, then consider their vocal abilities while they're singing and not, music genre, timbre and lastly into their passagio and tessitura.
