I got Fabulous Watermelon (another page) vibes by the way they analyse and how their page looks.
-
Ofc they have the audacity to say that Miyeon is equal to Park Bom, that I.N from stray kidz is w-a, that Seungim support his head voice, etc, and then claim that they are some rumour breakers by saying Loona's Heeijin can't actually support well or at all (reminding you she is a weak shallow girl) and that people should be more careful not to spread missinformation or THEY will debate them. (I apologise for ranting)
-
Why does this page give me the EXACT same energy as a particular questionable page ...
-
Her support is stronger than some of those girls and she has her amount of passable A4/Bb4s too
-
Things I noticed: Chaewon is too high in my opinion Jeongyeon should be W-A Hyerin is more of a W-A too Jinni shouldn't be above the other two Nmixx girls (they are all pretty similar though) Nayeon Miyeon and Rose might be too low (not completely sure though) I do think Krystal atleast should be below them.
-
Unless I am missing something Siyeon has a more problematic approach in comparison to Miyeon, with more tension early on, so ig I would have ranked her a little below. But sometimes ppl exaggerate the gap (and gaps between other vocalists as well) a bit too much.
-
Hey, Miyeon isn't particularly good but isn't that bad either. She does support, but its not completely proper and a bit limited, she can also get a bit too tight early on in her mix, still she got a stronger sound than the some vocalists from her gen with a very small cutsey approach. From the tiers we use she would be placed in weak to average. You are right that she is not very consistent and she does suffer from more issues as she goes high (above A4/Bb4), but in her mid range she ussally does fine enough. She is not among the stronger ones in her gen however, there are more skilled singers. (She is stronger than Yuqi btw)

Liking that

I also don't follow her that closely, but I am speaking from what was discussed in the thread many times. Lena's head voice is pretty much on the thin side, already in the 5th octave, and at the moment she goes to the 6th octave there is an obvious quality shift to a much thinner and essentially squeezed sound, at her best you could argue she did the bare minimum you can do to get credited up to C6-D6 range, but it is the bare minimum, and I believe it was said she was never quite consistent with it and that she lost some of it in recent years.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but in the first performance you link Luna seem relatively bright and light, the second one isn't much different too, I don't think that its above Shannon.
-
Lena is quite overrated in head voice, her consistency end around Bb5 (at her best she did fine up to D6) and she is not as resonant as some more advanced head voice users.
-
Yay they finally published those performances on youtube, I watched this episode when it aired like a month ago (not really a month Lol) and for some reason they didn't upload it till now.
-
Thank youuu ! I actually thought to showcase it but I didn't have time (bcoz of exam season lol).
-
This was one of the performances I linked when I asked about him a few weeks ago, what zrh said about his F4s in general is that they can carry support but are beyond stuck.
-
I think you will get more replies if you write in english (you can use google translate for help if you need)...
-
I can still use the search option on my computer but on my phone there is the new thing.

Big groups only ? Purple kiss have Goeun who is around her level more or less, Yuri too, Monday is better than her, and that's it ?maybe there are other one or two averages I am missing.
-
She is pretty overhyped, her mix is not as solid as the better vocalists of this gen (sound more on the stuck and limited side above A4 to me) and her opera stuff is way too uncoordinated for what she tries to do.
-
Those notes in the 5th octave by Goeun are not bad at all (not supported but the phrasing is easy, and the sustained C#5 are not too messy, just too stuck and pushed), her B4s here seem pretty nice too. I won't say she is a low average, she is more around mid.
-
How do they compare to Joy (in terms of shallow support) ? Are they weaker ?
-
If I am not wrong even when she sings less "stylistically" and more clean this days its still not in par with her preregression self, but I think that have to do with the vowels and approach more so than the chords being weaker.
-
I see, thanks for answering !

@ZRH23 What do you think of stary kidz Seungim ? can he support ? would he make it to w-a ? (someone fought/talked to me about him so I am curious) 3:16 E3, 4:11, 4:19 E4s, 5:03, 5:09, 5:16 F4s, 9:42 D3 (some 2nd octave notes before that but I don't think it matters in his case), 9:52 C#4/D4, 1:12 F#4. 0:26 Eb4, 0:52 F4, 1:19 D4 I personally thought he is shallow without anything that notable, do correct me if I am wrong.
-
I remember two live performances of this, in one she was a bit throaty, on another she was quite light and nasal, both attempts have support but could be better.
-
She is not really shallow in most of her material just rather soft and small sounding.
