Ryan? Both ggs and bgs struggle getting decent vocalists. 4th gen in particular. 1st gen and 2nd gen had many good vocals (both ggs and bgs). It went down-hill from 2015/2016 imo. A lot of kpop main/lead vocals now use this 'indie' technique with weird vowels. Also, for 4th gen, bgs seem to be weaker in terms of vocals. I can't think of many 4th gen boy groups with a member that has a free range.

Range and tone aren't impornant when it comes to vocal technique. Sunny's an okay vocalist. She's only free between Bb3/B3-Bb4-F#5/G5. She is better than many kpop vocals and I don't think she's underrated vocally though. A lot of people praise her head voice and her lovely, warm timbre.

They act as if puberty is so powerful that it can give you a rhinoplasty, a jaw shave, an epicanthoplasty and etc. But when it comes to western celebs, they don't mind going all out by calling them fake and plastic. I don't get it lmao. And the predebut pic of Lisa below is heavily edited. I don't get why people also have the audacity to call these 'glow-ups'. Going under the knife isn't a glow up. Going through all that pain to fit society's standard of beauty isn't a glow up. A glow up is something like becoming happier, healthier and making changes which benifit you mainly. For example, improving your mental health is a glow-up; going from obese to healthy is a glow-up; becoming sober is a glow-up. These are all mainly benificial to the person it's happening to and having unecessary plastic surgery isn't fot your own good. I mean, if kpop idols really only did work for the sake of themselves and not needing to perfectly fir such standard set by others, I don't think they'd get a lot of work done. Well, they're one of the groups which aren't that too plastic. Most of them are kinda natural. (PT1) First, I'll start off with Nayeon. Predebut: Still predebut but 16 era: Right off the bat, we can tell that she has had a rhinoplasty (a very good one imo) and a blepharoplasty and possibly a double-eyelid surgery which I am not too sure on. I am also guessing that she had a minor jaw shave or masseter muscle botox(?) Possibly some buccle fat removal too. And she deffo went for a lot of cheek filler too. 2020- now: Lip filler, possibly another rhinoplasty or just nose tip filler. She also looks to have had aegyo-sal surgery. Her first surgery was perfect. She should have left her face alone after that. The first rhinoplasty and her blepharoplasty were arguably one of the best imo. Most likely eye botox? She does look a bit stiff here. And her cheek fillers look kinda overdone. Everytime she grins the slightest, her cheeks look as if they about to explode. Girlie srsly needs to stop.

I think that Lisa's first rhinoplasty was great. She could have stopped there. It looks very unrealistic and her lip corner lift was't done that well. They could have made it symmetrical but they didn't. Luckily, it doesn't look creepy even though it was unecessary. But I really hope she stops getting filler and botox. Girl doesn't need it. Also, her lips are naturally full and gorgeous why does she need to get her lips filled every 2 weeks? She looks better without the lip filler. In my opinion, that is. Okay I'll piss off now

Jiu: Minx era: ( I believe she hadn't had anything done during 2014-2016 as I can't find any predebut photos of her) 2017- now: . It looks like she had a jaw shave, a very unecessary one that is. Her jaw looked better before. I also think she had buccal fat removal and gets filler in her cheeks occasionally. I do also believe that she had cartilage removed from her nose tip. She maybe gets lip filler too? The stuff that she's had done to her face doesn't make her look normal if you get what I mean. She looked prettier before imo. Like why did they touch her face?

Dami: Predebut: now: She obviously had a blepharoplasty and a nose job. I also think she gets nose tip fillers. Probably a minor jaw shave and cheek fillers too? I'm not too sure. In my opinion, she looked better before. Nonetheless, she's still gorgeous.
