  1. Thank you I felt like not a lot of people notice how sunoo seems to be left out in Enha and Hi. It also seems to be that way in I-Land (although it could be just the editing). I'm glad that he's still smiling and being positive. (but if i'm honest, I feel like he might change his personality into a more "masculine" one in the future. I mean, it's not unheard of to have sus male idols suddenly turn quiet.)
  2. Is he the hot kfc guy? I swear i've seen him before on the scary side of twitter
  3. As he should tbh.... King behavior!
  4. A common excuse that I've notice for fans defending their idols ps is that they are afraid of needles. Honestly it's a genius idea. If I was an idol and I didn't want anyone to know that i had something done, I'll just say I'm deathly afraid of needles. I've seen this excuse use multiple times. Like I'm sure Lisa is not faking her fear of needles but using that to debunk the obvious work she had done is a bit of a reach. What other idols have a fear of needles yet are suspected of surgery? only momo and lisa are coming to mind rn.
  5. Is she trying to make us feel sorry for her? She's not the victim here.
  6. Finally... Twice always get dragged (to an unnecessary extent tbh) because of their encores..
  7. Sunwoo seems to have some kind of complex about his weight tbh. From interviews and such, he is always named as the member who eats the most and it's honestly brought up quite alot by the members. I don't think niki was trying to offend him and i'm not trying to comment on their friendship but i personally feel uncomfortable with weight jokes. Niki is still very young and making comments like these are prolly seen as funny to him.
  8. I've seen many people call quite idols 'boring'. I'm sorry but I would lose my mind if all my bias acted like crackheads. I'd rather have someone quiet than with a fake persona.
  9. Bestie please give us a full seventeen analysis
  10. It's nice to know that the company is taking care of these girls! considering they only sold 500 albums
  11. About the second question, I think it's more of a case where people don't ask. I mean, how many times have you seen an interviewer ask an idol whether they had plastic surgery? that wouldn't really fly well over viewer's heads and they would be deemed rude. Like when miss world pageant winner Priyanka Chopra was asked on national TV whether she had a nose job, people in the comments were pissed (at the interviewer). compare that to Jessi fully admitting her surgeries on TV and people calling her brave. Even though it's obvious that both had work done, it's up to how comfortable they are to talk about it. one of the tactics celebrity use is only admitting to certain surgeries. Iggy Azalea has admitted to multiple nose jobs and injectables over her career. Many people in the comments called her brave and loved how authentic she is (even though she had more work done than she admitted to). She knows that doing that would make her more likable and connected to her fans. Even naturally attractive people get work done. Why? I could not be certain but I would put it up to pressure. The pressure of maintaining that same perfection and the pressure to be better. Since most of these people's fame comes from their visuals, they might feel pressured to look perfect. this is also the case for idols who have grown up being called 'attractive" their whole lives and still end up getting loads of work done. examples of these, which i could think of is, Jaehyun (NCT), TXT boys, sunghoon (enha), and many more. These people were already considered to be above average in terms of visuals yet they still got work done. The taboo on plastic surgery has always been there, even in a place where it is rampant like SK. I can't be too confident as to why but I think its about people not wanting to admit that they are not perfect. there is also an aspect of insecurity that comes with getting plastics surgery. All of these leads to the argument that plastic surgery is "unnatural" and "immoral" (usually seen in religious people who believe that we should not change what we were given). To me, plastic surgery is a neutral topic; it is neither good or bad. It doesn't really say much about a person.
  12. The stretch they went to defend jiyeon's plastic surgery on this thread a few months ago was quite memorable. I'm all for messy people but damn
  13. The jaw shave + filters really jumped out here. It's straight up kinda scary The fact that I still see people defending aespa's surgeries in youtube comments sends me.
  14. What is sm trying to do with the "KWANGYA" thing? it's really becoming the new jAsoN deRulOoO of all sm songs.
  15. This might be unpopular but strawberry ice cream is disgusting (not talking about the sorbet kind)
  16. idk why my economics teacher just said "No one would put in an effort if there wasn't a monetary incentive", Sir have you ever met a fanfic writer. They do that shit for free it's not that hard to understand.
  17. Sunoo is def the most sus out of Enhypen (excluding the maknaes bcz they're too young). This might be bias blindness on my part but I always feel like hybe is trying to censor him.
  18. svt and their suspicious lips. reminds me of this album photo of joshua. He naturally has bigger lips but this is way too much. that first photo turns out to be most likely photoshop or temporary lip plumper since we don't see him in vdo with those lips. Could be the same case for the8 rn but honestly, it could also be lip filler. I hear its getting quite common within boy groups now (TXT's impact perhaps???)
  19. ^ here jisoo seems to be leaning forward a bit ^ they look more or less the same height (although maybe they were insoles to the airport too?) Honestly I always thought jennie was the shortest in blackpink not jisoo but they seem to be in the same range (i'd say 163ish if the calculations about rose's height (170) is true, if not I would put them shorter around 160 ish).
  20. Fanfic writers are the backbone of this society. people drag them too much, i've read some betters than "actual" authors.
  21. I think that person was joking? at least I hope so...
  22. Not something I excepted from the teasers but I do love it. I like this type of music and I wish there would be more in kpop.
