  1. Her cheeks look so lumpy???? I watched Lorry hill's video on "plastic surgery that makes you look fake" and she mentioned something about different types of fillers and their side effects. She said that sometimes fillers turn lumpy and don't fully dissolve (it has to be surgically removed in that case). I think this could be what happened to eunha because her cheeks looks really strange. also that hair color is not it. It doesn't suit her skin tone at all and she looks like those soccer moms I would see in target at 8:00 A.M.
  2. I think he was mentioned once(?) back in 2018 when he first debuted but the op didn't go into details into what he had done. But i agree, among the nct members, he is definitely the one who has a lot done who is least mentioned. although he looks very handsome, i thought his face looks way too puffy at debut. his nose, chin, and cheekbones really juts out of his face in a sometime unfortunate way. 1. this is a photo from 2015/2016: look at his nose tip and how his nose kind off points down (like it's not pointy) When he debuted in 2018: The nose tip is suddenly very pointy and his nose bridge is sloped. Superhuman era: In this photo it almost looks like an implant. 2. I also believe he had his eyes done, it looks very different compared to what it look like. the angle is similar on these photos and he is kinda squinting(?) (also his nose looks a bit crooked here but it could just be the lighting) notice how the line is very harsh here. 4. Lips/smile area: I'm not too sure about this but his smile looks different. I don't know the correct vocabulary for this but I believe his smile has changed. In the past his lips rounded out when he's smiling and it points up at the corners(?). This is both visible in his neutral head position and when smiling. Can this change be achieved through fillers or is it a whole procedure? If we were to do this Lorry Hill style, this would be the verdict: 1. Nose job (possibly an implant) 2. blepharoplasty 3. fillers continuously through 2018-present 4. possibly something to his lips This is a photo that shows everything he had done. The nose, eyes, and smile is quite obvious. I think some nctzens know that jungwoo is not natural yet most of them always defend him when someone accuses him of having a nose job. I think maybe because his nose looks somewhat similar to his pre-debut's one to an untrained eye.
  3. Thank you!! I swear when i first saw him, i thought he must had a lot done to his face. idk he just has that type of face. lmao at first i wrote "Is this a result of too much filler or is he just an incompetent actor?" but i edited it because i thought it was too mean. Whoever says pretty privilege doesn't exist clearly haven't seen cha eunwoo's acting.
  4. This topic is actually not commonly talked about however there will be questions here and there that pops up. And yeah you are right, the names that i see pop up the most is sehun and ten. sakura is also talked about (and i've read that she even confirmed it herself??). In the websites i've read, there is a difference between speculation posts and "insider informant" posts. the speculations forums are just like the ones here, filled with arguments and rumors. The insider info however are different. The people giving spilling these secrets are trusted insiders who have been right about many other things before. And one thing about it is that they never give the full story with same sex couples. they will say stuff like "member of B tier boygroup is spotted with a business man" or smth like that (which honestly sounds a bit sus). I've not seen a single name drop from a "insider" of which idols are gay. Some chinese fansites are really invested in their idols and they know everything about them but they will never say anything about their sexualities. I think a lot of international fans misunderstand this. Coming out would definitely ruin an idol's career. The fansites are only trying to protecting their idols. However I've seen comments where people ask about ateez and txt and the informant would reply with "cannot tell". So i guess those two groups are it then.
  5. Cha Eunwoo of Astro had not had anything surgical done right? I’ve tried searching back in this thread and that seems to be what everyone believes. I’ve heard his name multiple times before but I’ve never really paid attention to his projects. This morning I was bored so I decided to watch a few episodes of true beauty (a show which he acts in) and I can’t help but notice that is facial expressions are really stiff. He seems to have difficulty moving his face in more than 3 expressions. Is this a result of too much filler or is that his acting style? Or like in this picture (its an unflattering angle im sorry) his lips and face looks quite swollen.
  6. When Got7 was still promoting together, Jackson was by far the most popular/talked about member in china (I think also internationally?). His fanbase is the biggest and there are many stories about people who have claimed to met/worked with him. They say that he is the same on/off camera. from stylists/staff people, they say that he is respectable and polite to others. Overall, the consensus is that he is a cool/well-liked person. However, there are many many rumors of him going to clubs/bars (before the pandemic). There are also "pictures" of him there (idk the picture doesn't really show the face but the op claimed that it was him), and as always there are many opinions on this. as for the "is he straight or not" debate, the opinions are pretty mixed (similar to the ones on english sites honestly). there are many posts that claim one or the other but the comments are always filled with different opinions. and yeah like the other person said, there are alot of rumors about him seeing a few chinese actresses. some are more believable but it is also important to note that many chinese sites would pair up their lesser known faves ( in this case, the chinese actresses ) with someone popular ( in this case, jackson ) to get their name trending. idk though, some comments barely give any info about it. they just say i saw this person and that person together and such. idk about the player part though but multiple people who have worked with him said that he seems like a nice person, if not a bit shy. They also say that the "player" persona is given to him by sm because they think that it would be more profitable for them. Like literally one of the biggest reasons his Chinese fans like him so much is because he is kind. He has also been promoted by sm (pre 2018) as being a nice person on shows and stuff. If the rumors (by English speaking fans) that he is a player is true then it would most likely destroy his career. you could compare these rumors to the chanyeol situation. He is a player offscreen and you can definitely tell from the way he acts onscreen. Given the recent scandals that just came out, we can never be sure whether our idols are genuine or not. It's best that we don't get too attached to any of them.
  7. I don't follow the group you are talking about but i said what i said because i remember coming on this post a while back and saw someone posting a link to a page where they have translated supposed cfans/kfans receipts or something. When i clicked on that page there were no link to the original source so i could not confirm whether what they were talking about is true or not. Just wanted to say that even Ifans themselves make up baseless rumors and said that they got it from another source. and yeah there are true facts that chinese fans knows but usually they are shared within group chats between their own stalker groups. they are not really accessible to the outside lurkers. There are multiple pages that talks about him (jae) in many chinese websites that i could find. mostly they talk about how his mannerisms are really feminine and the differences of his interactions between male/female idols. I'm only fully fluent in Mandarin and i can't really read traditional chinese that much so i'm limited by my language skills. I'll try to find some but i don't think they are very common within english speakers? Jackson however is frequently talked about. I love him. Also remember when he bought Soobin a sweater that came with a skirt? Hee hee but what fans are saying is that he kept the skirt for himself and only gave him the top.
  8. After looking at pictures of nose pegs i've decided that i hate them. I tried looking up whether nose pegs cause further damage when used improperly however there seems to be different types of them (some are even made of metal???). I think they look too uncanny because the nose tip is too lifted and pinched. I winder how could he perform and wear them at the same time? what if they fell off during a performance? that would be kinda wild (and funny) ngl. Thank you!! I've always thought some of the members (especially seognhwa) looks different but i just can't put my finger on what they did. His eyelid crease looks so harsh though. san predebut: San looks natural however i remember ppl talking about his jaw and chin(?) but i also can't find the exact post.
  9. Sorry to disturb your fascinating discussion but I'm fairly new to this thread and I have a question, how do you guys verify some of your claims? Some of you guys have twitter links and such but are others claims from people who know these idols? I'm asking because I read a comment on a yt video yesterday about how Jaehyun (Nct) used to dress up as a girl and go to talent show??? I used to religiously watch them when they were rookies and I've never heard this before. I also could not find any mention of this on weibo. so if anyone got a source please drop it for me. thank you Also I havent been on this thread long enough to know whether you guys believe everything/use info from east asian sources. But let me just say, most ppl in weibo (and prolly ksites too) are only speculating. some of them even falsely tell ifans about other couple to get them off track. This is extremely common with same gendered couples. like they will spread rumors that they are dating other girls. And i know a lot of kfans and cfans get a bad rep from ifans but they are not all bad, some of them believe that they are protecting their idols by doing this. So basically, don't always believe things from "closer" sources and please drop me some info about jae. I'm a big supporter of the "boys in skirts" agenda.
  10. Hey guys have Ateez been discussed thoroughly yet? especially Hongjoong. From the very first time i saw him, I thought his nose was super strange. Like no offence, but he looks like Jeffree star. Like in these gifs, notice how pointy his nose tip is??? However, looking at his predebut pictures, his nose was already really thin. I suspect that he had further work done to his tip. ( he reminds me of SinB of Gfriend who naturally had an unnatural looking nose and got more work done. ) It really makes me wonder why he did that. His nostrils now have the triangular shape like the actors you guys were talking about just now. rip in this photo his nose tip looks like Txt's Taehyun.
  11. I've seen like three accounts on twitter claiming this. They say that the jaw shrinks as people age ( which is true ) however they always use photos that compare jaw size from the end of maturity to when they start to age ( like 20 - 60 ). They never use photos or articles that prove that your jaw will change this much during your teenage years. Also some people are so naive to the point where they say that their faves idols never got anything done ( which is weird because at the same time they acknowledge that plastic surgery is common in kpop especially big 3 idols ). Also I've found this post on tumblr showing this before and after photo that proves that he never had anything done. I'm really not convinced that he never shaved his jaw. I mean look at his brother's jaw. Wouldn't his jaw naturally look the same to his brother's now if he had nothing done? and the sad thing that I've read everywhere is that antis like to spread plastic surgery rumors about him. Although it is true that some antis are like that, I think that the majority of people talking about his surgery are not doing it in a disparaging way. none of us are bashing him or anyone else discussed in this thread really. If antis stopped using plastic surgery as an insult then I bet more idols would be open about it.
  12. Yeah, I agree that the tiktok doctor probably has performed multiple surgeries and is super knowledgeable but some of his videos are lowkey a reach. Like i don't really understand what he means when he says that if a nose has a clover shape nostrils it is an implant? I have a similar nostril shape and i've never had an implant placed in. I remember him doing an analysis on BTS but he used edited/highly filtered photos of them and i believe that most of them are not accurate. People who naively believe anything a doctor say about plastic surgery are almost as bad as those stans who deny their faves' surgery tbh.
  13. Have ya'll been blessed with Doyoung's titties this morning yet? Anyways, what i wanted to ask was that the shape of his jawline is a dead giveaway of a jaw shave right? I remember multiple people commenting only a few posts back that people who had their jaw shaved often have that "egg-like" shape to it? like their jawlines will be completely smooth without a mandible angle no matter how they pose? like for example in the picture above, you see the bone part underneath Jungwoo's ear and if you look at Doyoung, that part is missing. I've seen many doyoung plastic surgery deniers on other websites and the thing they are always passionate about is doyoung never getting his jaw shaved. they always seem to vehemently deny it for some reason and they always use the excuse that singing practicing/techniques(?) shifted his jaw? Idk anything about singing however I doubt that it would make your jawline smoother??? I'm not sure though but I've never seen anyone with a jaw like that naturally.
  14. Not him looking like Ellen Degeneres in that boss gif The hair, eye contacts, and filters are really not it. I can't believe sm had the audacity to think that they could get away with whitewashing him that much. Out of all the nct members, he definitely has the most recognizable and unique face. even my friends who don't follow nct knows who lucas is. It's a shame that sm put these standards on members who clearly don't fit it. The chin fillers made his face looks weird because his cheekbones doesn't point down in a V line shape like ,for example Taeyong's and Jaehyun's, it just threw off his lower face proportions because his lips were already full and high up on his face. His nose doesn't look that bad from the front view ( I believe he never gotten actual surgery right?, just fillers? ) however from the side it looks hella weird. his nose tip is round and a bit flat which suits his round cheekbones and blunt chin. And lets be honest, i think we can all agree that he looks best with tan skin. I've seen some idols where pale skin looks fine on them but lucas is definitely not one of them. It makes his skin looks like uncooked chicken.
  15. The nose fillers really jumped out in this picture Also have you guys seen WayV's comeback teaser's photoshoots? Some of them look slightly off to me but i can't place what it is yet. I'll post more photos of them when i spot something. Also imo, lucas does not look good with a pointy nose tip. Idk it doesn't suit the rest of his features.
  16. I think someone earlier in this thread had said something about Itzy's Yeji having a nose job and at first i definitely agree. I saw a lot of changes in the base of her nostrils, it seems smaller. but i wonder could it just be because of fillers and photo editing? however, i also came across this photo of her barefaced and i thought it looked really similar to her predebut's. predebut i see a change but im not fully convinced yet that she's had a nose job. Can someone please clear this up for me?
  17. I would say a lot of those skin care treatments that companies make their idols go through have some skin lightening properties however i don't think that percentage of idols who ACTUALLY got their skin lighten is that high. I say this mainly because when you see pictures of idols completely unfiltered, without makeup, and in a normal lighting, their skin tone is not that different from predebut. their skin just looks a bit paler however their undertone(?) is still the same. People who have gotten their skin lighten will often have a pale and greyish appearance to their skin that really stands out. their skin will also often appear super thin and their veins will be visible. I do suspect some idols of skin bleaching but only in moderate amounts. I can't really think of anyone who shows all the signs of skin lightening. I would say the percentage is maybe 30%?
  18. That Jimin tweet haunts me all the time. Waiting for the day he gets confronted for it. I have to say though, his new blue hair definitely makes him look different. Along with the eyebrow slit, the filters, and Kpop styling, I would say that the only thing that seems different are his eyes and maybe nose? his eyes are definitely more open and “even” looking now. As for his nose I’m not really sure because it still has that peculiar shape to it. It just looks more defined and less bulky. comparing his Predebut pictures to now, you can definitely see a big difference, most people would probably say they look like two different people. But on closer inspection, not a lot of his features have actually been changed. also a big part in why he looks so different is probably his skin tone. He jumped like 7 shades.
  19. more close up pictures of jaehyun's nose changes: this is a picture i saved from this thread not long ago. notice how the tip of his nose is slightly longer than his nostrils. he also overall has a kinda straight bridge that points a bit downwards at the tip. 2018 this photo is from a similar position and now his nose seems a bit more upturned. front angle photos school aged jaehyun i have no idea when this photo was taken so i originally didn't used it in my earlier posts about him. I've heard it is before he even joined sm since he still had his original jaw. at first i just brushed off this as him growing into his nose thus making it seem smaller now. however, in a closer inspection, there is almost no definition in his tip and you can clearly see the extra skin that forms a ball shape. also note the size of his nose bridge compared to his tip. 2015 ish in this picture you can still see the lack of definition and the big size difference of his tip compared to his bridge. now look at these photos: the excess skin surrounding his tip has disappeared and his nose looks overall a lot more harmonious. the size of the tip and the bridge flows well together and his nose also no longer look as flat as it was in the upper photos. 2019 I think this photo is the most apparent one. you can clearly see how much more defined the tip is ( kinda almost looks bony like bella hadid's ) and again the size of the tip is proportional to his bridge. the bridge also seems to be higher but that could be because he isn't really smiling in this photo. I think the only other idol package thing he hasn't had done are his eyes? They are still thin and slightly hooded.
  20. what's so appealing about pointy chins? I'm sorry if this is a bit mean but i really don't understand this trend. is it to give an allusion of having an oval shaped face? but if they used it to make the face look more balanced, then why is it so prominent most of the time. a pointy chin would not suit hyewon's face because she does not have a strong enough bone structure for it. she also doesn't need it at all considering her face is already very well balanced. also doesn't chin filler technically makes you face longer from the front view? i've seen multiple idols who have gotten their jaws sawed off get chin fillers. couldn't they just have shaved their chins into a v line at the same time? or is that a different procedure? must be tiring to undergo multiple surgeries that sometimes contradict each other just to fit into the standards. also i've seen some ppl deliberately using that cursed snow app to get this appearance. it looks like their chins have been through a pencil sharpener almost.
  21. Yes i agree!! I really love Lorry Hill's video mostly because they are so positive and it never feels like she is trying to "expose" these celebrities. also stans should really know that by being defensive they are implying that they are not okay with plastic surgery and they are also indirectly perpetuating an unnatural standard of beauty. I don't know if this is relevant to this or not but i feel like ps in kpop is kinda setting an unnatural standard for asian to foreigners who are not familiar with asian faces. I've seen many comments on other websites in english ( and maybe im wrong for this but im assuming that most of these people are not asian ) defending idols who very clearly has had plastic surgery. there are many features that are common within east asians and we can immediately tell who has and unnatural nose or not. the reason why i can barely find any posts on weibo demeaning idols about their plastic surgery is because most of us already knows who had plastic surgery and who had not. it's strange how the most defensive stans are english speakers who are most likely not east asian. like I've had someone tell me on qoura that no one in enhypen had plastic surgery. however as a east asian, i've never seen anyone with a natural nose like Heeseung's and Sunghoon's. it's strange how kpop have distorted what a typical asian face is supposed to look like. ( also the international stans who like to say shit like "f knets" and "all Knets are snakes" are really annoying. People really like to make up their own problems huh. Literally like Lisa is actually really well loved in china and korea and foreign kpop stars are actually mistreated by their companies, not the korean/east asian audience. moving to a new country and learning the language and culture is a really respectful thing that all east asian audiences recognize. i think english speaking fans don't fully understand this because they are raised to expect everything to be in english already. )
  22. not sure if this is helpful but all my life I've had this thing where my eyelids would droop just a little over my eyeline(?) i think in english it's called ptosis. and since the extra skin is sitting on the lash line, it causes my lashes to point downwards and eventually started growing on the insides of my eyelids which would constantly poke my eyes. When i went to the ophthalmologist for my latest glasses prescription, the doctor recommended that i should get my droopy eyelids removed. She said that as i age the skin would constantly lose elasticity and it would eventually impair my sight. she also said that it would be easier to do it now since I'm young and healthy than when I'm older (smth about how scars heals faster and better when you are young and also how it's safer to undergo anesthesia now than when you are 40 ). so i said okay and recently got it done in mid december 2020 ( my country at that time was declared covid free ). During my consultation i also asked the doctors to stitch my eyelids in a more symmetrical line that i didn't already had lol. so technically this could be considered to be both medical and plastic surgery. point here is that by the end of january my eyelids were already fully healed. you could only see the scar when i'm not wearing any eye makeup and if you stand really closely. the posts above asked about when taehyun of txt did his eyelids and my answer would be anytime during the breaks really. it takes a surprisingly fast time to heal and with the makeup/lighting/filters all idols use it would easily conceal the scar. txt takes about a 4-5 month break between each comeback and they have plenty of time to get it done. for me it only took eight days from the day of the surgery to take of the stitches and after that i am allowed to put on makeup safely again. the covid 19 situation was also probably helpful in this since idols have to quarantine which means less fans taking up close/unfiltered photos of them and thus giving them the power to control their own photos and giving them more time to heal.
  23. ok Guys I've found it The first picture is the official one and the second one is edited. Idk when i first saw these pictures i thought they were really convincing, after looking at it a bit more i think it could just be the position of his head and weird lighting (not to mention the makeup and dispatch's clown-ass most likely editing this photo). the scar that is one his septum ( the cartilage that is in between the nostrils ) could most likely be just a shadow or weirdly placed makeup contour. since his head isn't really tilted up in this photo, we can't really see it clearly. these are where incisions are most commonly made in nose jobs: However what i find weird is the white line that is found in both outer corners of his nostrils. It's more visible in the first picture. The line looks like its a scar from being cut open and stitched back again. In the first picture, the most prominent one, it's on our left ( his right since the picture is mirrored ). also the way his foundation sits on that part of the nose is strange. it makes it almost a shade lighter which to me makes it seems like the base is uneven and the foundation just filled it up. idk though, maybe the doctors over there in sm's hostage room has found another way to do nose jobs without leaving scars on the columella. although the pictures are a bit of a flop it doesn't take away from the fact that his nose is drastically slimmer here than in the predebut picture in my last post. Also in the pictures, his face looks shockingly gaunt. for someone who says that he bloats alot, his face during regular era sure was bony. I hope he isn't continuing whatever he's been doing to make his face that skinny ( kinda wishful thinking on my part because in his drama trailer his face looks really gaunt ), i heard from youtuber Lorry hill that buccal/jowl fat removal are not helpful in the longterm since they basically suck away the face fat and it also apparently can't be reinjected back in. The only way for people who have done buccal fat removal to have full cheeks is to get some sort of fillers. with his jaw shave and overall bone structure, i can tell that jaehyun will definitely age better with rounder cheeks. I some how can't find the original poster on this thread but i found the one where user @/jung jaehyun's boyfriend quoted it so i got it from there. the post was made asking about the nose job on october 10 2018 but when i went back and looked for it, i only found ppl quoting it. judging by the date on jaehyun's boyfriend quoted, the post should have been made around pg 360 ish and i've checked and it should be between when ppl were talking about Gidle's minne (0ct 9) and shuhua and nam taehyun (oct 11) getting 25 injections or smth. it's not there so i assume the person who originally asked deleted their account. Also not ya'll commenting more on the twink comment than the rest of the post. It's not my fault he acts like an anime girl in his rookie days.
  24. For those Doyoung plastic surgery deniers: Rookie days in a recent video I only noticed this while watching a predebut video of him singing when they zoomed in on his side profile. they seemed to have lifted(?) the bottom part of his nose up and made the bridge straighter. It's actually quite well done, i've never suspected him of a nose job because it fits his face really well. Also i remember like a few hundred posts ago there was someone saying something about Jaehyun having gotten his nose done and they posted a picture of him at some award show ( he was wearing a suit and his hair was purple or grey i think ), and in that picture you can clearly see a nose job scar on his septum. I tried looking back in the thread and i can't seem to find that post and i also can't find that exact picture. but if you have it please quote and reply it for all of us to see. anyways in this rookies picture you can see the shape of his nose (especially the tip) when he is smiling. now look at it again in a recent photoshoot The tip has definitely been refined and they is more of a shape to it. before it was rounded and now you can certainly see that there is a straight line throughout his nose from the front view (as opposed to it being interrupted or in a more triangular shape due to a bulbous tip). I'm 100 percent sure on this and anyone else probably would be too if i can find that goddamn picture of him with the scar. I think he had this done somewhere between firetruck era and regular era (big time jump i know). because if you check back on the photo of those times, the changes on his nose was not big enough to be pointed to surgery, however after regular era there definitely was a big change. His whole face became sharper including his nose ( i suspect this to be because sm wanted to push the prince image on him to make him more popular ). sm is know for doing stuff like this and when i first noticed it i thought it was strange because Jaehyun always seemed like a twink to me but it seems to be successful so good for them i guess?? all thoughts are welcomed on this
