Yoongi is describing his standard of an aesthetically-pleasing man. Masculine, macho-type with a beard. “Because I’m not tall, don’t have a beard either”. He could be talking about what he lacks, or wish he looked like, or simply his opinion of a handsome man…rather than what he’s sexually into. Because I highly doubt the interviewers were talking about his sexual tastes. The thing is, queer idols could be lowkey talking about their sexual tastes so there’s ambiguity in interpretation. Another example is Ryujin who apparently got scouted because a company staff member asked for her number and Ryujin gave it to her because she was cute. People use this to prove Ryujin is wlw. When actually idols call other same-sex idols and people cute all the time without meaning they want to be intimate with that person. There isn’t a sexual connotation to it like there is in the West. Korea/Kpop maybe shows everyones’ a little bisexual in that we can be affected by looking at hot or cute members of the same-sex without necessarily wanting to get in their pants? And Koreans/idols are open and unashamed in their reactions? Or maybe korean guys are more gay than western men who actually aren’t hiding their feelings I don’t know!! I think there’s more leeway in the West for straight women to simp for other womens’ looks…straight guys can do it too but in a more “macho” way and not whatever BTS and Taeil were doing in those videos…I don’t even think Western women react to other women like that…these boys are reacting like they’re seeing a luxury sports car asdfghjkl the innocent objectification and simping with no shame, that BTS clip is so embarrassing to watch lol Tldr; Yoongi “ideal man” receipt may be exaggerated given he was specifically asked what type of male face he finds most handsome and the Korean culture of openly appreciating/talking about the aesthetics of same-sex people, along with no stigma/weirdness(?) around men doing it. It doesn’t prove he’s gay, only if he is, then it’s his ideal type.

I think “gay voice” is more in line with “femininity” than sexuality OR people learning English sounding higher, enunciating more and influenced by their primary language accent OR natural anatomy (e.g “girl voice”). There’s gay men who fit the stereotype, others who don’t (TJ Osbourne?), straight men who do (Shawn Mendes). I watched the Holland clip and noticed lisping. As @geographic mentioned, a Korean accent can be mistaken for lisping. I don’t notice a lisp on Eunwoo though. He could be gay, I just don’t think he has a “gay voice”. I think you're right. I knew Taeyong gets things done. Yet almost everyone (like on Youtube) claims he's natural. He's my ult, I look at pictures/videos of him all the time lol. It's fillers (?).
