  1. Johnny Depp lost his case in the UK precisely because the jury determined that there was substantial proof that he was, indeed, a wife beater, and therefore no defamation could have taken place by referring to him in such terms. The court transcriptions with proof, incriminatory texts and full unedited-and-not-intentionally-leaked-by-his-PR-team audios are available on the Internet. Hell, there's a whole arse documentary on the trial that leaves him biting the fucking dust and discloses his disinformation bot campaign, but his crazy ass fangirls and the musty incels and MRA decide to stay in their self-made echochamber instead. Fuck them. https://www.nickwallis.com/depp-trial-court-transcripts Also, fuck you all who keep pushing the same fucking narrative about mutual abuse. There was no mutual abuse, but a multimillionaire with a background of violence, addiction, alcohol dependency and multiple arrests preying on a woman half his age and mistreating her to the point she started hitting back. Which she, unlike his blatantly lying crusty ass, has never denied. Amber Heard doesn't owe you to be a saint, but she's most definitely a victim. This motherfucker has been pulling literal DARVO on her, a textbook abuser tactic, and people have been eating that shit up because they have terrible taste in movies and because they were literally DYING to have a scapegoat into which they could pour their vitriolic misogyny. The misinformation campaign runs so deep that shit like this has been taken place on court every single effing day, but it gets fucking crickets in comparison to a smiling Amber Heard picture. Also, stop pulling the "they were both lying and toxic" card if you have no fucking idea what's actually going on, it doesn't make you sound rational. Stop it. For the "They're both celebrities, what do we care crowd", I'll cue you in: if you are a woman, you must care, because this case will trickle down to all of us. Abusers are starting to get overconfident and they will resort to sue their victims even more than they already did to prolong their torture. Nevermind the MeToo movement, it was all for show. We as women are fucked.
  2. Still very pretty, but she looks straight up gorgeous in the first pics. The Kpop industry likes their idols bland and uniform, standards are getting worse and the slowly narrowing public perception of what it is to be pretty is pressuring kids who ten years ago would've debuted as a visual without any major changes into trading their melanin and uniqueness/fresh facedness for the same squeaky-clean, smoothed out looks. All for the sake of marketability. I don't know, maybe it is because I've started to grow out of Kpop (though I keep very fond memories of the years I've spent as a Kpop fan), but everything about it feels so uninspiring to me now.
  3. Had to sign in because: word. The only thing that gets on my nerves even more than Korea's egregiously racist, classist and overall discriminatory attitude towards South East Asians is Western Kpop fans co-opting this very specific brand of racism. These fucking koreaboos are riding high on East Asians' race essentialism without being Japanese/Chinese/Korean themselves. They're vicariously living their supremacist dreams through these nations' self-attributed superiority, it's so embarrassing.
  4. Thank you. You're not half as cunning as you think yourself to be. I'm not THAT invested in chatting you up, sorry to disappoint. You, on the other hand... I see I live in your mind rent free to the point of having you go paranoid, huh? Mental problems. Take your meds.
  5. Something to his lips too. The corners and the overall shape look exactly like Sunny's.
  6. The more & more time goes by, the more I'm convinced More & More is TWICE'S unsung masterpiece. I was one of those people who dragged it at first, but I've come to see the light.
  7. I don't know whether she had some ultra minor refinement, but no idol has ever come close to her visual and no idol ever will. That's a hill I'll die on. One of the most versatile, striking and fascinating faces ever.
  8. Kim Tae Hee has one of the most agressive epicanthoplasties I've ever seen. She's obviously very beautiful, but I felt there something off about her eye área even before knowing that cosmetic procedures like eye corner cutting were a thing.
  9. The 7th Sense was ahead of its time, Sticker straight up sucks. Even the choreo is forgettable. Also, I like Taeyong, but his Korean pronunciation sounds so offfff and cringy most of the time. His stage presence is either original and outstanding or your standard Kboy who looks 17 trying to emulate a Teenpop baddie. I guess it depends on how he's feeling. Zico is shady as hell and probably had an incel phase AND... his talent. Jesus Christ. The amount of iconic songs he's put out and every single one of his mixtapes are just... *chef kiss* To compare him to any idol rapper is just insulting. He's well above that. Mark is outstanding as an idol rapper and has a good chance to become a really good one only if he works hard on it. I'm not saying he hasn't worked hard enough or that he's not remarkable otherwise. He might very well be top 5 of most talented active idols currently. What I'm saying is that it would be a total waste for him not to go a little bit out of his way and acquire some vocab and practice different flows and other ways of delivery, precisely because he has a solid base to build upon and ridiculous potential. The fact that group dances get increasingly mechanic and uninspiring makes me even more appreciative of idols whose main selling point was their unbridled stage presence. Stage presence is HyunA's most outstanding quality, by the by. I get that she's a good dancer, but compared to the increasingly refined dancers that have been debuted after her she is not quite as impressive anymore concerning the purely technical aspect. She's still very hard to surpass as a performer, though. She gets onstage, everything else disappears. No one can stare like her, no one can be cheeky, and sexy and then transform into a madwoman the way she does. She's the standard for idol charisma.
  10. It would definitely be easier for consulting, but you have to keep in mind that we're different people with different opinions, and, most importantly, we're not experts —or at least not one person with an academic background in the field has actively contributed to the thread so far— which means the utter weight of our judgements rests on before/after comparisons and aditional information from external sources, such as PS clinics and doctors. It's extremely hard to reach a consensus. The thing is, you can try to do your analysis better, but you can't always vouch for its being 100% correct.
  11. Look, I don't especially like Karina, but those girls from Pann are being ridiculous. You set a beauty standard that's almost impossible to attain, and once someone gets to fit it to a T by means of surgical intervention you shame their looks for being "less legitimate" somehow. What do you expect Karina to do after spending so much of her time in pain to become an idol (who are first esteemed on the basis of how good they look)?? Cover herself in shame? What should she be ashamed of exactly? "Acting like a natural beauty" How do you even act like a natural beauty? Of course she won't say a word on that matter, let alone if umprompted... Just like 95% of idols? I think they're envious of her and their overidealised unattainable ideal she has... well... attained. What's the problem with her not looking like she hates herself??
  12. A whole lot of Korean men are anti-feminists with questionable ideas about gender policies. They showed more concern about that one comedian's alleged anti-men hand gesture than they did for the Burning Sun incidents. Most Idols are Korean men. It's a bit far fetched to think every single one of your oppas are LGTB allies because they've done fanservice at the request of their company and that this excludes them from possibly being mysoginists. It's not a matter of pointing fingers or accusing anyone. It's just that there are some kinds of shitty behaviour that provoke all sorts reactions of denial and unbelief, like the Mingyu incel-ly painting situation, when it is... Well it is mostly to be expected. Also, Heechul dating Momo was DISGUSTING, DISTURBING, MESSED UP. She was 19 when he met her. A teenager still. Heechul was 32 and had been in the industry for more than a decade. No, you don't instantly become a grown-up the moment you turn 18. It was an adult man with a well-known japanese girl fetish living out his fantasies on a much younger and inexperienced young woman. It was creepy AF.
  13. I don't know what to say... It's so scabrous I won't comment on her transformation but there was no Vincent Cassel's inheritance to be seen, so it sort of makes sense. I don't blame her, because when your mother is MB it's normal to be scared shitless of not 'living up' to people's expectations. It saddens me that the daughters of women renown for their beauty feel like a second coming of their mothers that must somehow 'keep up'. Like they must be 'enough of a beauty' first and foremost, when they should be given the mental space to be something appart from their parents' beauty appendage and develop into their own selves... Like, there are so many things one can be or become, and pretty, while superficially appealing at first and useful to some degree, is by far the least interesting.
  14. Those are different angles tho? I think it's more about the swelling going away and her losing weight. Her before cheeks were puffier sometimes because of it, because there were fleeting pre-Next Level moments when she was sporting the more upswept look she seems to have now.
  15. You could tell e was a drop dead beauty even then imo. Her features were so clear. She even had an oval face shape. No need to touch her eyes
  16. BTS do not have the best rapline in Kpop. Not even close. For starters, Block B's eats them up. Not even the so called best rappers of the group are great, they're decent. I always laugh my ass off when they try to pass RM's 'hip-hop dialect' slurred English speaking arse as this lyrical genius (or a genius overall. I can't remember any time he's said or done anything particularly sharp). Don't come with their Demian inspired album because they don't even know their storyline/theory. And it wasn't genius, it was artsy at best. Had sprinkles of Nietzsche, I mean, whatever. He has a couple decent verses, but most of them are like rhymes an edgy 13-year-old would have made thinking they're deep. Suga can't get a good flow for the life of him but I guess he's good at writing and producing. I guess this is just part of that BTS hype. But there are many reasons Kpop isn't taken seriously in the West, and that's the rampant mediocrity of the most popular groups, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since Kpop is more than music. That's a model that generally doesn't work here (I mean, yes there's Cardi B and all, but you get me). BTS won't wow anyone musically nor will they get much credit for their outstanding writing/producing/lyrical talent/creativity because there's almost none, and the little there is is okay at best. No, they're not The Beatles, their music will never be half as good. I'm reminded of Blackpink's Time Square performance when everyone was bashing them and for good reason, since they sucked ass. DDDD wasn't really mindblowing, it was a catchy song and what made people expectant was the performance, yet they failed to deliver. It's not really their fault because they're good at being idols/models, not performers. No, you're not gonna tell me they have any talented member other than Lisa, who can dance and that's it.
  17. Aren't you ashamed of trying this hard to seem *witty* yet failing miserably?
  18. I'm really so sad Azealia Banks is out of the game and has seen her mental health condition deteriorate considerably over the course of the last years. I mean, yes, she got into petty fights, which wasn't really the best thing to help her career, but they made things extremely entertaining. I could spend about an hour (have a really short attention span) listening to her interviews. She was also fucking hilarious. She was usually brash yet extremely eloquent; many of the things she said were spot on and would have got much praise today even though they were a tad 'daring' for the times' atmosphere: the white gays appropiating American black girls' culture and jargon, aka all that tea and shade and sis thing people now use to sound sassy that black girls were ridiculed for just less than a decade ago; the way white female rappers were putting on a show acting like the parody of the oversexualised, ignorant black woman, the lack of creativity and independence in the music industry, the joke that the Grammys had turned into... She's also one of the absolute best rappers of this generation and would have gotten her due recognition had she been more sensible. Killer flow, genius lyricism, great delivery, extremely creative, varied and enjoyable if you don't mind uncouthness. It's sad both for her as a person and as a musician because i don't really have much hope set on her career getting anywhere as of now (and I really wish I was wrong).
  19. Yet you take the time to read them and even write an answer. Sure.
  20. Welp, he came up with that one brilliant argument that a hecking board certified plastic surgeon couldn't possibly tell the surgical enhancements a person had undergone simply because it wasn't his job to analyse patients' faces for potential surgeries (wtf?). And thought he had a mic drop moment or something, so that's the level we're at. Then there's his dishonest arse lying about expressing his dislike to other idols on this thread and using it to talk shit just like eeeeveryone else —who are below him, mind you—. 'I love that even Karina's beauty mark is false, that's this group in a nutshell', anyone? Also, when I used to go to the ÆSPA thread his username would always show up commenting on very harmless things, like how Winter looks like an assassine android, their botchedness or scoffing at their teasers. That's a lot for not disliking them, don't you think? He sure seems to think PS is ignoble, because he's always hell bent on protecting his waifus who don't really give a shit about what's discussed here from such 'accusations' oooops who said that. Special mention to the constant, nonsensical demeaning of other users' intellingence with comebacks as powerfully clever as that 'I don't even think you know what hypocrisy means' because only he, with his 4,7 kg brain, could possibly know the meaning and nuances to such a little known word. Let's not forget the times he gets agressive and starts threatening people on here like a rabid kid who's watched too much Goku LMFAO. What are you not afraid to end? What darkest secret have you discovered with your outstanding intuitive powers? How are you gonna get serious when you really get to talk shit? On a scale of one to ten, how scared should one be? Are you gonna subdue pleople with a cringeworthy Ryan Reinolds gif? Please, king, everything but that.
  21. I was doubting it at first but now I think you can definitely see it in her zygomatic width. Her cheekbones used to be the most prominent part of her face, which used to be diamond-shaped.
  22. I don't get why idols keep going out of their way to lie and deny the obvious. They make themselves come across as utterly insincere and unreliable. By this i don't mean they should go and list every single procedure they've had (obvs). They should just keep quiet.
  23. https://youtu.be/D6nSU83oOzQ Just watched Knowing Brother. This is what Kpop has turned into thanks to stan culture. I genuinelly don't get how Giselle could make it into ÆSPA other than being from an affluent family. How can anyone insinuate this girl is anywhere close to being able to imitate rapping and, most importantly, believe it? Has Kpop really rotten their ears/brains THAT much? Girl couldn't even enunciate properly, had trouble breathing, lost the beat five times in a space of less than half a minute... Not even the bare minimum. You know you suck when even Irene could outrap you and call it a day. As someone who really likes hiphop music and enjoys listening to some Krappers, this is an utter disgrace. This is what you sound like when you and your completely wasted friends mumble along to a song on your way home from a clubbing night. Shame on you, SM. And shame on your weird ass criteria.
