  1. if we were to go along with the technical terms, no. being both sociopath and psychopath at the same time is not possible as both are different. I'm thinking that LJY isn't a psychopath as he as shown genuine emotions in previous episodes. his past seemed to have a huge impact on his mental health. he seems textbook sociopath in the way that he disregards morals and rules of any sort and can commit crimes without feeling like he has sinned. but also seeing how the writers seemed to place a significance on his past and how that shaped him, there are chances that he's neither psychopath nor sociopath. he could just be an extremely "disturbed" individual. about Min, i'm not so sure. the writers kept referring to him as "that kind of kid" but it can have many different meanings. min has also shown genuine emotions before. ex) him breaking down after Hyun first confronted Min about his identity i haven't watched ep 16 and i've started five minutes into ep 15. we'll see
  2. i've never said her begging was "wrong". i was implying that begging wasn't a skill that would contribute to her win because i can't justify her still being in the show despite showing nothing so far. i also never said them talking about making her last was okay either. the reason why they did so because they were never really a "team". jungmoon never showed herself as a reliable team player. she doesn't have any alliances. she was probably on junseok's team because dongmin team was full and he planted her as a spy. giving her a garnet .. this just shows that junseok trusted her and the team. unfortunately for him all three member of his team ended up betraying him. exactly. he takes the spot in everyone's hearts for being such a clever person with both thinking and people skills. truly a hard to find gem in real life. i agree, the possibility of even the smartest player losing and getting eliminated by betrayal is very exciting. what would really blow everyone's mind would be either kyungran or hyunmin betraying dongmin for a win, sending him to the DM and eliminating him. ---- another thing, i was expecting kyunghoon to crown himself as the sole winner but instead he actually agrees with dongmin about the joint win. what a surprise.
  3. HAHA WHAT that caught me off guard speaking of who's left.. im glad to see my favorite players still in the game. from the preview it seems like we are going to get another ep of JDM and crew. i'm loving him so hard after crime scene and the genius
  4. i have to agree with you that jinho hasn't proven himself at all in this season. but because he was the season 1 winner, people are less likely to judge him as hard because he has proven himself before. we all know of his potential and yes, it is quite aggravating to see him stand like a wall flower. the difference between him and JM is that he doesn't have episodes of desperation. JM's actions leads people questioning whether it were really reasonable and required at all for survival. she could of stayed quiet and trusted in DM but she doesn't have any trust in others (hence the lack of team player quality in her). it makes her, as you said before, a very disposable character. it could just be the editing but jinho has had more moments of strategizing on his own compared to JM, who was blinded by her ambition for survival that she is willing to do anything for the winning team. she's shown herself as just a mere follower, and one who is willing to jump ships in just seconds to ensure her own survival. JM's convict card moment wasn't a result of her skill, but rather her greed. she wanted to survive that bad she was willingly to do anything.
  5. as i stated before, it's literally just luck. ex) junseok chose yeonseung for DM over jungmoon because she chose an odd number. how exactly would there be an element of genius-ness? so, in tangible terms, what is her genius skill? yes, she was casted for her so called intelligence but none of the viewers have yet to see her swiftly show case it (compared to other members). memorizing pi was a surprise but again, it isn't much when comparing her to the other "geniuses". i'm not exactly familiar with Mayweather so i don't have a response to that comparison edit: i just saw your signature change and i want to ask, it is really hard requesting for a badge? that's unfortunate since i was planning on getting one for kyunghoon LOL
  6. very narrow situations? anyone could of done what she did without the title of "the genius". the cast members were supposedly casted because of their intelligence and that's what people were expecting. instead, we got rounds and rounds of JM's whining. she survived alright, but she survived on partial luck and there's nothing genius about that. with what she has shown so far, it's hard to picture her snatching a main match win. the number of cast members are decreasing and if she doesn't step up her game on strategizing, she would get crushed by those who could.
  7. i'll have to admit that that is a very good skill but that alone won't ensure her survival. i'm looking at the broader picture here.
  8. because she hasn't shown any skills that seem valuable. other players who have proved themselves to have the smarts and motivation at the same time are leaving the show while Jungmoon who only seems to possess the desperation for survive is actually the one surviving. it just doesn't seem fair in anyway. she's come this far because of what again...? the other have proved themselves to have the talent and skills to potentially win. Jungmoon might be very capable of being clever but she has never shown it. instead, she begs for survival and that turns lots of people off. edit: i might want to add that everyone on the show is aiming to survive, not only Jungmoon.
  9. holy shit!!! that joint win was SO SEXY. i see i'm not the only one really irritated with Jungmoon. jesus christ, i never thought someone would stoop so low. she's desperate beyond belief and she has showed it last ep when she stuck to dongmin begging for her life. she has done it again when the other three were planning out something. she's incredibly selfish when it comes to surviving. i'm so turned off by her obvious manipulation gimmicks. Jungmoon is neither a team player, a strategist nor someone with a perfect bullshit detector like dongmin so i don't see the value in her. she needs to leave. LOL @ the background music playing when rewinding the whole Kyunghoon + DM team joint win plan. sounds like ice cream cake remix on drugs the bond that Kyungran and Dongmin has is very heart warming to see
  10. seriously? anyone who has even read the webtoon would think that Ko Kyung Pyo is MUCH more suited for this role. actually, he fits the role PERFECTLY judging from his past works and even his appearance. but atlas, connections and money speaks louder. nothing against Nam Joo Hyuk but i'm starting to loose respect for the casting directors.
  11. exactly. i actually think that their romance is very unnecessary because it just doesn't have any coherence with the main plot. i hope the write doesn't push their romance because i think Min would be very very jealous. - i've also been on and off the fence as to whether min and LJY are psychopaths or sociopaths. it's weird that he "still doesn't have a heart pulse" but the conversation LJY had with his childhood buddy made him seem more sociopath. Min is probably a sociopath so we have hope of him being "fixed/cured" out of this mentality. I just hope that the writers in this sense won't mix up the technical definitions of psychopath and sociopath since they are different things but it seems like they are already mixing both things up with each other.
  12. damn, what a bumpy ride ep 4 was. never have I thought yeonseung would commit betrayal like that. i was really annoyed with him and junseok but I really enjoy the twist and drama that made everything so unexpected. I want to see Kyung Ran betray next she's such a loyal team player that it's hard to imagine her betraying people and winning alone. i hope this served as a wake up call for hyunmin. I'm rooting for him but sometimes he can be so unaware of others since he focuses so much on strategy. he's really naive, i guess it's because he's young and what not. from this point on, it's going to be a fruitful battle. dongmin + hyunmin + jinho had already proven themselves to be clever. junseok + yeonseung + kyunghoon proved themselves worthy in this season. yoohyun is known for being clever too. I'm really curious and excited to watch the following episodes. LOL is that young kyunghoon in your signature? beautiful.
  13. omg!!! i never thought i'd be liking them this much since i'm not really a fan of cutesy concepts. i have to admit, they are like a breath of fresh air in the midst of all of these sexy concepts. i agree, she is one of the prettiest. her legs too, jesus so slim and pretty. her and yuju are my faves
  14. the cop is scaring me more and more with each episodes. he's definitely hiding something because he seems so obsessed with soon ae and her family. one thing i don't understand is how the writers would "merge" soon ae and bong sun's personas together. they seem like polar opposites but somehow they are "on the same wave-length?". and who is kangwoo supposed to actually end up with my theory is that before bong sun experienced her trauma, her personality was similar to soon ae's.
  15. i'd be seriously so sad if this happens :( I was waiting for him to take home a beautiful MM win somewhere in the latter episodes because he shined so brightly in the past seasons. but seeing what happened so far, i wouldn't be surprised at all if rumors ended out true. would pretty much break my heart though. which chinese forum did you see this on?
  16. can't wait to see this. i was so hooked with the webtoon that i finished all the released material almost in one day. i'm so glad that suzy turned down this role, for the sake of her own mental health and for the sake of everyone else. just hoping that the remaining cast member's characters would remain true to the story and be suitable for their role other wise that would just be utter annoyance. PHJ is perfect for the role.. if YJ were 5 years older though i am expecting to see him styled accordingly for this role.
  17. Exactly. the show would be unimaginably boring and predictable with nothing new from the last 3 seasons except for different cast group. we didn't get to see his gimmicks in s3. his personality was always something which was why he was casted.
  18. yeah i agree that Kyunghoon was probably very smart to begin with. i don't think he was pretending to be "dumb". it's just that his persona is too unpredictable, unreliable and not much of a stable team player. Kyunghoon is like the variable thrown into a game that suddenly throws everything into a mess forcing people to revise their original plan but naturally he doesn't come off as a threat but rather a force to be avoided because he's just too unpredictable. Sangmin was no doubt a very strong candidate with his quick understanding of the situation at any given time. it is indeed a bit disheartening to see him gone so soon because i was starting to get afraid that this would play out like s2 again where Sangmin would monopolize the game. you are spot on with Sangmin's strong skills in manipulating others. he is so good at speaking and convincing others to make deals with him but Kyunghoon in the game, literally nothing is predictable. it's amazing how a player with weak people skills would be the one to throw everyone into a mess. in the end, Kyunghoon's unpredictability won over Sangmin since Sangmin relies on reading others to gain cues to win.. but not with Kyunghoon. at this point i would say that Kyunghoon's natural strength that would give him an advantage in many situations is that he is the only player so far to be able to escape being read by the players with strong people skills, namely Dongmin. from the preview, it looks like we would be getting another episode of Kyunghoon throwing everyone off for the nth time..
  19. lollll. if this helps, I was a huge fan of AJH during his modeling days where he haven't debuted as an actor yet. I decided to type in his name on Facebook search (because why the heck not) and found his Facebook account which listed both male and female in his "interested in" section. I'm pretty darn sure that its his fb account because he wasn't well know at all and that was the only account that matched his name and picture. And I forgot to add, after he had his first acting role and became more well known, I couldn't find that fb account when I typed his name in the search box :P he might of deleted it or made it super private.
