BP's contract with Samsung ended over a year ago. I guess the article made it seem like the girls are doing this out of spite, but Jisoo's post was made like 2 days ago..over a year after the contract ended. Lisa is a vivo ambassador, and Jennie's and Rosé's posts are from around 2 months ago. The girls have been using iPhones anyway.. Anyone who sees a problem with this should hold other idols to the same standard, once they promote one product they are never allowed to be seen with another.
-
There is only one account with Jisoo's picture..why are people focusing on that? Lisa's akgaes deserve to get called out, and these comments are nothing in comparison to what usually goes on in the fandom and the amout of them willing to join in on the hatred.. Everybody knows that, these are just very few example, it's not just about the comments in the OP..

The overreaction..and you are very condescending. 16 mil isn't almost twice of 13 mil. BTS knows about the shippers, yet still reacted to BP, and they have plenty of positive reactions to BP. Once again there are a lot of these types of videos with a lot of different groups and performances. People in the comments are saying that it's fake, and I don't see the comment section being filled with people denying it. There are only those that didn't know to begin with.. Saying someone is a victim of someones face is just as rude as saying Jennie and a monster, but you are too biased. I think you interpret this video thinking of it being made with ill intent when it's something that people have been doing for quite some time just for fun.

I don't get it. There are a lot of fake K-pop reaction videos on youtube. It's cringy but I don't see what it has to do with jealousy? The most ridiculous about all of these is the tweet saying "poor" Moonbyul is a victim of Jennie's face.. Did you miss these? These edits aren't specific to Blinks and MMM.. http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2021/04/youtube-video-shows-how-scary-accurate.html http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2021/04/k-pop-idol-deepfake-videos-continue-to.html

[PANN] Netizens talk about Jennie taking on Suzy’s personal CFs
Lith replied to Youahaen's topic in Netizen Nation
Well, you did say Suzy is adapting her expressions to the mood, attributing it to her being an actress. Anyway, my comment wasn't meant as an attack if it came of that way, just simply giving some reasoning and explanation. -
[PANN] Netizens talk about Jennie taking on Suzy’s personal CFs
Lith replied to Youahaen's topic in Netizen Nation
This is the picture and vibe they were going for, if they wanted her to smile more they would've instructed her to do so, or chose the photos in which she smiles. The ones for sprite aren't official promotional pictures for niether, it was randomly picked by the poster. -
She reached 100,000 pre-orders on Ktown4u alone. It's been only 2 days since pre-orders opened. Her Chinese fans have collected enough money for 150,000 copies too, though I don't know if they already placed some of their orders.

In the MV Dahyun also had the same hairstyle as Jisoo in the picture, which of course on it's own wouldn't mean anything since it's not an unique hairstyle, however having the same hairstyle and the hanbok..how could it be such a coincidence? Because of that, it's hard to believe that they didn't know.

But she is using photoshopped pictures for the after PS. At 6:23 it's an edited picture of Jennie on the right, I even think it was a teaser. Not sure if those arrows are supposed to point at the lines around her mouth, but Jennie still has them.. Also, although she said she prefers to use pics with the same head position/angle she also said that's not always possible and proceeded to use a low quality pic and one being taken, it seems, from above at 4:20 to say she removed fat from her eye area. Everyone's eye area protrudes in an angle like that. The pic at 6:23 is in the same outfit from the same shoot in which her eye area looks the same as the after, why not use that picture? Makes her lose credibility tbh. I think it's better to make just one video talking about beauty standards, PS, and photoshop in general, maybe talking about celebrities that are open about the procedures they made and her own PS, instead of dedicating a whole channel to it, putting rumours out there. Let's not pretend people are not going to use these videos against idols, especially K-pop fans. I already saw on Pannchoa people using these videos, as an opportunity to say whatever about BP now, like Jennie and Jisoo did double eyelid surgery, Lisa her nose, eyes, lips, chin, her whole face, and if you dare to disagree, they tell you to watch her videos as a proof. Also there will always be naturally beautiful people, people with naturally good bodies, so even if some celebs did PS and one feels better about themselves because of it, what are they gonna do about those naturally beautiful people..I don't think it's the right way of thinking, but I understand where people are coming from.

There is no garanee that the lack of promotion would result in a big fandom and popularity. BP is the exception. If that was the case everyone would do the same. It would mean you have to invest less, but get more in return, so why isn't every company doing it? BB and 2ne1 also had an exclusive image, yet always attended at least some year end shows. BP would probably be bigger if he promoted them better, but people want to find excuses for their succes, so they always try to find it in the way they are promtoted. It's not just for BP, I see that for other groups too. Like they said Twice is only popular because they release a lot of music...EXO got popular because they had a hiatus..BAP lost their appeal because they released too much songs, and afterwards it was they didn't manage to be popular because they took a to long break with their lawsuit...so what is it? If a group isn't appealing, if their songs aren't appealing one can promote as much or as little as they want, and still not be popular. During their releases throughout summer they gathered so much attention and new fans..even fans of western artist listen to them, know their b sides, and some became fans..which wouldn't happen if they didn't get these songs, so no they aren't popular because of the lack of promotion, it only alows people to come up with all types of excuses.

December Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Ranking
Lith replied to Lee's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Jennie first once again. I did not expect this since she didn't do anything this month. Even on instagram she barely updated. Imagine if she actually had solo activities. Lisa has been doing well this year too. -
[pann-choa] AREN'T YOU BORED OF MALE IDOLS' CONCEPTS?
Lith replied to bye-bye's topic in Netizen Nation
I agree with your last comment, this wasn't what I was talking abot though. I'm just responding to you saying nobody says anything about ggs doing the same concept, yet it's actually pointed out often, to the point I'm surprised you've never seen it. So there is no hypocrisy here, as people are saying they're getting tired of the girl crush concept. Idk abut twitter, it certanly isn't a place to expect maturity from. -
[pann-choa] AREN'T YOU BORED OF MALE IDOLS' CONCEPTS?
Lith replied to bye-bye's topic in Netizen Nation
But they do, all the time. So many people are complaining about the girl crush concept.. Also you are kind of doing the same thing as them, just with ggs. In 2014 a lot of ggs were doing a sexy concept and people complained, in 2015-16 the cute concept was a trend, and once again people complained about it, 2018, 2019, 2020 the girl crush concept is trending and people are pointing it out all the time. For once it's pointed out about bgs and you have someone bringing ggs up.. -
mnet is struggling to complete the lineup for kingdom
Lith replied to My Everything's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Mnet pits idols against each other, treats them like c list celebrities, has a history of evil editing, is threatening companies and are known for rigging shows, on top of that the rep said it's too time consuming. People: I wish this group could join. Seems like mnet aren't the only ones not caring about idols. As long as it's entertaining I guess.. -
[Knetizen] Performance time of singers at MMA 2020
Lith replied to My Everything's topic in Netizen Nation
Right? Where does this, if it were Big3 no one would say anything, come from? One fandom especially was always talking about Big3 privilege, and how they are only popular and get everything because of their big companies, for the past few years. Even Bigbang would always get hated on for the time they got to perform, while not even being rookies and despite their huge popularity. -
Trying to please all the companies and fandoms, or trying to make the shows more interesting, since people find it ''boring'' when the same people always win. I wouldn't even care seeing how these award shows work and how ridiculous some of the awards are, but it's annoying seeing some fandoms using exactly these awards, counting the cumulatives and than putting down other groups, usually BP, for not having as much, when they get ignored for not attending, and would probably be more deserving of some of them.
-
It's kinda weird how three male rookies got to perform but not one female rookie despite winning an award.
-
Looking good.
-
No she didn't. Don't put out rumors about others even if you're just pretending to ask a question. You could just google it if you're unsure. She was removing her own boots, and Lisa decided on her own to take them off, not just hers but the cameraman's too, so obviously Lisa didn't mind it. Will never understand why people see in issue in that, especially when Lisa herself decided to do it.
-
Who says that? Is it about Lisa's solo fans? Because they are obsessed with Jennie and try to portray her in a bad light, while creating all these pity stories for Lisa and making her the victim of everything. Jennie always praises Lisa and always has.
-
It's baffling to me how openly robbed BP constantly is, and how little talks there is about it. I guess that's what happens when your korean fandom isn't big enough. There are artists who win awards despite not attending so why can't BP? Or why doesn't YG sent them then? They were robbed at tha Apan Awards the other day too.. The biggest Kpop act after BTS, the biggest girlgroup currently, while having not just one hit this year but two and still getting nothing..

You can choose to be honest or to be nice. Some are more realistic and have higher expectations of award show, others are just happy their idols won something. 2-3 years ago everyone would criticize the practice of giving away awads for attendance, now everyone is so used to it that it's not a problem anymore, and honestly that shows the standard to which these award shows are held.
