jeongyeon is very popular in korea actually, just not so much internationally. in korea people often mention her as one of the main visuals of the group and she definitely ticks all the boxes for korean beauty standards. her androgynous charm has secured her lots of fangirls, but i've never seen anyone say she looks masculine. it's more like krystal at her peak and how she was a massive heartthrob among women, while still being regarded as very feminine (as opposed to someone like amber). i personally don't see any resemblance between her and yuta/taeyong (or between yuta and taeyong themselves lol) but i assume people saying that mean it in a flattering way. yeah yuta got his nosejob before debut (i remember being taken back by how different he looked from his previous self on "abnormal summit") and it was completely unnecessary imo. his natural nose just complimented his face so much better. there's no way sm (or any company for that matter) would've let taeil debut with his original nose, but i might've actually preferred it over his current one. they both have the kind of nosejob you can spot from a mile away, even without seeing the before pics, just because of how impossibly straight and narrow at the tip compared to the base it is. it doesn't slope out towards their nostrils in a natural way, it just continues straight down to the tip, creating a very squidward-esque look.

definitely one of the best nosejobs in kpop. the before and after is kind of similar to lisa actually! they both had very wide bulbous noses originally, and then slowly over the years changed it little by little while still keeping it rather natural looking. sad that yuta and taeil got some of the worst nosejobs in comparison....

haechan's nose has gradually changed throughout the years, so it's hard to pinpoint when it started. in 2016 i don't think he'd had anything done yet, partially cause he was so young, but also cause sm just edited and contoured the fuck out of his nose, which means he looked very different in official pics vs in nct life for example. then the following year his nostrils seemed smaller and his bridge a little taller. and it's only become more and more defined ever since. it looks very natural, as if they just took his original nose, shrunk it a couple sizes, raised the bridge and defined the tip to make it less bulbous. definitely not something that can be achieved with fillers though. respectfully disagree about taeyong. his eyes are the exact same as they've always been, except maybe a little less hollow because of the fillers he gets underneath his eyes. his face shape is also the same as predebut. there's no way he got buccal fat removal because there was no fat to remove in the first place. he was a chubby child but quickly lost all the baby fat during puberty. if you look at him predebut his cheeks very already very gaunt and hollow, in fact much more hollow than they are now., which is why i'd sooner suspect he got the OPPOSITE of fat removal, aka a fat graft to seem more youthful. that could also just be bloating from the fillers he uses though.

i mostly agree, with two major exceptions: haechan has without a doubt had a nosejob aside from fillers and minor bridge work i think taeyong is all natural. all the other changes can be boiled down to puberty and weight loss, since his face was already complete in his teen years (long before joining sm) and he hasn't changed much since after that. he definitely hasn't done anything to his eyes.

i think whatever work yeri's had worked out great for her. she still looks like her old self in unedited news photos, just a more sexy and mature version. the lip fillers are obvious but other than that nothing sticks out as unusual. her nose and overall face shape is the same as ever. if anything i'd sooner suspect she may have gotten canthal tilt surgery for a more fierce cat eye (similarly to what ariana or bella hadid has had). yeri's always had big eyes, but they used to droop downwards a bit, whereas now they tilt upwards.

those are all selfies so of course the change won't be as noticable, but i watched a few fancams from this comeback and his chin is indeed way more protruding than it's ever been before (in ways i don't think you can achieve with makeup) this is even more apparent if you look at pics/videos of him from predebut, where he used to have a completely square chin. i suspect he's been using fillers for a good while now (hence the pointy chin predating this comeback) but that he decided to go the extra mile and get an implant this year.

that's what i'm wondering too! i really hope they're doing this because it's what they want and not because they think it's necessary for their advancement in the industry... i know certain sections of knetz have been quite mean about their looks ever since debut (i.e comparing them to other jyp groups) so this just makes me sad for them

no i meant the chin! he's always had a really weak jawline but the angular, protruding, dorito-shaped chin implant is new, and that makes his jawline seem even more non-existent than it already was i just dont understand why stray kids are getting all these botched, unnecessary procedures, when other jyp groups like twice or got7 has only gotten subtle, masterfully done surgeries that enhanced their natural features

without a doubt the modernized hanboks they wore this era. i can't even pick a favorite look since they're all so gorgeous and outstanding. each outfit has a different silhouette that just FITS the members individually and the colors are all distinct yet cohesive. i love the small details like incorporating a traditional thai skirt for lisa, jennie's two-toned hair matching her fit, jisoo's laced up thigh high boots, the intricate embroidery on each of the tops etc like you can tell these were HAND MADE GARMENTS not just some run of the mill fast fashion

rtk was both a blessing and a curse in this regard cause on one hand it made the preexisting troll deobis absolutely unhinged (poor pentagon did not hear the end of it) which made so many non-fans hate tbz by association... but on the bright side it also brought in a lot of new fans, which is great cause most of these edgy gg stans who have tbz as their "honorable boy group" and hate all other male idols, are really just akgaes who wanna fuck juyeon/sangyeon and don't support them in any way monetarily. i think part of the appeal for trolls to stan these nugu groups is that you can get away with saying some really vile shit that would never fly in a bigger fandom. there's no need for self-censorship or "clearing the searches" because the idols simply aren't relevant enough to even make it into the searches anyways. loona fandom used to be a cesspool of white gay men saying the most deranged shit and starting fanwars left and right, before they finally started getting more fangirls around yyxy era, and i can kinda see that happening with the boyz too now. these trolls will probably stick around until after kingdom just for the drama before they jump ship and find a new rookie boy group with somewhat flamboyant members to latch onto.
