I think this is going to differ a bit from the topic but I would like to say it anyways.
In my point of view, despite of that awful coment he said, I also think (and by this I am not, in any way, justifiying him) that any person who says a horrific coment like that is that, during their childhood they've been exposed to that kind of violence and is an open wound even during adulthood that needs to be healed and the person is not aware if it.
The girl is just a child, and children have no filter at all when they speak. Some things may same rude, but specially at that early age, I don't think it is said in bad banners.
And in some ways, some discipline is necessary, but what is not necessary is educate in violence to children and violence to be at the order of the day because if we keep educating the same way that we know in history of education, we did not learned ANYTHING about history, in this case, education history.
A new education is possible and necessary but this changes need to be done educating the family members in, for example, meetings (since the family is the first environment where the baby will be, and later go to school, or even have homeschooling, but is necessary to have conetion with other children). Later qualificated teachers and teacher helpers.
If that man said something like that, what kind of education will be giving to his children? And what would be the environment of the family and the mother? That's worriying...
