First episode, MNET tried to create some conflicting drama with their pathetic evil editing, but failed miserably. I think they focus now on more personal drama and creating "characters" which is more organic. These groups are already experienced in variety, they don't need to push some weird narrative. Also, the performances seem more than enough to carry the show.

I guess thrice. One was Herbalife, other was Amway, and the other was some juice thing. Never got into one of these nonsense.

Could you put some numbers so we can get context (like sales and unique listeners and compare to the past numbers)? Sometimes ranking number doesn't tell the full story.

Are the majority of YGE shareholders just part of YHS's gang? It's clear that YHS's puppet CEO isn't doing enough to turn things around.

Beach kinda falls apart at certain point earlier than Naruto's fall. I didn't follow Bleach after certain volume while I kinda followed it till the end and it improves a bit. In the anime I think Bleach's fillers were a tad worse than Naruto's one. The only thing Bleach may be better than Naruto is maybe the OST, as I like some OPs and EDs better, but overall I like Naruto's OST as a whole better. The right answer is One Piece deserves more recognition, but they got screwed by 4kids in the US.

Isn't the prize of the show just getting a comeback paid? I wonder if it's really worthy it to the companies to agree on these conditions. They get promotion on the show plus the possibility of the final prize and I imagine appearance fees. Wouldn't just save the time and money better spent on a comeback? Also, a budget would put the groups in the same level in terms of expenditure.

Maybe when it involves some creative insults like if you go to Brazilian forums, they are pretty creative in this aspect. There is a tradition in insult one another in certain parts of Brazil, sorta like dissing countryside music. Otherwise, it's just interesting as watching trashy people fight on streets perhaps. Sometimes messy dramas get mean spirited. It's not fun anymore.

I guess point 5 is hard to defend. Misused or lack of proper vocals can kill a song that would be better executed with different artists. The flip side is true as well, a bad song may become "good" duo to the artist than the song production itself. The rest can be more subjective as some people like it for subjective reasons as well and I could see it done well. At the same time, people like bad quality/badly produced stuff and be OK with that. People like bad movies although music stans don't quite get it as movie watchers and may not take some criticism as fandom mentality is stronger with idols. Dunno I'm not a music specialist, so I don't understand the technical aspect as much and judge music as bad or not.
