Happy birthday to the star of this Fancy You Era, Son Chaeyoung! This comeback hyped me more than any of their previous comebacks combined. I anticipated the new image and concept change as Twice advertised and when the MV and album dropped it still blew me away even if I replayed the teasers like a million times What I FANCIED in the MV and mini album release: The MV aesthetic matched the song. I don't mind that it does not have a story or plot. This MV was suited for the song. Doing otherwise would make me feel stuffed and disoriented as the song already is a disco/upbeat one. I loved that they highlighted each member and this would be helpful for new ONCE. Ms. Son Chaeyoung, you are so HOT HO HOT HOO HOO in this era. Everyone is raving about how good and sassy Chae looked in this MV. She got me hook, line and sinker! She deserves all the attention everyone has been showering her. I still can't get over how they gave her little to no lines in DTNA and YoY #justice4chae The black outfits! How will ONCE survive the live stages if they decide to wear those like in the showcase. Mina's LBD had cutouts CHANEL babies! I noticed that the stylist went for more LBDs and sleeveless attires to give off that confident mature vibe. Ok it worked for me Galactus Tzuyu holding the planets in the palm of her hands. My baby has the universe revolving around her and not the other way around. She is the center of the universe! How come Jihyo looks more and more beautiful every comeback I thought no look could top her mermaid look in DTNA but YoY came and now FANCY. The ball pit solo look was divine. It always triggered me when haters bash them for their "easy choreos" during earlier comebacks when the choreo is actually a bit tiring and more complicated than it looks. Well I would like to see them try and cover their new one. The snappy hand movements and poses gave the confident vibe they were talking about. They have various formations in this cb too I hope Sana and Momo finds their way. Grandma Nayeon will have a hard time on live stages. I FANCY YOU. Fancy is up there with Likey as one of my all time fave title tracks. Stuck In My Head is true to its title. I loved it more than I expected. Momo is definitely HOT HO HOT HOO HOO and it shows in this song. Girls like us is probably the most western type of track with Charli XCX helping Jihyo. I love its laid back vibe. Turn It Up by Sana surprised me and Strawberry is as cute as Chae. I hope Tzuyu gets to have writing credits next time, no pressure bb. The album is really a different cut from their previous releases. The result was what Twice advertised, confident and bright. I am living for this confident and bright Twice Overall this comeback has exceeded my tempered expectations and I love it.
