I actually think felix is probably straight. He sounds like a great ally, but the way he is open about the topic gives me "I care about this but it is not happening to me" vibes, personally.

In honor of Bomi + Chorong subunit debuting soon, let's talk about them to revive this thread. So. Do y'all think they dated or nah?
-
I agree with what was said about EXO a few comments back: at this point I'd say besides Sehun the only ones who have interesting tea imo are Suho, Xiumin kinda, and mayyyybe Baekhyun.

Do you guys think Holland is treated differently by the media because he's openly gay?
-
Yeah things like these is what I mean. Could they both be straight? Yes, of course. But do I think it's normal for a straight woman to have such a strong reaction, especially when this is not a a one time thing? I don't know. I start considering other options, inevitably. Lol. Also lmao at Nayeon always talking about her big hands.

I get this, but at the same time, I believe there are a LOT of bi people out there who don't even realize they are bi. I don't want to be cynical but sometimes I be talking to people who when they know I'm not straight or the topic comes up, they will admit to having done or thought about doing stuff that's... Not very straight. Like, I've had male friends admit they've been interested or wanted to try kissing some other guy at some point, but "it doesn't count" because they wouldn't actually be willing to date a man, or things like that. Or, if a "straight" woman says I'd like to try lesbian sex because it sounds fun and hot, I'm sorry but I don't believe you are as straight as you think you are. And I'm from a relatively "forward-thinking" country in terms of LGBT stuff, among young people who are not bigoted at all... Heteronormativity is just everywhere. I think cases like Sana or Nayeon could fall in that category. People who, had they been born into a completely egalitarian society, would probably be very aware of their own bisexuality, but because that's not the kind of world we live in, they may go their entire life's thinking they are completely heterosexual. I'm not saying they must fall into that category, but it is a possibility. And as I grow older, I'm more and more convinced that a LOT of the population (and I do mean a HUGE chunk of humanity) is actually bisexual, and they simply aren't fully aware of it because of heteronormative expectations.

I always think I can't have an objective opinion because I am Nayeon biased and to me she's one of the msot attractive people I've ever seen. But lately I've been thinking about fanservice and willingness to do it. I think partaking in fanservice is not a sign that someone is gay or bi. But really, I think there's something there to say about constantly being game for fake-flirting and touching your same-sex friends/group mates. Yes, it's part of their job and everything, but when we talk about idols like Sana or Nayeon, how "playful" can you get? I have straight friends who will jokingly kiss each other when drunk or at a party, just for the sake of it, for sure. But I think Nayeon just... seems to enjoy it too much. You might say that she just has a playful personality, but realistically, would a straight person find it so much "fun" to constantly run after and (fake)flirt and kiss another person of the same sex? The amount and eagerness for it seems like too much sometimes. I'm afraid I may be biased but lately I'm starting to think there must be something there. Even if she's a 1 on the kinsey scale, I think she has some attraction to women.

Not k-pop but relevant

With January first approaching, I'm awaiting Dispatch to ruin everything that I hold dear by telling me some suspected idol on this thread is dating a man, and viceversa. After Momochul I'm ready for almost anything at this point.

He's said about his sexuality: "I want to know as much of the garden as possible before I pass — I have an openness to any impulses that may arise within me at any time" So... I don't think that's something straight people are prone to say. He was also very into the idea of a bisexual Peter Parker back in the day (there's also conspiracy theory that his contract with marvel was terminated due to conflicts about this lmfao). I'm also of the opinion that just because someone is not using a given label, that doesn't change the... Physiological, behavioral, or material reality of what a certain label represents. No idol is going to come and outright say "I'm bisexual" or "I'm a lesbian", but there are cases where room for interpretation is kinda small and it doesn't matter than those specific words are not being spoken, you know? That's just my onion tho.

I don't mean to be rude but y'all need to step outside and I don't mean just literally, I mean actually consider what you are saying and how it applies to a wider context. Where I'm from, no one knows what the bi flag looks like. Not even many bisexuals.T he hyperspecific flag thing only started in recent years, and only through USA influence, so unless you both speak English and are active on English speaking lgbt spaces online, chances are you don't know anything about it. The only thing that people actually associate with being gay is the rainbow flag, end of story. Someone choosing a hat with a fuchsia-blue gradient isn't thinking about the bi flag 99% of the time, I promise you. Flag colors are a very weak receipt imo, except when it's rainbows and in a very deliberate way (like ACE's byeongkwan wearing a rainbow flag pin). This is true especially of the bi flag since it's just a very simple, very liked color gradient.

Please do post more tea if you have it! Any tea from any group/idol/celeb is welcome because we are all nosy as hell!

if hwanwoong isn't gay I'll eat my own hands

You just can't fake this sound of sheer disgust at the mention of intimacy with the opposite sex. It really came from her deepest insides lmfao https://youtube.com/shorts/LHuiwK_uT8Y?

Regarding Xiumin, I don't think he has a lot of receipts (although to be fair he's such a private person so that's what's to be expected of him regardless). But I must say I always thought he likes Changmin a lot, plus he always talks about how much he likes tall men. Which I don't think necessarily means anything about him, I just used to have a friend in highschool who was like that and everyone thought he was insecure about being short but later on he came out as bisexual. It simply makes me go hmm. Even though it was rumoured that he dates Sooyoung's sister, so that's something to keep in mind too.

Imo even if he only remembered him as "the eypatch kid" or forgot his name, you need to read/watch very little of black butler to know what's up tbh. Ciel is essentially the face of that genre for a reason.

It looks like a trend

Holy shit lmao. Sorry for stereotypes but when would a straight guy ever.

Tiffany is such a legend, always so vocal about her support. It's so sad this is the response she gets.

https://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/302089/20211014/blackpink-jisoos-privacy-concern-nth-room-perpetrator-cho-joo-bin.htm This is a heavy topic so beware. Apparently Cho Joo bin stalked Jisoo and said that "she doesn't meet men". I think it's kind of wild that this kind of thing is getting reported. I hope she's fine and that these rumors don't affect her (personally and professionally), because they can carry unsaid implications.
-
Just my opinion, but that screams closeted bi behavior to me. Straight people don't hit on their same sex friends, even when drunk (only in a very obvious joking context).

the sequel to the hand emoji mess
-
It might be his persona but imo Sanha seems like a very free-spirited person who genuinely doesn't care about looking sexy and stuff like that. Yeah they have no chemistry of that kind with each other and their fanservice feels kinda awkward lol. I still think that Moonbin and MJ are sus.

Agree w the other replies p much but abt Taemin it's either likes to get pegged™ or is gay(or bi) imo. And if he's straight he is very... Androgynous/non-normative abt his heterosexuality which is also pretty cool. He seems comfortable with himself either way.
