  1. wooooow. Such a stretch and overreaction. I mean it's sad that those kids did what they did but to just ban all time travel elements in media because of it is too much.

Yea acting in Just You wasn't very good. I admit i watched it mostly cus i can't resist Puff.  :chu:

Still it was cute and cheesy fun until the last quarter of the drama...

    edit:

i like how the first ~10 minutes of this drama is just (watch puff eat) food porn.

that girl jia yu ruined the last quarter

  2. What's with China and time travel? Can someone explain that to me. I've seen it mentioned somewhere else before and now i'm curious.

Don't get me started on dubbing

There's CG in a modern drama?  :derp:

I only watched the first ep of Tia's drama and it wasn't bad. The first few minutes made me want to quit it immediately because of the terrible forced laughing. But it was kinda cute and i wanted to watch the next ep. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. If you liked Just You or bored, check it out.

i think its outlawed, timetravel. yep

tia...she reminds me of bea hayden...i dont see much emotion from both of them

speaking of bea hayden, her mini drama with lee minho was boring.

i watched sun wu kong today...oh man the CG was too much

  3. Do not watch Bu Bu Jing Qing!!!!!!  Never trust Chinese ratings, tbh I still don't know how Bu Bu Jing Qing, didn't flop into the oblivion, let alone manage to top the ratings of Gong III.  Even with my biasness into consideration, it's not worth anyone's time.   The redubbing, horrible editing/CG and deleting of any time travelling mentioned scenes makes it extremely cringeworthy, not to mention how unrealistic some parts of the plot is.

Pretty much half of my friendship group watched Bu Bu Jing Qing, because we all had a bias for one of the characters, but only one person actually managed to finish it.

On another note should I start Tia's drama?  tumblr_meb710hRC51qdlkyg.gif

i like tia, but not sure if shes a good actress...

and ive heard about bu bu jing qing, looks like it was a flop :/

perfect couple might be worth watching

  4. their personalities bored me honestly. Well mostly the main guy. Liu Chuan? i don't remember but i think that's close enough.

oh liu chuan wasnt that interesting, but i liked the girl

any c dramas or taiwan dramas worth watching?

i started on prince william... but it didn't seem that good

  5. i didn't see anything in IAGW that differentiated it from other dramas. All normal drama tropes were still there. It just wasn't as cheesy as normal idol dramas (though still cheesy in it's own way).

real life can be cheesy too.

i think i liked it so much cuz i can relate to the character's personality

  6. Ohh I think that's where I had to stop.

Yeah that's partly why i like it too, it's realistic and sweet. I was kinda sick of the overly done and usual dramas bullshit so that one came at the perfect time :3

Yes! Lmao but yeah they don't look alike ... at all

    m9amgl.jpg

(^ it's their parents on the right)

    wow good looking family :O

  7. Finally someone who appreciates it for its real worth!!!

    What episode?

    im on ep 23

yes, mostly i watched it for the chemistry between the leads!!

the storyline is also pretty realistic, its nice to see what the 90s was like

and wait kristen ren is selina ren's sister?? i couldn't tell

  8. LOOOOOOOL.

It is suppose to be a comedy!

Oh, I forgot to write that the husband happens to be infatuated with her after meeting her. That's why he calls her 神仙姐姐 (fairy sister) - i assume that's what he's saying, cuz 'fairy sister' is like, the best thing you can call someone who you think is extremely bootiful.

Hrm, I'll totally watch this over Perfect Couple (sorry Wallace gege  )

ive been waiting for it to come out :)

    i like the lead actor

    he's pretty funny

  9. Finish IAGW, you .... hm no. But finish it!

(the title really didn't get any better)

    I haven't finished it but i read what happened in the last ep by accident ... ;A;

But It's not over! I heard there's gonna be a movie or something that will act as a finale

in a good way is really good, im almost finished

  10. @ Tony, you've never listened to Khalil's songs before? o:

@ michyeosso, damn doesn't that look good or what. I love the outfits that they're wearing. Joe looks so pretty and Huang Xiaoming so hot in suits *___* Even more better that the time period is set during the Republican era. Getting tired of contemporary and historicals dramas

    More info on Cruel Romance:

    [spoiler]

The drama is based off of the book, The Fate of Jinxiu (锦绣缘) by Nian Yi, both seem to be heavily focused on its heroine, but let’s not kid ourselves: in these new stills, Huang Xiaoming is the dominant force. In a way, this makes sense, since his character is described as the overbearing, authoritative, no-nonsense type.

Of course, Zuo Zhen proves to have a soft spot for Rong Jinxiu, whom he takes under his wing, thus going against his huffy claim that women are nothing but trouble. Jinxiu is a kind-hearted, wide-eyed young girl from the countryside, who went off to Shanghai to find help for her family. She ends up getting in a spot of trouble and gets acquainted with Zuo Zhen and his circle of friends and underlings.

    tumblr_n0xbgiINK91snerhxo2_500.jpg

Zuo Zhen is inexplicably drawn to Jinxiu, but unfortunately, she has a crush on his sworn younger brother, Xiang Yingdong (Kimi Qiao). This stems from a misunderstanding where Jinxiu thinks that Yingdong was the one who rescued her off the streets, when in reality, it was Zuo Zhen who saved her.

    tumblr_n0xbhcOpus1snerhxo3_500.jpg

Unfortunately for Jinxiu, Yingdong has the hots for dance hostess Yin Mingzhu (Lv Jiarong), who is actually Jinxiu’s estranged half-sister and the lover of Yingdong’s brother Xiang Hanchuan (Gardner Tse). While I never got the impression that Yingdong held any romantic feelings for Jinxiu in the novel, they may change this up a bit for the drama, just to make the love triangle more prominent and give Kimi more screen time. Hooraaaay for one-sided love!

And since there must be a villain, we have a Japanese businessman (Qi Ji), who is manipulating Mingzhu in hopes of gaining control over the Shanghai economy, presumably through her ties to Xiang Hanchuan and Zuo Zhen, both of whom are well-known entrepreneurs.

i can never get tired of historical :stare:
