  1. where is this full version of the cypher that everybody's talking about? I want to see my bb soomin's whole part.

This first episode made me appreciate Truedy, Yubin, KittiB, Heize, Sua and even Yezi.

I know many here didn't like Yezi's attitude, but I like the fact she's being herself, and not pretending. She was giving praise when it was due. Though I need to wait for a subtitled version to see what was actually going on in certain scenes where she's badly portrayed.

Oh, and Heize looks very fine and pretty to me, but ok, OH.

I'll try to explain a bit. so in the mv planning/filming scenes we see her kind of interrupting right? but like in korean there is a polite way to ask someone to repeat themselves/clarify, but instead yezi just jumps in and asks "what?" without any honorifics, which as a younger person in a group of people who barely know each other, it's rude for her to say it like that. when they are all in the van she actually does use the honorfic ~yo toward sua, but then quickly corrects herself to say it without ~yo because she's older, which is unnecessary and makes her look like a snob (it's never wrong to be polite, even if you don't "have" to be). also she keeps jumping in and arguing with input that isn't really constructive, like why are we doing it like this? we should... type of deal when everyone else has already kind of worked together and agreed how to do it.

the thing is, the reason she is being this way is that no one recognizes her as an idol. even when she first shows up heize is saying, "I didn't know who she was...I didn't have anything to say" regarding that awkward silence between them. and in the van (?) hyorin and yubin are talking about how it's helpful having someone else who knows how it is to be an idol, (she says in a confessional, "I've been doing this for 3 (?) years, I'm very good at it. I'm confident.") but they're not really saying anything about her. actually all the times that the other girls are talking about idols, they only mention yubin and hyorin.  in the mv filming when they're showing her being rude and showing her confessionals, what she's saying is, "I also have experience with doing one-takes," while everyone else is following hyorin's and yubin's advice. she's jumping in because she wants to show that she also has experience with this, but she's not doing it very kindly and she's rubbing everybody the wrong way. on camera, we never see her even tell anybody that she's an idol--I assume this happens at some point we didn't see, but possibly not even lol. no one sees/cares about her idol cred so she's trying to show off that she's knowledgeable by challenging everybody all the time.

tl;dr: no one seems to realize there are actually three idols on the show because fiestar is too nugu. yezi's overcompensation makes her look like a biotch unfortunately.

if there is any other specific part people were wondering about while waiting for subs, I can try to tell you what's going on. don't ask me to translate their raps though because they're talking too fast for me to keep up and there aren't korean subtitles at those parts lol.

  2.

I'm happy TakuJae finally got together but I was thirsting for more physical contact  :rlytearpls: Guess I shouldn't be surprised but still...Anyway I loved all the other couples' endings, with Youngjoon the daddy and Do/Doori together forever. Also I always skipped that last couple's scenes, but I'm glad they broke up because the girl never seemed happy.

  3. This last episode was perfection. The car scene was so funny I was dying, Joonyoung dragging the bag of rice was hilarious, and then the obvious TakuJae where they finally confirmed it's not all just a joke. I agree with some other posters that it seemed like Takuya was trying to push Jae off on his date to cover up the fact that he was upset! I was hoping to get an emotional Takuya moment out of it but I'm not mad about what we did see--it's nice when he isn't always bouncing off the walls with his enthusiasm. The "I like it when we're together" moment was sweet.

  4. This last episode was so cute haha. I need a gif of Youngjoon's smug-ass grin when Jinyeo's friend was wiping the knot on his head lol. And when the friend made a joke about stealing Jinyeo away and he mumbled, "But I'm the one she likes." I like the little moments where we see that he cares, too, and it's not all her.

The cooking scene between Dosi and Doori though...I could never sit there and let someone keep cooking when I knew he was scratching his balls in between   :imstupid:

And of course the Takujae was a cocktease. I agree with y'all that Takuya has to know what he's doing to some extent. I mean really with the spoon? There was barely any ice cream on there. If it was a big spoonful, sure, but he was basically eating the melted scrapings of the bottom. Come on, boy.  I'm also not in love with Takuya's acting tbh.

The other couple I really don't feel anything for. The girl is a little annoying tbh? And the guy is just blah nothing to me. Maybe it's because they get the fewest scenes? They just don't seem to have any chemistry whatsoever. I get tempted to skip their parts.

  5. Thank goodness justice was finally served, no thanks to San E. I'm happy with the end result though I wish

Kisum could have been in the top. Although I do think that Jidam is a better rapper, I'm biased. Anyway, I'm not too torn up about it since the scores were so close.

  6. I felt bad that the margin between Jessi's and Jolly V's votes were so big. I thought Jolly V did a great job. Jessi did too and I do think she deserved to win, but I have to wonder how much pre-existing bias affected the votes.

Also I love how the editors of this show are trying to make it seem like Jimin vs Cheetah is even close to being a close battle. Sorry but Cheetah wipes the floor with Jimin. Regardless of who wins, the records will show that Jimin felt the need to bring in backup dancers and Iron to get the crowd going.

If Jimin wins I'll be pissed but at this point I don't even care anymore. I think everyone knows how superior Cheetah is at this point.

  7. I felt jolly v's performance was so much more powerful than jimin's 30 second rap but okay then.  I hope that if there's another season of the show, there won't be any idol rappers. it's not that she's terrible but that she's given so much more credit than she's earned. the bias soured a lot of this show's run for me.

    my ranking:

cheetah (for the powerful message + delivery)

    jessi (great delivery)

    jolly v (great message)

    jimin (great...dancing?)

  8. The one at the top is JOHNNY - born in 1995, SM trainee for 8 years, most likely the leader, really good friends w/ EXO, from Chicago

Right below him smiling is JAEHYUN - born in 1997, probable maknae, all-arounder (singer and dancer)

Right below him on the right side is HANSOL - born in 1994, oldest hyung, unreal dancer

the guy w/ the balloon and antlers in TEN - he's Thai, born in 1996, dancer and maybe vocalist

the guy sitting is TAEYONG - born in 1995, he's gonna be the face of the group (dancer and main rapper)

the guy sitting on his lap in YUTA - born in 1995, he's full Japanese, vocalist

aww yes, that works out quite nicely. hoppin' on the hansol train. thanks!!

  9. kisum is bae so I'm thrilled that she owned the all-powerful jessi without a single error. and I lived seeing cheetah eating the whole thing up like a proud mom hahaha. still, it surprised me to see all the youtube comments dissing jessi like...hm? where were you before? lmao I'm still her fan too. some people are so hot and cold with who they support.

and I agree jolly v needs to forget about tymee. she seems like such a positive person but then she's holding on to this weird grudge that isn't even important. like just drop it and do you girl.

  10. my thoughts now that I've finally seen ep 4:

-I'm liking tymee a lot better and she should've won the song, jimin's voice didn't match seulong's at all imo

-incredibly done with san e the dickpig and jimin's constant weeping

-thank God jolly v is finally showing she has talents

-I was so disappointed in my bb kisum, wtf was that honestly

    -LOL jessie

-I was extremely underwhelmed by jace and thought cham outperformed her in the end, but I think in the end it's better cham got out of there--she showed a lot of maturity in her ending speech by admitting she was too cocky and unprepared

  11. this so show seems sooo biased.

but the public seems to be eating it up?

regardless of who wins or get to feature in most tracks, i hope Cheetah does well afterwards.cause she is amazingly talented and i love her attitude.

I think it's biased too but I'm still watching every episode as soon as it comes out. I guess the public is as thirsty for female rap domination as I am.

  12. even though it's not jimin's fault I do agree that it's really embarrassing how every male guest fawns over her, especially the host. like keep it your pants guys. even if it's scripted/exaggerated, it just reminds the audience again and again that jimin is an idol and makes it look like she only got on the show because aoa is trending. personally I think she's done pretty well (not counting episode 1, because both the intro cypher and the 100sec cypher were absolutely terrible), but not enough to win by any means. I think she's good where she is, in aoa, and I wouldn't really care if she left the show.

and I was also thinking about how it was great to see some character development from jessi. I think she kind of realized that her talent speaks for itself and she doesn't have to be hostile.

  13. just watched ep 3. holy fuck I love cheetah. I was really happy with the result of this episode. this song is the new jam for real.

how is everyone feeling about jolly v? I don't know how much I like her rapping but there's something about her that I just love. I felt she did really well on the track so I don't know why she didn't get it. jimin's voice doesn't match seulong's at all imo.

  14. Maybe we shouldn't think of sexual orientation as something completely radical? Because i am seriously doubting Luhan's love for Xiumin is completely platonic, it's possible that he isn't aware of it and that it's happening on a more inconscious level but i see something there...i think Luhan is predominantly straight and that Xiumin might be an exception? I think for some people sexual orientation is a more complex thing not quite defined...Some people spend their lives thinking they are straight and someday they meet this one person that they find themselves attracted to regardless of gender...

I also found this interesting answer of Xiumin:

Q: What type of men do you find easiest to admire?

A: This question is quite hard to answer. We’re not talking about women, but about men, so I’ve never really thought about it, it’s quite awkward!

    Same as Kyungsoo, weird answer.

I feel the same way as you!! I think sexuality is so much more fluid than people here [mostly] seem to think. Humankind made up the terms straight, gay, bisexual, etc. Feelings are feelings even if there's no one word for them.

Personally I think Luhan and Xiumin would identify as straight, but I'm pretty sure Luhan has some romantic feelings for Xiumin (and like you said, he may not even be fully aware of them). But idk if Xiumin has any feelings like that towards Luhan. I don't think so, but of course we only have what they show in public to go off of...

  15. I love zico/block b but I'm still very disappointed about what happened. it's not that I like them any less because of this but they (along with other kpop idols) clearly need to educate themselves about offensive behaviours, especially when they're headed to america to perform for loving fans who may have been made very uncomfortable or upset as a result of this "joke."

I hope they read the fans' feedback and apologize (not holding my breath here but still..).
