I dislike the fact that people are disagreeing with you. Though, that's their own opinion and we can't attack them for believing an idol or celeb are just "entertainers" in 2020.
It's for certain that people are educated in 2020, but for some reason people are blind-sighted by social issues that happens around the world and in South Korea's case—their own country. Humans are greedy, they only care for themselves, it's undeniable that a lot of social issues or world issues are well known by everyone, but many choose to avoid the existing problems. I have to agree with you that, celebrities and idols should be able to speak for themselves and support what they believe in without worrying about being "cancelled."
I can't speak for South Korea on their issues and from their perspectives, but I will be using the US as an prime example. I want to put aside's George Floyd's death for now, as the issue is not the only issue of "African-American dying to a white cop." America is messed up, there are major social issues that people are disregarding as a country. For example, most of us know that jails are not the best places in America, over crowded, poor living conditions, and people with mental health issues are put into jails for acting up. In fact, the living condition of jails are so horrible people choose to act up in jail so they can be placed into prison. Though, are there people protesting and rioting for the sake of these convicts or people waiting for trial in jail? No, cause people believe they deserve it, and people just want to have their own perfect life. Prison rapes? This is also another issue that as a country people are ignoring, cause people believe they deserve it. I want to note that most prisoners went through a lot in life, raised in a bad environment, made mistakes, mental health issues, and there's a lot more to it.
Now back to Floyd's death, Floyd's death was unjustifiable and people saw it with their own eyes. It became wide-spread and that's why people are angry for change, but no one cares about the convicts in jails and prisoners who are being affected by COVID-19 (another issue). Floyd's death isn't a race to race issue anymore, over the past years there has been hundreds of death caused by cops. Has anything changed? Clearly, nothing has changed and that is why America is on a riot and hoping for change. Hoping that the criminal justice system or joining the law enforcement will become more strict, instead of just being 3-4 months of training.
Now in South Korea, social issues are clear with the Nth room, burning sun, suicidal issues. These are all great examples of deep rooted social issues that will continue to go on. Why? Because no one speaks up about it, idols and celebrities have the power for a country to change as a whole. If no one speaks up, and if a country doesn't unite then nothing will change. Nth room will never be the last case until the country change as a whole. Therefore, celebrities and idols needs to speak up for the sake of their own country and to not be afraid. So fuck all of you who thinks celebs should just be entertainers when celebs have the power for change.

Yes, and I ain't defending him for the things he said in the gay thread. But how can a single mistake outweigh all the good things he did for OH? I don't think anyone could claim anything negative about him until a few days ago. I personally appreciate the effort he put into OH for basically nothing & I think it's just mean to not do so...

What does it have to do with the age 18 tho? Did I mention it? I just said that he must have grown up during the span of 10 years. And let's be honest, he had been moderating OH perfectly for years until the last a few days & it shows a lot about how nice of a man he grew up to. Ppl can make mistakes & the mistake he did on that gay thread was a big one. But does it outweigh all the good things he did for OH?

Did he do that tho? I think it was a rather sarcastic response he gave to another user. Correct me if I'm wrong...
Doesn't matter how well of a job he did on a forum, I mean he did sign up for it. Though no one asked him to show his homophobe side and insult people
As if respect should be given to someone that's just a two face like him.

^^ You snapped oppar !!!

According to his profile, he was just a 17 y/o teenager back then. And you know what? Ppl do change over time...
When your faves get exposed for doing messy shit as teenagers, y'all go like '' But s/he was just a hormonally driven teenager back then'' but somehow it doesn't apply for real life cases

It was made clear that he did not change, change for the worse... yes

But I did apologize, and I gave explanations as to what led to my initial response. That's the most important thing. Context is important, not simply getting an apology that would also just sound insincere. Had I just said "I'm sorry" and that's it, how many of you would have believed it for what it was? Nobody. That's why this is a lose-lose situation, regardless of how I apologized, nobody would be happy. I wanted to provide context, a history of what led up to my original response, and I also apologized. If you aren't happy with that there really isn't anything else I can do.
Apologizing doesn't mean anything if you didn't learn your lesson, this is why people are still criticizing you for your actions. You being a so-called sarcastic person, what you said yourself, only makes any situation worse. Get it straight, you're a grown man, speak formally stop pulling a passive voice in your "apology" letter.
How hard is it to write a paragraph to sincerely apologize, stop trying to reason with why and what happened, are you Logan Paul's brother? Everyone saw the receipts from a different perspective that's more believable, no one trusts you at this point.

Honest observable opinion: When I saw a gif version of this on OH, in my mind I thought who was the girl in the center "Is this a new solo artist??" Then I realized it was Dreamcatcher and started listening to PIRI, the song is a bop.
