You are absolutely right. I feel that for some reason people really easily spread these rumors that many idols comes from rich families. Often based on really light evidence or just simply some random rumors that came out of nowhere. Thing are often also exaggerated like if we know some idols dad is a lawyer people act like they come from really rich family as if they were multimillionaires. Is that possible yes it is but much more likely the dad is just your average lawyer earning 100k USD a year and not millions or many hundreds of thousands a year. Maybe that is why I have often seen people saying nowadays almost all idols comes from rich families or you have to be rich to be an idol etc...

Yeah I got that pretty fast when I went to MDL and saw this being highest rated drama and thought OMG I must watch this but then when I read people comments and reviews there I kinda realized this probably isn't going to be another top level drama like Nirvana in Fire or Ming Lan for me since the big focus and why this seemed to be best thing ever to so many people was the main leads "bromance" which I don't really care about that much. This kinda reminded me of the situation I had with the drama Guardian last year. It had high rating and I saw some hype around it so I decided to watch it but to me it wasn't that good. It also had that main leads "bromance" thing going on where a lot of the hype and high ratings probably came from. So i learnt my lesson.

Just finished watching it last week and it was pretty good but nothing that special in my opinion. So I know I am disagreeing with many people who think this is best thing ever and a top level drama but to me it was just solid 8/10 would have given it 8.5/10 if the fights were better.

I know you only seem to care about IU but anyway the line "which needs 2 days to justify the expense, so at least 90,000 people have to pay north of $110 to get in." I don't think that is right since many of those you mentioned didn't held 2 days concert there or held sold out max capacity 45k people concert. Also I bet most of them didn't have that expensive +110USD tickets either. For example if i remember right both BTS and EXO concert tickets were 110,000 won which is around 92USD. In my opinion anyone who can who can sell at least 35k tickets in Seoul could hold successful concert there if they felt like it. So out of current groups who still haven't performed there the only one who could do that at the moment is Seventeen since earlier this year they performed 3 sold out concert at Olympic Gymnastics Arena for total of 39k people and I think their popularity is still rising. When it comes to IU you maybe right it is not that far-fetched especially if her popularity keep rising even more next couple of years. I mean look at her upcoming tour she is having 6 concert at 4 different cities in Korea in November and those concert's total attendance is going to be easily over 35k people if it sold out which I think it will. So IU holding concert there in the future may just be matter of whether she feel like it or not. Do she want to hold concert there or does she prefer to always keep holding multiple day concerts at smaller venues in multiple cities.

I also heard idols born in 1992 like Jin or Baekhyun for example have to enlist during next year because the max age you could push back your enlistment was recently changed from 30yo to 28yo. Like this year we are still in this transition period to the new rules but you can still see that most idols born in 1991 have already enlisted this year there is only few left. So I think there is high change of Jin enlisting next year. Like yes maybe in theory it is possible to push it back all the way a day before you turn 29yo but what I have seen most idols have gone before they even turn to that max age you can push it back or at least really soon after.

OMG they haven't even debuted yet and only going to have 5 songs like what are they gonna perform in those concerts? They said these are proper concerts not some small showcases right? Is the setlist going to be: 5 SuperM songs Baekhyun and Taemin own solo songs Taeyong and Ten SMstation songs and together Baby Don't Stop Mark and Taeyong Mad City some more cover/special stages for Kai, Lucas and Mark. Honestly if it was like that this concert would so awesome and i would love to go but I highly doubt it.

I am happy that they are having a proper solo concert but like everyone have been saying the venue is definitely too small for them.
