Yea, he's alot like Jaejoong too. Though Jaejoong and Heechul also have alot in common, they've been close friends for as long as they have for a reason. I think Tao is like a fusion of the two. They should form a club and teach Tao their ways. No way has Heechul always been confident though.

I agree Tao is more clueless (I don't think he's conscious of keeping an image or as media savvy as Heechul naturally is) but in terms of confidence, Heechul had alot of self-esteem issues during his time in SJ and he admitted as much. He even almost left the group before because of it. There was a period of time where he seemed really in a slump emotionally and he couldn't hide it. I think now that he's older, he probably doesn't have those issues anymore and the confidence he shows now is more genuine as opposed to the somewhat of a front it was in his younger days (this is another way him and Tao can relate so I'm hoping in time, Tao also gets over his insecurities and comes to really believe himself). They're very different people but they have alot of similarities as well. I think if they met, they'd be able to relate well to each other.

I've always said that Tao is very much the Heechul of EXO. They are really alike in terms of being very blunt, honest, and straight to the point. They also happen to elicit very polarizing reactions from people because of it. I think they'd get along well.

That's so true. I mean the essays that come out of people whenever Tao is brought up in any capacity is astounding. But what you said makes sense because sometimes I do something similar in that I tend to get a vibe of how the other members are or what their real personalities are like based on how Tao reacts to them because like you said, he really is easy to read and on top of that, he's also really really genuine and can't hide his emotions to save his life. So I think it's easier to get a better picture on things by looking at him than any other member. But as you said, sometimes people take it too far and that's what I find annoying. Not everything he does has some deeper meaning to it, sometimes people just need to let the guy be. From what I've read, apparently people have seen Kris act differently around Tao when the cameras aren't looking. Like more attentive and soft towards him. So that got people speculating even more on possible feelings that Kris might have for him or something along those lines. I don't agree with it but who knows.

Well, it's not like Kris didn't play along though I think Tao was more genuine about it. Still I think both played up their interactions last year for shows (and this year as well). I don't doubt their closeness at all but I think they both knew that people like their interactions so they talked about each other alot. Tao more so but kid is always dramatic. He even made Kris cry on national television. I figure for Tao to be as intense about Kris as he is, Kris probably gave him reasons to be that way and most likely off camera. Kris isn't the type to show his emotions for the most part so it's hard to say if whatever those feelings were mutual or one sided. Tao is the same with Suho, always praising him and practically worshiping the dude but Suho is easier to read so you know he feels as strongly about Tao as Tao does to him. I don't rule out that he might have crushed on him though. It's possible.

From what I've seen, I don't think most people think Kris is gay. More that he's gay for Tao. I guess. I don't know, people over analyze every aspect of Tao and his relationships with other members is no exception. I haven't seen as many analysis' of EXO ships and as in depth as I have seen with Tao ships for whatever reason. I mean people were tracking when Taohun wore their apparent "couple" bracelets or when Taoris were wearing matching jewelry for weeks, like really detailed stuff. It's odd. I still don't think Tao ever pined for Kris sexually. He obviously admired him alot but I always saw it as how a little brother looks up to their big brother, mainly because I have a real life example of that so I never saw it as anything sexual. Plus him being gay doesn't mean that he's pining for someone just because he praises him all the time. He seems to spread out his time with alot of members so not sure why anyone would think he's not spending enough time with certain members. He always with Kris, Sehun, and Suho (and Luhan and Baek but not as much). Shippers just over think some things.

I wouldn't say he's the straightest member. I think he's straight but Kris is, to me, the hardest member to read in terms of pretty much everything including his feelings (I don't mean romantic ones though, just in general) regarding Tao other than they're obviously best friends. He's pretty damn good at always showing just enough but never too much of himself so he always has some air of mystery behind him. So if he ever did have feelings for the same sex at some point in time, I wouldn't be surprised. I can't say for sure exactly what he is but for now I get a strong straight vibe from him. In terms of this thread, I think some may have had similar sentiments regarding Kris if I'm not mistaken, that he can be confusing sometimes. I don't think there is anything there between them romantically nor have I ever thought either was attracted to the other in that way, but I can understand why people would think so. Kris is just different around Tao. Like he has a soft spot for him that he doesn't have for the other members or he'll tolerate more with him than he would with the others. But I think that's more of a brotherly bond than anything else. Still they're close in a way that Kris isn't with the others so I can understand why Kris might confuse some people. Plus he really tries to play up the pairing on Chinese shows with all those blatant sexual innuendos because he knows people like it. I also don't think they've grown distant this year or whatever else people say, they seem just as tight but now it's OT12 so obviously they're gonna spend some time with other members as well. They can't be together every waking moment. I think shippers just think too deeply about some things and make it more than it is. I saw some posts about how Taoris is arguing and blah blah blah because "OMG they didn't interact in an award show" or "OMG they're not wearing matching neckless' anymore." People need to relax. I doubt they argue as much as people think they do. And I doubt Tao's friendship with Sehun has anything to do with his friendship with Kris. He was close to both before debut.

Honestly, I still think Heechul is bisexual rather than full on gay. Maybe I'm the only one but I believe him when he says he's attracted to girls. He never came across as the type to bullshit about what he likes and doesn't like. He would probably just stay quite if he really didn't feel that way. But who knows.

1.) He's the most affectionate with them because he's the closest to them. He is always with atleast one of those three. Always. Luhan and Baek are also really close to him but he has a bickering relationship with them where they're affectionate but they show it by being bitchy to each other instead of being touchy and sweet like he is with the other three. 2.) People usually only talk about Taohun here because their relationship or how they are together is clearly different from how they are with anyone else in the group. Taoris is one of the biggest ships in the EXO fandom but in here I think most people think it's a brotherly love they share more than anything else and with Suho, it's clear Tao really loves him as a leader and a caregiver. He even updated his weibo talking about how Suho was the one person who can make him feel better when something goes wrong and how he loved his "Omma." Tao is someone that loves to love and loves to be loved. That's just who he is and he's so damn easy to read. So when someone shows him that kind of affection, he's seems to genuinely appreciate it...which why I think he expresses his love for Kris and Suho every chance he gets and in such a dramatic way. I think he's just really thankful that they care for him the way they do and have the patience to deal with a personality as sensitive as his. Probably similar to his parents maybe? Might explain his overt attachment to them and them to him. But I can't see him seeing them as anything more than that and vice versa. Tao and Sehun are a different story and their interactions are just different. Tao doesn't express his affection for him in the same way as he does for Kris and Suho.....as in he does it mainly by action and rarely by words and same for Sehun. And they both seem to be the ones to have the highest chance of being gay so I think that puts them on people's radar more than other Tao ships. I don't think they're legit per say but it wouldn't surprise me if there is something there. I don't know what that something is though.

Kai is way too skinny for me. He has a very adolescent looking body so I can't see him in that way. Tao has that tall, muscular, lean, athletic body type that is generally favored.
