Most likely from hardcore Taoris and Hunhan shippers. When Sehun went to Qingdao, tumblr/twitter was full of butthurt Taoris and Hunhan shippers with full on analysis of why this was happening and blah blah blah

The first two were likely on purpose, he probably saw it on his feed and liked it. I think he's liked other members pictures before if I'm not mistaken so I don't make too much of it. The last one I'm pretty positive was by accident.

That whole thing doesn't make sense other than the communication part. I always figured they got picked because they tend to be the most photogenic of the group (well mainly Tao and Sehun).

You're never gonna get shippy interactions with Tao, he's too genuine. Probably why people find him so shippable

Yea, they have them but it's not as much as the MAMA era because Tao spends most of his time with certain members and Lay keeps to himself alot in general. He doesn't seem particularly close to anyone (closest is Luhan but even then Luhan seems closer to Xiumin) but he might be more of a behind the scenes type of guy.

My third fav Tao ship. So cute. I find Tao to be the most shippable of all the members, he seems to be the member that alot of the other members are closest to or one of the closest to.

Well I don't know if Showtime is the best way to judge since Sehun doesn't have anywhere near as much screentime as Tao on the show (or ever really) so I think it's always easier to pick up on Tao if you look at shows since he gets alot of attention in them whereas Sehun doesn't. If you go based on fancams, I'd say Sehun lets it out pretty often. But I agree they both have their moments.

Well don't feel too sad, for as many people that dislike him, there are 10x more that love him. Plus I feel like Tao is the type that he's hit or miss for people who watch him through the computer screen but charms his way if you were to actually meet him. Everyone who's ever met him seems to love him, he even makes friends with staff members lol and is already friends with so many idols and celebrities. I feel like he has a certain magnetic quality that people find hard to ignore. And honestly, even if he gets some negative attention, atleast he gets attention.

Well Tao is one of my favorites, but not my main bias. My bias is Chen, and then after him it's a mix of some members with Tao being up there. Personally, I find him the most interesting member and I think alot of people, whether they hate him or love him, do too. It's why he's probably the most talked about member and gets so much attention. His personality is one where people either really love him or really can't stand him, not much room for indifference. And his personalty gives way for alot of over-analyzation, so everything he says and does is picked apart by people more than probably any other member. It's annoying but it's also what makes him fascinating. I can get why people get carried away about him, he's fun to discuss.

I know how you feel. Tao isn't my bias but so many people here really cross the line with him so I always feel protective of him and feel like I end up talking about him 95% of the time rather than my own bias just to defend him. I'm objective towards him so I can understand some of the criticism but he brings out such strong reactions from people and alot of it is the negative that I feel like I need to say something to remind people that he has his good points too and it ends up making me like him more. He has alot of fans but I think on this board, most of them are kinda over the hate for him and don't bother responding to those threads because they know what it will turn into so all that's left is the hater comments. It's annoying and after awhile it's get boring with the same people repeating the same stuff but I've just learned to kind of laugh it off now. People are just so extreme with him, it's kinda fun how he riles certain people up.

Tao didn't write this. It's fake. Someone just wrote it as part of like a fanfic thing they thought of when they saw the picture but it's not Tao's actual words. What? Sehun isn't put on any pedestal by Korean fans so whether Tao was good-looking enough for him probably doesn't matter to most since they hardly pay Sehun much attention to begin with. The only Chinese fans that have a problem with Taohun are hardcore Hunhan shippers and that's a minority considering Tao has one of the biggest Chinese fanbases. I don't think SM is pushing them at all but I think there is definitely a market for them if they're actively pushed and they're looking to make a new pairing happen. Hunhan is dead everywhere but China (they're still in the MAMA era in almost every aspect), Baekyeol is dry, and Taoris is still a mainstay (especially in variety) but not as intense as it used to be. So I can see Taohun becoming a bigger deal in the future, especially because it reinforces the whole "we are one" shtick when you have the two maknaes from each sub group of different nationalities being the bffs of EXO. Can't say that it wouldn't make for a good storyline (even if it's actually true).

Does that make sense? Lol. Just considering the climate they live in, it's odd for them to act the way they do and actually be for real. Maybe I'm considering too much from what I would do in the situation. Yea, I figured but I didn't know if she was referring to things she specially knows or just in general. This trip in itself I don't think is that big of a deal (though I don't know Chinese customs so maybe it is?) but I think the accumulation of Taohun stuff from before with this trip can be compelling I guess.

Kinda OT but It's so funny that Tao came to pick him up with two Mercedes, one for their luggage and one for them to ride on (the two cars in the gif). Because one was obviously not enough. I can't with this kid. But his parents might know, from what I've heard, they seem the loving type but even then you never know how they'll react to something like homosexuality since it's such a taboo topic in alot of places. The whole Taohun thing is cute but I think it's getting blown out of proportion (not here but everywhere else). People on twitter/tumblr are legitimately dissecting every aspect of them and Taoris/Hunhan because of this trip. It's just not that serious.

I just checked out the Taohun tag, lawd people are going cray cray. I mean Taemin and Kai in Japan are hanging out together so I don't know, it could very well just be a friend thing. Yes, he's with his parents.
