Anyways, Tao and Kai interactions aren't actually that rare. I mean they're not the closest to each other but the maknae line in general seem to have their own thing going on sometimes. Kai just keeps to himself more than the other two.

So if I started calling you a fag that would be alright?

 

Some people don't have a problem with that term depending on what context it's used in, what the intentions behind it are, and/or how close people are to each other. It's not an exclusively offensive term.

Being uninterested in women is no sign, as is being friendly with them. Ever heard of fag hags? (soo offensive) Some gay guys love women, they just aren't attracted to them.

 

I meant interested as in attracted to them. He seemed like he was attracted to some of the females he's interacted with, not all but some. He can be pretty flirtatious with them and then there's other he didn't seem to care that much for.

None of the members have given me the indication that they're gay, they all seem fairly into women given their interactions with them and they do have alot of that compared to other boy groups so I think it's easier to tell with them. I know N gets thrown out there sometimes and I can understand why, he can fit certain stereotypes well but he seems genuinely interested in women when he's around them and with men, he doesn't seem particularly into them in a sexual way. He can just be sassy sometimes but in terms of genuine attraction, I think he's into women. Who knows though, he could be bi.

Yes, Tao is like a clingy Koala bear with him and seems really obedient compared to the other members. It's weird, Suho and Kris really do act like the mom and dad and Tao really does act like their son based on how he interacts with each lol

I think in general alot of the members' jokes are taken too seriously, that's why the more talkative members like Baek, Chanyeol, and Tao tend to get misunderstood alot of times with things they say (from intl fans atleast). People just blow it out of proportion. I'm assuming it has to do mainly with the fandom being relatively young so everything is just made to be more dramatic than it actually is. Compared to the insults I've seen from other groups, EXO are actually pretty tame with their teasing lol.

I'm one of those sensitive ones. I've had friendship like that so I don't know why I found the teasing annoying. Maybe it's because I used to get teased as I was learning Swahili and it really set me back a lot. Baekhyun does care about Tao and vice versa and it's really nice seeing it.

 

I didn't know they had so many moments together though. I'm starting to really ship them.

 

I mean I can understand that sometimes it seems like he does it incessantly or a little too much but people seem to get mad at him because of the content and I don't think he's actually said anything out of line or out of malicious and I think people don't take into account Tao's reaction and moreso how they feel about it themselves...projecting their feelings onto him I guess. There's alot of times where Baek is actually really encouraging to Tao with his Korean or just in general, he honestly has alot of patience with him. Just people seem to focus when he teases him more so it tends to give a skewed view of things.

Anyways, interesting that some people didn't know Baek and Tao were so close. I always find it weird when some people in the fandom (in general) have questioned their friendship or how close they are, Tao seems to be Baek's favorite maknae...he doesn't pay nearly as much attention to most other members as much as he does Tao.

 

In terms of how people tend to get annoyed Baek about the teasing, honestly I've found that some people in the fandom are just either extremely sensitive or don't really understand sarcasm well because what Baek does to Tao is totally normal. Almost every close friendship I've been apart of or have witnessed has alot of teasing and sarcasm involved, I myself am extremely sarcastic in real life and the things I say would probably make me seem like an utter bitch if people have such a problem with what Baek says bc he's honestly pretty tame compared to what I'm used to. Neither seems to take it seriously so I'm not really sure why some have such a problem with it. I feel like sometimes people are just looking for something to bitch at.

 

Anyone can tell they both really like each other and that it's all in good fun. I doubt Tao is going home crying himself to sleep about it. He seems ultra attached to Baek anyways so people should probably take that as a hint that maayyybbeee Tao doesn't actually mind and has a better sense of humor then some fans do.

Yea, he said he was prepping for the new album but the comeback is still most likely gonna be a long while from now. They only just really started prepping, it takes months for everything to get finished so I wouldn't expect anything until the second half of the year or close to it (like around April) unless they rush things.

Some of you are being so ridiculous right now. I’m all for shipping (clearly), but you shouldn't be attacking Lovergurl just because she doesn't think Taohun are boning each other every night. Listen, as much as shipping can be fun, it is not an established fact that Taohun are in a relationship and some of you should really stop acting like it is. I don't follow EXO so I don't have an opinion either way, but not even I act like it's a fact that Myungsoo and Sungjong are dating and I'm one of the biggest Myungjong shippers out there. Some of you have resorted to saying some really shitty things and frankly I think you need to stop.

 

What's really funny about all this is that if Taohun were ever confirmed to be real, I'd probably be the first one jumping for joy and hoping to get an invite to their wedding   I'd love nothing more than for them (and Myungjong) to be real and have some grand love story to go with it but I just don't think it's at that level yet. Nah, I've disagreed with you before but your posts are hardly the reason I post in this thread or the only one I reply to. I'm fairly certain I've had lengthy discussions with many in this thread, both with agreeable and disagreeable views so don't consider yourself all that important.

I don't have a problem. I think the likelihood of them being a legitimate couple at this stage is slim and while there is alot of evidence to suggest that they're attracted to each other and obviously close, there isn't enough to say they're dating. Alot of the "evidence" people use to say they're definitely a couple is stuff that can be explained, things that can happen between really close friends so I feel alot of people just jump the gun and come up with alot of assumption with them and run with it. Given how popular the ship is getting, stuff like that can get really annoying really quick.

But it's like it's your mission to contradict everything about TaoHun. It's like they could be having sex right in front on of you and you'd find an excuse for it.

 

A lot of people can see something suspicious with TaoHun though. It's not jumping to conclusions. It's accepting that occasionally idols are gay and will fall in love. Not too uncommon. And I have never shipped anyone before. I saw they were obviously dating first from a video in here, and then it went from there. I don't have to ship them because they ship themselves.

Erm, no that's not the only thing I post about. I mainly post about Taohun and EXO, yes, because they're the most talked about in here and they're the only ones that I really follow of the main idols that are discussed here so I chime in when I feel like it. It's not some mission to contradict everything about Taohun, but like I said people get carried away with them and that's when sometimes I want to comment to bring another perspective instead of everyone being like "omgzthey'reinLOVE" all the time. Honestly, what you're accusing me of is no different than how you always post about how in love they are or how great their relationship is. We just disagree on certain things about them. It's not about discrediting them, it's about being realistic about them because people get so carried away about them in here. I don't know how many times I have to say that I think both of them are gay and that there is a high chance they're into each other given how they are around each other so no I don't discredit them. But I'm also not going to jump to all these conclusions about "their love" and how strong their relationship is etc based on certain events. People are allowed to believe what they want but I just think people can take it down a notch when it comes to them and not see things through their shipper eyes all the time. Mainly Hunhan shippers, Tao's Weibo was full of bad comments like how he mistreated Sehun and he wasn't worth him, that the things he did in Qingdao he could have done in Korea...   So Tao changed his status to something depressing and commented ''What do you guys do when you're upset?'' or something like that, if someone makes Tao upset again I'll slap a bitch. Oh, and his little apple heart DP. Many fans made their own apple hearts to support him!

Tao browses Weibo all the time on his own. Chinese fans are aware of this. Tao looks himself (and Sehun) up all the time. If it was an accident he would have needed to say that his finger slipped. And these are only the times that he was caught.

 

Obviously he browses on his own but there are also alot of times where fans will send him alot of things in the comments section (which he reads often), some of them happen to be inappropriate or shipping related. I don't doubt he's looked himself up or Sehun or other members, just that it's also highly likely some things were sent to him as well or he ran across them as he was searching himself. Like I said the first two seemed on purpose, but the fanfic was most likely a finger slip which is possible. He could have looked up taohun, but I doubt he was trying to read fanfics about them.

Well I don't care to pull in other ships, just saying that that's where alot of the bashing comes from in terms of Taohun or ships in general, when people take shipping a little too seriously and feel their ship is being "threatened" you could say.
