I feel like I have more faith in his fanbase size than some of his own stans lol. Just know that he's really loved guys, more than you think he is. Trust me. Like in Malaysia, he's actually had articles written about him aside from the main group and he's been featured in articles and such that other members haven't. There's alot of stories like that about him but I guess some of his fans here don't know. It's just that his stans are more to themselves so they're not as out there as say Luhan stans and they don't really worry too much about insignificant things like random polls and such. But they go full force for him when it's something important. He and his stans got it good. I wish Chen was as loved lol.

The main big bday project (which has like around 15? of his fansites collabing) hasn't released the amount yet as far as I know (I could be wrong on that though) but like he has some other minor ones on the side collecting money for him and one of them made like over 20K in like 20 days or something like that so you can imagine how much the big projects are gonna raise. Last year, his bday happened when some tragedy happened in China so his fanbase decided to donate most of his bday money to charity in his name instead. So this year, they're going all out for him. I hope Chen gets something like this lol

I forgot to mention that Tao's baidu/weibo followers always have the biggest increases after a Chinese appearance (I'm assuming because of the screentime he gets) so I think Chinese promotions will do him even more good for this comeback. Especially since everyone on weibo was spazzing about his new hair and how manly/handsome he looks.

Nah, he's def surpassed Lay along time ago. I was talking to C-fans and like in Chinese stores, they tend to have alot of Luhan merchandise, a good amount of Kris and Tao and sometimes they won't even have any of Lay's. Plus Tao has the most weibo followers (which doesn't mean as much except for the fact that he's the only one to have it verified by Sina so it puts his name out there that much more and he's been trending alot lately. Like just yesterday his EXO-M update was trending 4th for awhile and trending topics and comments say more about popularity). Baidu isn't used as much anymore so I don't think it's that accurate to use since most of the stans stay in weibo, especially Tao's since he's actually active there. But I mean he does have the second most followers so /shrugs. I'd say right now it's Luhan>Kris/Tao (I think it depends on the province/city)>Lay>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everyone else.

He's def like 2nd or 3rd actually (at this point he's atleast on par with Kris). According to C-fans (and weibo/baidu/trending topics). Lay is forth. Anyways, I think him crying is more of just because the show was ending. I doubt it had much to do with his popularity there or anything. He always cries.

I've talked to several J-fans who live in Japan and are fans of EXO. Tao and Luhan are the most popular with Kai rounding out the top 3. They all say the same thing and most of them are stans of other members so they're not being biased. He also has a ton of fanboys in Japan, alot of them cosplay as him because they think he is handsome. There is one really famous one on weibo actually. He looks just like Tao. Nah, these polls aren't accurate at all. Lay is one of the least popular in Japan, trust me. The reason why he's up there is because C-fans got wind of the polls and then alot of C-line fans started botting the poll. There were like instructions on weibo at the time on how to vote multiple times and stuff and Lay fans cared the most. Don't take these kinds of polls seriously, they're never accurate.

From the moments I've seen anyways, or atleast it was a mutual thing. Tao doesn't seem to focus all that much on one particular individual so whoever wants his attention, he'll give it but otherwise he's kinda all over the place socializing to really care. That's the impression I get atleast

Disagree that it's more one-sided. Actually Kai probably does more of the initiating in their interactions than Tao. Kai is more of a lone wolf though while Tao is the type to talk to anyone that breathes so it's not gonna show as much as other pairings. I think Taokai have their own thing separate from anything involving Sehun.

I'm not all that into fanfics but from what I've heard, Taoris has some of the best authors and stories (and def the best fanart, damn). I think Kaisoo too? Alot of theories and speculations on that. It gets pretty detailed and I don't wanna derail the thread with it but you can pm if you're interested. But Tao definitely didn't get Sehun that black Tiffany's ring. That was a fan gift.

Can I just say Sehun is really lucky to be close to someone who is a pro at social networking. The guy doesn't even speak Chinese and he spends time with high-profile celebs even the rest of chine-line don't get to. Sehun is typically like on the other end of the spectrum when it comes to networking so he livin' that good life right now.

Yea, we're gonna have to disagree on that lol. The Heirs was one of the worst dramas I've ever seen, I could barely make it 1/4th of the way which sucks bc Lee Minho is not bad if he's given a good drama (I really liked City Hunter). And that female lead is one of the worst actress', she ruins everything I've seen her in. But to each their own
