I think 2NE1 isn’t making the same money they were when they were in the group but only two members are better off financially, CL and Dara. I’ve noticed that since the disbandment CL and Dara have kept their same expensive wardrobe attire as before and have the same luxury lifestyle. But Bom and Minzy aren’t running with the same luck. I’ve noticed neither dress in expensive clothes anymore. Bom used to kill it with airport fashion wearing Channel, LV, Gucci, Versace, Prada etc but she hasn’t in years and now she repeats a lot of her clothes and shoes and they aren’t expensive at all. And if she does wear something expensive, it’s something she had from years ago during her days in the group. her style has drastically changed too (for the worst too ) her fans insist that’s she super rich but rich idols don’t repeat clothes or wear cheap stuff, it makes no sense! Minzy is the same case, she wears average and nugu brands and her stage outfits are nowhere near the quality that her 21 days outfits were. Some even looked handmade with glue gun; it’s that bad. This makes me think, that a lot of idols aren’t really rich like people think they are. Kpop isn’t lux and glam for the most part and only like 1 percent of idols really do have money.

Yeah I know that. But I wanted to see if anyone had an insight on the contradictions.

I have a genuine question in regards to people that get PS it involves contradiction. Here it goes. I'M USING PARK BOM as an example of the type of behavior I mean. Since I've been following 2ne1 for years, especially Bom I've noticed her words and actions are VERY contradictive. during their Can't Nobody era in 2010 she and Minzy where facing the mirror and Minzy said "we look pretty because of the lighting" and Bom said "it's not the lighting, we ARE pretty". In 2010 Bom still had her debut face but with no fat grafting, he face was flat (she got addicted to them after 2011) She still looked amazing and natural though. Time went on and we know what happened to her, Bom kept getting work done, especially nose jobs. In 2014 during their AON tour, a fan shouted to Bom at an airport "Unnie, you're pretty" and Bom yelled back "I know!" her ridiculous (and imo one of the worst nose jobs of all time) 2015 MAMA nose and more work including more noses and a butt implant happened again after that. Bom has gone live on IG hiding her face with filters, once a Grinch filter. She also would hide her face with her beanie, like she pulled the beanie all the way down to her nose and wouldn't show her face. Another instance she cut short her live because she said she didn't like how she looked. Another time she put the phone at a high angle and a fan asked her to move the phone and she said "no! this angle makes me look pretty" She went live doing her makeup around that time she was the biggest she was weight wise. She asked everyone to remove the live but didn't say why (it was obvious she didn't like how she looked) She's now addicted to the snow app, she warps her face to the point that her head is the size of her fist and her lips are bigger than Angelina Jolie's. One person commented on her IG to stop doing stuff to herself and Bom replied "are you sure about that honey? Because I haven't done anything to my face at all" LIKE .... wth. Her fans said "see! she's natural! she's never done anything to her face!" other said "oh she meant recently!" < like they put words in her mouth that she never said. She clearly said "AT ALL". But in her last interview she did with a magazine, they asked her what she didn't like about herself physically and she said "Oh I can't answer that, because I love myself" She has posted pics of heavily filtered polaroid and deleted the pic, she posts pics and deletes them often. And she hasn't posted in SEVERAL months and I think her image issues have to do with it. my question is HOW CAN SOMEONE SAY SHE LOVES HERSELF yet go through SO MUCH PS?!! Her fans praise her for being "confident" they lost their minds with that interview saying "see bishes! she's a confident queen" but her actions show the COMPLETE opposite! Anybody a psychologist here or is knowledgeable about this type of behavior? I CANNOT understand people like this for the life of me. If they loved themselves, then why did they completely change their face and body and never stop? and my second question. Why don't fans SEE that their fave has issues with their self image and instead choose to believe what their faves says even though their actions show the opposite?

Hi Mod, I've tried to change my signature but it's been a real pain in the butt to do so. Consequently, I've decided to just remove my current signature with Moon Jongup in it; as I grew out of the group. I'm also interested in removing my badges as well; as I grew out of those groups as well. I tried just deleting all of the GIFS and words from my signature and leaving it blank, but it says that my signature does not meet the requirements. How do I remove everything?

I am losing my mind right now cuz I CANNOT for the life of me remember a male idol who severely botched his face with plastic surgery. I cannot remember if he was a Korean or Japanese idol. I remember seeing his selfies one of them in a car and I think he had blond hair. His face was DISFIGURED like SEVERELY BOTCHED. I came across his pics in a thread on Quora and my dumbass forgot to look into him and kept reading the thread and exited it out. Now I CANNOT remember his name. I tried back tracking my searches and it’s been useless; I’m so frustrated right now. His name is short and he’s from a boy group or was. The boy group name length was also kinda short. Yes they can lol, nostril do all the work. Now when the nose gets botched to extreme points like Michael Jackson, it loses all its mobility. The closer to the natural state the nose is, the more it remains with its natural movement. In other words one to maybe 3 nose jobs the nose will act pretty natural but the more nose jobs a person gets the more it loses its natural abilities like scrunching and wiggling and nostrils flaring.

Okay this has been bothering me for years which is why this is LONG AF but idc, READ if you WANT or IGNORE idc I just never managed to fully address Bom as how I really see her and I think I finally found the right place to talk about it. After reading this post I realize there's a pattern in the fandom. 1)Many use her swollen lymph nodes disease as a crutch to explain her face change and bloating (i'll expand more on that below). That has some truth to it but it's very limited and I wannna break things down and maybe give people a real in depth look at her. Another reason i'm doings this 2) People refuse to see her obvious change; and that she has a a real problem. Instead, her fans pretend she's okay and hasn't had that much PS or "if PS makes her happy then let her be" which is contradicting because when someone is happy and satisfied with her looks, she doesn't keep getting plastic surgery, so that logic goes out the window. 3) I'm frustrated with the fandom and Bom herself, who get pissed off when her plastic surgery keeps getting brought up. THINK, If she had stopped getting PS pre debut or debut era, then people would have stopped talking about it, but instead she keeps getting it which prompts people to keep talking about it! Many idols get one or two things done and they STOP and you don't see people bringing their surgery constantly but they don't do it constantly!! When will she and her fans understand that?! Think of Michael Jackson who kept getting nose jobs or Little Kim who kept getting stuff done and became a constant punching bag. Their own actions bring forth an equal opposite reaction! 4) Bom lies about her PS and her fans eat up the lies, she's has replied to fans saying " I havn't done anything to my face at all" her fans immediately bent her words and said "oh she meant recently, she didn't deny anything" i'm sorry but "at all" clearly means NEVER. If she had meant recently she would have said so right there and then but didn't, she's fluent in English and is fully capable and understanding of the usage of English words. Another instance she replied to someone who commented about her nose and she said "Did not" when by that point she's had several nose jobs like the famous 2015 MAMA nose. She recently got a butt job and told on IG live that she's been doing "butt workouts" and her fans eat up that lie, even worse, they say shes' always had a butt... yeah okay... They act like Bom would never lie about her PS, as if she's some gospel divine being who would never lie and only tells the truth. She's human, she will lie just like how the Kardashians or other celebrities lie about their surgery saying "it's contouring, it's butt workouts"... 1) I really think people forget what her original face looked like, which can be described as having an actual structure: it was large, sharp and flat. She had a jawline, she had a chin and sharp cheekbones at this point she had very minimal work done like her first eyelid surgery, nose job but still looked very natural and, FLAT and notice she could stretch out her face freely with no stiffness. then she shaved her first jaw it started from the ear now, but it was still long and had some structure: There was a time period she took so many pics from the same odd angle, like when Top lost all that weight and took a shit ton of selfies from that angle too to show off that he finally had a skinny sharp jaw, in Bom's case is the lack of 2) Then she debuted and already looked much more different than pre debut. During debut era it's when she started getting fat grafting, her second eyelid surgery, and was introduced to aegyo ssal at this point she probably started tweaking her jawline more as well cuz it was even less prominent and not as long as it was before. this is the era people use to compare her to now to say "she hasn't changed that much" her "her face was always swollen" Which is crazy because it WASN'T . She started to get fat grafting, how did she go from a completely flat face to a chubby baby like face? It's not her swollen lymph nodes disease... Bom looked like this up until 2010 during the Can't Nobody promotions. She still had a large, somewhat flat face, normal chin, and round flat nose, but she still had a lot of facial movement, [spooiler] her face would wrinkle normally This is the era she showed that she had swollen lymph nodes diseases, notice, the ice bottles were put ON HER NECK , not on her face. It got me thinking, had there not been a reveal of her lymph nodes disease, what would fans use as an explanation for her face bloating and becoming rounder and smaller?? Remember YG also used this disease to explain why she got plastic surgery to calm the PS talk, he said she did it to treat the disease. Okay, but swollen lymph nodes are treated with antibiotics. If she got surgery for it, why would she shave her jaw, get several nose jobs through the years, double eyelids twice, chin implants and removal of it, boob job and butt job later on? What do they have to do with treated the lymph nodes? Nothing, she has OBVIOUS ISSUES her fans refuse to see. Then it started going downhill from 2011 during I am The Best comeback. She bleached her hair blonde with many used as another crutch to explain why she looked different. In reality, she had another nose job, a chin implant, her face was longer now and got more fat grafting, her face started to show less expressions, and structure. When she smiled it looked very and pulled as if she couldn't stretch it completely anymore. After this era, her face never went back to being flat again. This chin implant eventually backfired on her though, during Do you Love me promos, it shifted to one side and everyone but her fans noticed apparently because I don't recall any of the bringing it up as if it never happened O.o I think her lymph nodes may have caused her body to reject the implant, she removed it and didn't get it replaced so she went from Fans like to pull these pictures to prove she hasn't changed much which annoys me It's annoying because they act like a SHIT TON of stuff didn't happen in between those eras, just because she happens to look similar because she's at the same angle and doesn't mean she hasn't gone extensive PS surgery by that point (several nos jobs, THE DAMN CHIN IMPLANT INCIDENT they erased from their memories, the boob and butt job etc) How come they don't do something more like this? mix them up I seriously think her fans don't mix looks from all her her eras because it's not convenient to their defense narrative, they instead look for times she looks similar as possible to "prove she hasn't changed much". It's true Bom uses a lot of eye makeup and contact lenses and uses filters in her pictures to make herself look different but that only shows how deep her self image issues are! She tries to make herself look completely different than what she used to look like and nobody see that as having a problem! And again, she LIES about her plastic surgery. During AON era, she was looking the best she has in a long time in my opinion, she also had one of the best noses she's gotten which was round and flat and small like a button which is the one that which is the one that suits her small round face!! Then the scandal happened and she went on hiatus. My friend and I feared that she would get more stuff done while she was gone and what do you know? She did it again, when she came out of the stage at 2015 MAMA she had a completely different nose! It was a long bird beek like thing on her face. Her fans quickly said it was makeup, excuse me how the hell does makeup change your ENTIRE NOSE structure profile view?!! That 2015 Mama nose served me only two purposes that Bom indeed has issues with her self image, and that her fans reuse to see it and are BLIND. I read comments, Knetz noticed the nose IMMEDIATELY they called it a "piece of chalk on her face" and looks like the comments got to her because she changed it again! Her current nose isn't the MAMA nose anymore. In total she's done: her eyelids twice, her nose several times (can someone explain to me how is it possible to get so many nose jobs and not have a butchered nose by this point) jaw shave twice fat grafting, aegyo ssal, chin implant and removal of it, boob job and butt job. The only thing she hasn't done is her teeth and liposuction at this point. I'm try so hard to understand Bom, she has self image issues and i used to have them to so i try to sympathize with her i'm no psychologist but she shows clear signs of someone who has Body Dysmorphia yet her fans don't see it. One last issue that bugs me is the constant babying of her, she's a grown 35 year old woman who does things like her PS but GOD FORBID someone brings it up and they will get grilled. You can literally talk about any idol's PS except hers because for some reason she's "sacred". The fact that the post that used ONE PIC and talked about her lymph nodes got FIFTEEN UPVOTES only shows just how in denial and babying her fandom is. You say that's not positive about her you get swarmed and downvoted all the way to hell... just like how this post will be...but idc cuz it will only prove my point. Her constant PS is a commodity, it's human nature to point things out! Many show genuine concern about her but fans say it's only "fake concern" how is "i wish she would stop getting PS" "or I'm worried about her self image issues" fake concern??!! She really SHOULD STOP! And before anyone say "it's none of my business" I just think she's stepping into dangerous territories, she could end up disfiguring herself or have complications on the PS table FFS! There's deep denial, blindness and tabooing and it's just ridiculous at this point. Yes you can, when you scrunch your nose, your nostrils do all the work, they flare up not the bridge/tip which would be where the implant is inserted like the L implant. If anything, when scrunching the nose all areas but the plastic part would be able to move. Song Mino is notorious for scrunching his nose all the time in pics, Park Bom can, Michael Jackson could scrunch his nose, my friend who got a nose job can scrunch it etc etc What you CANT do with an implant is a pig nose.

i know i know, I understand where you coming from. I used to be a huge Blackjack and witnessing the deterioration of Bom through the years was just devastating and she still keeps doing it to this day. But trust me, it is just fillers; she has done fat grafting to have a fuller face and to soften the jaw. A jaw shave is unquestionable and can be spotted easily. Like i said, when the jaw starts straight from the ear and the face has a "mask" look the jaw was shaved; as it's the purpose of a jaw shave, to take away that sharp 90 degree angle. She still has her jaw but it's like so smooth now. I too thought she shaved her jaw but then i saw her IG live and she turned sideways, i could still see her jaw.

i don't think he shaved it, but rather uses fat grafting and fillers. The biggest tell on a jawshave is when the jawline starts straight from the ear and there's no angle. She still has that 90 angle but it's a lot softer now. She did this change in order to fit in more with the actress looks which is what she is now.

I'm sorry but his nose is one off the worse noses i ever seen right after Song Mino's and Park Bom's mama 2015 nose. It just doesn't make ANY sense. Sharp tip but flat nostrils, it doesn't look good in ANY angle it's an eyesore Idols need to realize that thin sharp noses doesn't suit EVERYONE...surgeons should know that too, like why on earth would you give someone a nose that doesn't suit him/her?

yeah man it's so sad, like to me he looked more distinct before but now he looks generic as hell. I think it's a combination of insecurities and the idea of having to fulfill that "visual" position that lead him to do that. He gets so much praised for his looks and he seems like he's trying to maintain that by molding himself to look a certain way...

omg i was just talking about Jinwoo to someone and told her he looks off, unfortunately she is in denial and says he hasn't gotten anything done. I specifically remember him having sharper and flatter features during the Win days but now he's completely bloated and has no facial structure at all. He's literally just eyes, nose and a mouth. I was wondering if he has shaved his jawline cuz it's literally none existent in the new video and got fat grafting to give him that balloon face? like...look at his sharp features, there was actually structure Jaw, cheekbones but now he's just a ball with nothing going on for him anymore?? Let's see how much of eagle eyes you guys are. Did any of y'all Minzy got TWO nose jobs? Not one, The first one left her nose WAY too sharp and pointy and way to obvious Then she seemed to have realized her mistake on getting it too sharp, so she had it done again to make more natural and closer to her original flat nose like the tip area which is rare for an idol to do, to try to go back cuz everyone wants an European nose. Oh speaking of noticing noses, have y'all noticed Dara's nose job as well? People seriously still think she's natural lmao and she keeps riding that natural bullshit, idk when she gonna come out clean about it.
