Original One Shot MV is way more epic, though. XD;;
Compared to other boygroups in their early stages, it's not great. I don't know if they did more/less gimmicks than the others. I'm less concerned about the total number of sales than what it might say about their concert sales because of the one version that's bundled with the ticket. I also hope OS does better, but it's not like they've had a lot of time to grow the fanbase (still a few weeks before it's available for sale, at least!)
Yea I am also worried about their tour. But I do think One Shot may be more popular. Their sales were not as good as other popular Korean groups in Japan but their concept is so different from what is popular in Japan. It may take some time for them to get more fans there ;;
BTW for those that wonder what heaven looks like

http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/w/2013-10-28/more/5/ for week 2
http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/w/2013-10-21/ week 1, but they wiped the numbers. But it was about 19k. I think someone posted the exact number in the thread, earlier. (Wiki sez 19057+, and since I think the weekly update only came out today or yesterday, that's probably week 1.)
I think it was decent. I hope One Shot will do better because it looks so much better and the MV was great. I also think this concept may be more popular in Japan. *crosses all fingers*

i'm confused, didn't block b say they sold over 100,000 albums?
Yea, I was wondering about that too b/c they didnt rank that high on Gaon.
But I do think they had decent sales number but i dont know about 100k
-
Hm... it's not great, but (if they weren't doing any gimmicks like handshake events) it's not too terrible. Second-week sales will probably be pretty negligible unless they start doing gimmicks.
(... I hope that 19k is without gimmicks. orz)
Also, it might not speak well about their concert sales. That number is from Oricon? And it counts all the versions?
Well they did have that tiny showcase. They need to get back to Japan and do fan-signings or something. I am also worried about their concert sales. Those are big venues. I think maybe that is why they are releasing another single album so soon, they realized that they need to get more fans.

So we sold ~19K first week in Japan. Does anyone know if that is bad? I know its not really good. Thx
-
What kind of dumbass special treatment is that. XD;;; It's not like they wouldn't still have ranked high even without that one! They could have made a note about it in the article that the low-ish fancafe numbers were probably an anomaly.
I think they needed to estimate their fans to accurately rank them. They probably do have really high numbers.

if we consider this chart, bap lacks domestically..
Yea. Thanks for posting this. It is much easier to read than the other charts going around. Dispatch said that they lack popularity in SK but that they have a strong international fanbase. Their higher ranks Youtube and iTunes prove that

I think they are doing really good. They just need more promotion among the SK public.

Hm, that has to be official fanclub rather than fancafe; Exo only has ~100k in their fancafe (which is "official" but apparently not maintained by SM).
Wait... Exo deosn't have a fanclub yet, I thought? They don't have an official fandom name, certainly, they said they were going to make a fanclub sometime this year but I can't imagine I actually missed it happening. If the Exo fans didn't make it known, the f(x) fans would surely have when they combusted from rage. XD Anyway, iirc only Exo is out place on that list, so I wonder what they counted....
I heard that they gave EXO ~300k fancafe member(estimated number) because that was the maximum and they think that is how many fans they have.

Gaon update:
BADMAN: 87,879
ONE SHOT: 85,098
flop flop flop
!
Plus that was before the last fan-sign event which means we probably reached 90k by now
I hope they get a lot of new Japanese fans. I was hoping Badman would reach 100k but that wont happen

BAP is #5 again ^^ I guess they are doing OK.
I heard the 1st week is the most important so I hope we stay on the top 10

Does anyone know how B.A.P is doing? Thanks!
