hi!! i know this post is kind of old and i don't mean to nitpick at all (your analysis was well worded and i agree with your points) but there's definitely a common misconception about bisexuality being solely limited to just man or woman. there's a whole bisexual manifesto that states that bisexuality does and can include nb people, and of course, binary trans people would generally fall under man or women right? this isn't really relevant to your bts analysis itself but i just wanted to share!

I agree with you! There is more concrete stuff about LGBT relating to Doyoung compared to his brother as well. It seems more so that Doyoung doesn't excessively play up fanservice but instead says and indicates certain things openly on his own volition, which is really cool but some people will instantly brush him off without paying attention to the actual things he's said relating to LGBT because they see he's not always doing excessive skinship or whatever. Side note, some people seriously think that whether you like skinship with the same gender is a strong indicator of sexuality, which I also don't entirely agree with. LGBT people can be touch averse as much as a straight person. I'm Asian-American and skinship culture where my parents are from is similar to South Korea's, but I used to be very touch averse with people of the same gender because I felt guilty because I wasn't straight if that makes sense? I've heard similar sentiments from other LGBT people about locker rooms and feeling guilty lol.
